Chương 74: Troubled Yuuta!

After Hajime departed for the airport, Yuuta stood at the main gate of the mansion for quite a long time.

He was distressed.

After walking inside, he didn't talk much with anyone including Sayuri. He just sat there, nodding and smiling from time to time but he actually wasn't there.

At the time of dinner too, Yuuta finished early and excused himself by saying that he doesn't feel well.

"Take care Yuu-chan. If you feel any discomfort please tell us, okay?"

Yuuta nodded and reassured his concerned parents before he walked to his room.

Sayuri saw through Yuuta's unusual behavior and had a hunch as to what could be the reason for his distress.

But she couldn't leave the dinner table and follow him to the room and talk things out with him. Well, not now at least.

**Dhak**

Closing the door on his back, Yuuta exhaled audibly as he tousled his long-grown hair. He thought of taking a bath first before calling Mio.

Taking off his shirt he threw it in the basket and the same did for his pants before he stepped into the bathroom.

After a long thirty-minute shower, Yuuta finally got out wearing a boxer on his lower half and a loose T, as he rubbed his hair with a dry towel.

'I should cut my hair or should I tie them up? '

Yuuta wasn't much of a fan of long hair but Mio likes it when he ties his hair in a bun or does similar hair styling. Ultimately, he was going to let them be as they were.

Taking his phone from the table, Yuuta fell on his warm bed before reaching up for the contacts.

There were now quite a few names registered but the star shape was labeled beside only a single name.

Tapping the call icon, the phone started ringing only to get picked up after the first ring.

"Took you long to call."

Yuuta was surprised to get picked so soon that he nearly forgot to respond in the first three seconds.

"Oh..that. Hajime-san was departing today, that's why I got late in calling you."

Actually, Yuuta got late because of the matter with Kyouya. But of course, he wouldn't say so.

"Ah, sorry. I didn't know."

"It's fine. Umm… Did your mother say anything after I left?"

Yuuta got up from the bed while talking to Mio as he went to find something to drink. Fetching the mineral water from the bag he took for hiking, he heard Mio after a small pause.

"Well n-nothing much."

For some reason, Yuuta felt that Mio was blushing at the moment but he decided to ask about this when he meets her tomorrow.

**Knock*Knock*Knock**

Yuuta was about to continue when he heard heavy knocks on his door like the person on the other side was quite hurried.

"I will call you back… "

Yuuta had a hunch about who could be on the other side. That's why he told Mio to call back later.

After disconnecting the call he threw it on the bed and walked to the door.

*Click**

As he expected, it was Sayuri waiting on the other side who wordlessly stepped inside in a rush before closing the door on her back.

"Sorry for intruding like this. Kaa-san was coming upstairs and if she has seen me meeting you at this hour, she might have… you know… "

Yuuta nodded and guided Sayuri to the bed.

Sayuri was surprised to see him so calm even though she just barged in and also he was offering his bed to sit on, not the chair she has always used.

Yuuta offered the bottle from which Sayuri took two mouthful gulps.

After calming herself down a little, Sayuri turned toward Yuuta who was in front, sitting on a chair as she spoke in a slightly tense tone.

"Yuuta-kun…did my father say something which is troubling you? "

Sayuri's expression was apologetic with some guilt blended in her voice since this wasn't something Yuuta had any responsibility toward.

Yuuta has no gain from this contract which Sayuri has selfishly formed.

"And why do you think he would say something to make me troubled? "

Yuuta asked casually, trying to elevate the atmosphere of the room. But Sayuri wasn't going to back off until she hears all of it.

"I can tell. By your way of responding to how you hold your cutlery. I can differentiate how you generally behave and the way you seemed tonight. So please tell me what happened. "

Her voice turned softer to the point where it seemed she was pleading with Yuuta to confess what had happened.

Yuuta felt cornered as he leaned on the chair before sighing in defeat.

"Well, things happened…
