Chương 76: Jealous Mio?!

The consecutive buzz signified that Mio had missed another call from the same person. Including this one, there have been seven missed calls in the span of just three minutes.

The reason she wasn't picking up the call despite being from the man she could never get tired of talking to was…

"I am jealous…"

Mio has accepted the fact which might sound silly if she recalls this day in the future but at the moment she was extremely jealous of Sayuri.

With her face pressed into her favorite plushie which contained the scent Yuuta left behind she thought about the conversation she heard accidentally.

Yuuta forgot to disconnect the call and of course, as a girlfriend, she could not miss the opportunity to hear what her boyfriend talks with some other girl.

From what she heard, Mio was glad that Yuuta has hid nothing from her nor did he have any kind of relationship with Sayuri which could have hurt Mio.

But still hearing such a warming tone of Yuuta and the way he comforted Sayuri made her heart clench.

From what Mio has seen over the past months, she concluded that Yuuta remains neutral in front of everyone other than her. Even though some girls from class tried to talk to him, Yuuta always kept a moderate distance.

Well, she admits that it was not appropriate to not show sympathy for a crying girl but nothing could convince Mio's heart at the moment.

And that's the reason why she wasn't picking up his phone since Mio knew that she might end up saying something which she would regret afterward.

But Mio didn't want to make Yuuta stressed about her so she just tapped on her 'Line' and texted him.

Me; [Let's meet tomorrow and talk things out. And yeah, please bring Sayuri-san with you.]

There was a long minute pause from the other end before Yuuta finally texted her back.

Yuu: [I will but please don't overthink things, Mio. I will tell you everything tomorrow.]

Mio read the message three more times before she typed something but ended up erasing it. She just doesn't know what to say at the moment.

Chihiro was already making her anxious for some time and now Sayuri too…

'Seriously this guy… Why is he so irresistible… '

With a smile blooming on her face, Mio's lashes felt heavy as her consciousness started to fade.

"Yes, she just left Yuuta-sama's room. Her eyes were slightly red. It seemed she had cried for something. Okay, I have to go now."

"Hmm, bye."

As she disconnected the call a young girl in her teens leaned back on her chair and thought about the information she just got from the Kiriya mansion.

Her dark raven eyes flickered on the various pictures hanging on her wall which contained nothing but a single person.

Most of them were candid and slightly blurred yet they were framed and hung in the room like masterpieces.

The woman who provided the information related to Yuuta's fiancee was actually a maid working in the mansion and regularly leaked information to this single girl.

"I just took my eyes off you shortly and you already grew so close to your fiancee huh, Yuu?"

The dangerous smile was elevating her charm as she kept her gaze fixed on the pictures and conversed like she was talking to him in person.

The glint in her eyes was scary enough to petrify someone like Shio but currently she herself doesn't realize what face she was making since her mind was filled with only a single person.

'I think it's not fair for those two to have all your attention, right? '

With her smile deepening, she thought about tomorrow's plan where she would be meeting him after so long.

'I can't wait to see my Yuu~...
