Strange New Life

When I woke up I could hardly move my body. It felt strange and comprehension of my situation eluded me. Next thing I knew is that I was surrounded by many strange creatures all scurrying to devour those who were too weak to be born. 

How did I end up here? I need to get out.

This story is about a poor man who one day wakes up in an unfamiliar world and an even less familiar body. Throughout the story she'll come to accept her harsh reality and try to shape her own destiny despite it. Exactly how she ended up in the situation she is in will be something she'll have to piece together. Though whether her mind will be able to handle it all is the question.

This story WON'T be one where the MC somehow turns into an all powerful being with unfair abilities. I'd like to try and avoid that. It'll be much more 'laid back' without a strong emphasis on powers save for daily use. There will be some mention of unsavoury things here and there related to gore but nothing graphic.

This is the first ever story I'm writing publicly so I'd love to hear whatever constructive criticism you have!
