Chương 70: Shameless Yuu!

"You really did tell her everything honestly huh…"

While walking on a lonely footpath with her favorite company beside her Mio asked with a defeated sigh.

After dinner, Yuuta and Mio left the latter's apartment since it was getting late. Yuuta told Mio that he can walk to the station by himself but Mio heard none of it.

Well, his reluctance was shallow since Yuuta could never reject any moment where he could be with this girl.

"Well, there was nothing to hide, was it? I told her what I feel toward you and I think being a parent she also wants to hear the truth, no?"

Mio knew what he said was true but still, it was embarrassing to let her mother know such things. Well, her heart was beating like crazy when she heard him confessing his love but still….

"Did I go overboard?"

Hearing his innocent tone, Mio instantly shook her head and extended her hand to hold his. It seemed her silence was mistaken.

"Of course no-ah! What's with your hands?!"

Evenings of November would surely be chilling and since Yuuta came here in a rush, he forgot most things like gloves and jacket back at the hill.

Mio took his hand and rubbed it in between her palms. He was burning with the cold!

Yuuta smiled with his eyes curved as he saw Mio worrying and panicking like she had neglected the most important assignment of her life.

'I am really irresponsible.. '

At times leaving her home Mio didn't actually notice that there wasn't anything covering his hands even though she took gloves for herself.

She's bad at taking care of people.

"What are you doing?"

In between, her fluster Mio halted her step and after taking off her right glove she tried to put it on Yuuta's right one. Despite being a little small, it somehow covered his fingers.

"But your skin is more sensitive."

Yuuta tried to resist since this cold was nothing for him. However, Mio's skin was delicate and precious which shouldn't be exposed to the winds.

However, what happened next made not only him realize what she was trying to do but also amplified his heartbeat slightly.

Mio wordlessly put her right and his left hand inside her heavy coat's pocket to keep both of them warm.

"See, now we both are protected."

Smiling brightly at her brilliant idea, Mio looked toward Yuuta only to find a strange expression currently spread over his face.

Before she could have asked what happened, Yuuta leaned slightly and placed his dry lips on her moist and warm cushions without warning.

The kiss wasn't the adult one that Mio felt enthralled from in her room but just a normal interaction of their lips. However, the problem was the place they were standing!

Mio closed her eyes in embarrassment but didn't back away since it might have hurt his feelings.

Yuuta seemed to finally get out of his stupor as after kissing the edge of her lips he stood forward.

"Stop being so adorable or you won't know when I might attack you."

Mio parted her lashes in disbelief and doubt. She couldn't discern when she tried to be cute and what the heck was going on with this man!

He's just baka, nothing more!

With her face adapting a deeper shade of crimson she started walking upon being urged by the shameless man who doesn't even get flustered after kissing her so boldly.

Yuuta enjoyed her reaction to the small time he had before they reached the station. It wasn't very far so it only took them ten minutes even though they halted in between.

Mio blinked in perplexion as she saw the same bald uncle who took her to the house standing some meters away with a big black Mercedes parked behind him.

"When you were going back in the car… Why did you come to the station?"

Mio fixated her eyes back on Yuuta as she asked in perplexion.

Yuuta smiled fondly before holding her other hand in a gentle grip as he spoke his true motive behind this lie .

"I just wanted to be with you as much as I can."

Mio fell speechless upon hearing his reason.

She couldn't even say how unfair and sweet Yuuta is at the same time. She just…can never get enough of him.

"Baka… You could have said so."

Mio stepped closer to him as she whined with a smile.

Yuuta wanted to say something more or talk with her for the whole night but it wouldn't be appropriate.

Bringing his hand over her cheek, he caressed her softly as Yuuta spoke in a sweet whisper.

"Take care. I will call you after reaching home, kay?"

Mio was about to nod in disappointment since she knew he would be leaving now but suddenly she seemed to remember something as she spoke in a higher pitch.

"I completely forgot to tell you, Yuu."

Yuuta raised his brows and waited for her to continue with his hand still feeling her chubby cheeks. But the next thing she spoke made him freeze in slight shock.

"Chihiro and her group actually…lost today…
