As I was trying to see if I was right, I continued smelling the amazing aroma of this tree. I didn't even bother checking how much experience I got from this fight because of the nostalgic smell I was smelling.
The shape was way different from the plant back on Earth, but this smell… is definitely coffee!
“Aya, don’t get close to those trees!” Theresa warned Aya after seeing her follow me.
“Huh? Why?” Aya wondered as she looked back at her. She was also a little worried since Theresa’s voice sounded really worried.
“That tree is deadly poisonous and it can instantly harm anyone who touches it!” Theresa explained as I was listening to them.
I thought that coffee wasn’t discovered yet in this world, but seeing what Theresa was saying, then that probably means that someone already tried investigating this tree.

Name: Coffee tree
Effects: Diarrhea, Myocardial infarction, Superficial burns!
A not so ordinary coffee tree that can even make someone hallucinate just from its smell. It can boost up your stamina and strength but its side effects can be fatal!

“She’s right! Don’t get too close to this tree!” I also warned everyone after looking at its status. While it was different from its shape and effects, I still didn't want to just leave this aside. There has to be some kind of explanation why this coffee was in such condition.
I do understand that this is another world, and its law’s nature may differ from the world I came from. But what bothered me is the fact that it still has a lot of characteristics in common with coffee.
“Aya, can I borrow your dagger?” I asked after making up my mind.
“Eh? O-okay!”
“What are you trying to do?” Theresa looked at me as I got Aya’s dagger with levitation from where she was.
“I will get a sample of this tree. If I am right, I can remove the poisonous effects and make this into a delicious drink.” I explained as I continued peeling the trunk of the tree carefully.
“T-that? Into a drink? Are you serious?” As Theresa was trying to understand what I was trying to do, I grabbed a bag and filled it with the peeled parts of the tree, then I carefully levitated it some steps away from Aya and Theresa.
Sometimes I could feel Theresa’s gazes as we were going back to the town.
Since I didn't want to show the guild what I was carrying in my bag, I asked Theresa and Aya to go ahead without me so I could start my preparations in our house.
I knew that they were going to take too long there, that's why they agreed on me going straight to our house.
After entering the house, I decided to take this experiment on the basement of this place. The basement used to smell really bad before we cleaned it up. Theresa suggested that we didn’t really need the basement since it was clearly used for torture, but I suggested to use it for storing stuff. And I'm glad that we didn't just get rid of this room.
“Okay, now that I have all of the materials here. I should probably get ready!” I said to myself as I spread the materials in front of me.
Since I can’t get poisoned, I can prepare the coffee without having to worry about anything. Even when Aya and Theresa come back too early, I’m sure they won't come down here.
After spreading the peeled trunk on some kind of sheet, I used my skill ‘fire element’ to dry the liquids that were inside of them. It took a few minutes since I didn't want to burn them too much.
After making sure that they were properly dried, I put them on mortar and pestle and began grinding them to dust.
Until now, there didn't seem to be any problems, and the aroma of the coffee was becoming much better. And after carefully removing any dirt from the coffee, I began preparing hot water in a glass container. I placed a slim piece of cloth at the top of the glass so the coffee would be filtered during the brewing.
And now, was the last and the best step of making an attractive coffee smell. I quickly got hot water and started slowly brewing the coffee. It didn't take long before the perfect smell of the coffee picked my sense of smell.
“....”
And now, the final result…

Effects: Stamina increase, Mana restoration, Energy restoration!
What's better than a cup of coffee in the morning? ( ͡❛ ᵜ ͡❛)

“I… I did it!” I celebrated after I saw the full results of this coffee.
I remember when I used to drink coffee every morning so I could get enough energy for my daily routine. While I can’t taste it in this form, I’m sure that Aya and Theresa would be amazed by the coffee I made.
I didn’t wait long before they were finished and came back in here.
“Hm? What is that smell?” Theresa asked the moment she picked the nice aroma of the coffee in the room.
“It smells nice.” Even Aya seemed to be interested in the coffee’s smell.
And now that they are here, I can have them taste this coffee.
“I made a new drink. Do you want to give it a sip? I think you’ll love it!” I brought two cups of coffee to Aya and Theresa.
Since the coffee in itself would be bitter for them, I decided to smooth them with some milk I bought from someone at the dairy shop.
“It looks weird… What is this?” Theresa weirdly looked at the coffee the moment I brought it to her. I guess she would find it weird, since this is the first ever made coffee in this world.
Actually, I thought they would already realise that this was the deadly tree they freaked out today, but they seem distracted by the unknown nice aroma of the coffe.
But Aya on the other hand, swallowed her saliva, then immediately tried drinking the hot coffee in one breath.
"Ah! H-hott! Hoth!" She took her tongue out after slightly burning.
That was a bit clumsy of her drinking coffee like that, but I find that side of her a bit adorable.
"You're supposed to drink it slowly and enjoy the taste of the drink." I warmly smiled as I explained to Aya.
After she calmed down a little, she looked at the coffee once again then tried tasting it with a bit of hesitation.
"...it's...delicious!" Aya said with a sweet look on her face as she took another sip of the coffee. I could even see her eyes sparkling a little from the delicious drink she just discovered.
I won't be surprised if she becomes addicted to it.
Theresa also tried tasting the drink after seeing Aya's unexpected reaction. She still had a doubting expression on her face, but her eyes widened the moment she tried the coffee.
"T-this is a mana potion!!!" Theresa said after taking another sip of the coffee.
When I checked its status, it did mention that it increases stamina, energy, and it restores mana. In the modern world, coffee was considered a drink that could keep people awake and give them the necessary energy for the day. So I'm not surprised about its effects coffee has in this world.
“So what do you think?” I asked as I was looking at them enjoying the amazing taste of the coffee.
“H-how did you make this? Where did you..” Theresa asked as she was looking at the drink in her hands.
She had a slight guess from the similar color of the drink, but before she figured it out on her own, I decided to tell her.
“Oh, didn’t I tell you? I used the tree I peeled in the forest.” Both Aya and Theresa looked at their coffee for a moment, then they looked at me with a shocked expression. They had the look of someone who realised that they got tricked.
Their expression was priceless if I had to say…
“D-don’t tell me… You used that poisonous tree?” Theresa’s face became pale when she realized what I used to make the coffee.
Even Aya had her mouth half open from the shock.
“Yes, is that something prohibited in this town?”
I may sound dumb asking something so obvious to them but… if I sell this drink while people know the source of it, then I’m one hundred percent sure that they wont buy it.
That's why I didn't tell Aya and Theresa before tasting the drink since I knew that they wouldn't drink it. And if I want to get income from this new product, I need to find some kind of advertisement that will convince people to buy it.
An experienced merchant or probably sell it to the guild. That's also another option for me, but I want this coffee to be bought not only by adventurers but also by normal people.
“So you finally showed your true self?! You wanted to get rid of us with poison, and tricked us into thinking it was a mana potion?” Theresa came up with this realization as she dropped her cup of coffee. But thanks to my skill ‘levitation’ I managed to catch it before it fell into the floor.
She really wants to find any excuse possible to frame me, doesn't she?
“I didn't show any true self, so calm down. I wouldn't want anyone to get poisoned, so of course I managed to remove the harmful effects of the drink.” I quickly tried to explain this to them about the negative effects of the coffee tree.
“Didn’t you say that that kind of tree can even harm people from its smell? Both of you already drank it and you seem perfectly fine, don't you?”
Both of them looked at themselves for a moment after I explained them.
“I wouldn't give you something to drink if I knew it was poisonous.” I also added since Theresa didn’t seem convinced of what I was saying.
“...You’re right, I don’t feel anything other than my mana being recovered…” I let out a sigh after Theresa understood that I had no ill intention towards any of them.
But Aya seemed a little shocked even after that. Did she not listen to my explanation at all?
“Besides, I would be lonely if something happened to any of you.” I gently smiled as I said that to Theresa.
“Y-your sweet words won’t manipulate me that e-easily!” Theresa’s face blushed a little as she replied to me.
Since Aya wasn't saying anything until now, I went near her and gently rubbed her head. She looked up at me, then she immediately forgot about the drink and started enjoying the nice sensation of having her own head rubbed just like a small cat would.
“Anyway, do you think this will sell?” I asked Theresa in order to break the weird atmosphere we were having in this room.
“It’s hard to tell... if people learn that this drink comes from the Prinix tree. They wouldn't even approach your shop…”
So even if this was a new discovery in this world, no one would bother buying it if they knew what kind of plant it came from.
“Both of you have already tested it. We can sell it without telling people that it came from the Prinix tree.” I suggested it to her.
“Hmm.. that is true.” Theresa agreed on my opinion after looking at the cup of coffee one more time. “This drink is delicious despite having the same effects as a mana potion.”
This might be another pro about coffee. They can be considered as mana potions that are delicious to drink.
But now, lies another question regarding the new business I want to start. Where do I find a reasonable shop to sell this new drink?
I already have a merchant's license, so I should be good to go. But without any connections or a suitable place to sell, I won't be able to achieve anything…
So going to the merchant’s guild is what option I'm left with. But since Aya and Theresa just arrived back from the adventurers guild, I should probably do that tomorrow.
“How about you girls try the new bath? I’m sure you’d want to get rid of the sweat.”
Both Theresa and Aya looked with an excited expression on their faces. I wonder how they’ll react after experiencing a nice warm bath.
“Oh, right… Is it really okay for us to use that kind of bath?” Even though Theresa wasn't sure, she still asked about that luxurious service in this world. But I knew that she was slightly excited about this.
“Of course, I can’t use it since I am a ghost. And It would be a shame if no one really used it.” Thereesa thought for a bit before looking back at me.
“Then, I’ll take up your offer.”
Theresa and Aya went to the bathroom immediately after making up their mind. Even Theresa was trying not to show any emotions, I could already tell that she was excited.

Hiroki had already prepared hot water for both of the girls before they came back to this house as he knew they would be using it.
After entering the bathroom, there was a warm steam flowing through the room, making it much better for them to get adapted to the temperature. Their bodies were becoming sweatier from the steam and they could already feel that their bath was going to take longer than usual.
“Here, let me help you.” Theresa tried helping Aya take off her clothes after noticing her struggle to get her head out of the shirt’s hole.

“O-oh, thank you Theresa-san!” Aya looked up at Theresa with a smile on her face after helping Aya take off the shirt.
“There’s no need for ‘-san’, just call me Tess.” Theresa said to her as they were fully naked in front of each other.
“Then, T-Tess… thank you for helping me.” Aya looked up at Theresa with her seductive eyes which immediately made her look really cute. Even Theresa blushed as she was looking at the doll like beauty in front of her.
“Hnnnnng!!! I can’t anymore! Aya, you’re just so cute!!!!” Theresa couldn't hold herself back anymore from Aya’s adorable reaction. She immediately grabbed Aya and hugged her really tight.
“T-Tess!... I c-can’t... b-breathe!!” Aya’s head was being squashed by Theresa’s breasts which almost suffocated her.
“Ah, s-sorry…” She let go of Aya after seeing what her breasts had done to the young girl.
After preparing the necessary stuff, they began washing themselves near the bathtub.
When Theresa finished cleaning herself up, she decided to help Aya as well before her body would get cold.
“Let me wash your back.” Theresa said as she crouched behind Aya, letting her breasts loose on her back. Aya immetely reacted from this sudden reaction then she tried looking at her own chest.
“Ah, t-thank you!” Theresa began washing her back while being careful of the force she would put on her hands.
“Let me know if I’m being too hard.”
“Okay.”
Then, after washing Aya's back, she carefully washed her hair as well. She gently brushed her white silky hair then they both proceeded to enter the bathtub.
"This is so relaxing…" Aya's body almost melted down in pleasure the moment she soaked her body inside the water.
"I'm surprised that he built such a place for us." Even Theresa seemed relaxed as she let her body loose near Aya.
While the bathtub wasn't that big, it was enough for seven people to relax with each other.
"That's because Hiroki is kind." Aya showed a bright smile as she complimented Hiroki.
"Is that so?..." Theresa thought for a bit after she said that. "But, you seem to care about him a lot." She also added as she was holding her own knees.
Aya smiled a little after seeing Theresa’s quiet reaction while being in that kind of position.
"I'm sure Hiroki cares about you as well." Aya’s sweet words made Theresa a bit angry as she averted her eyes away from Aya. But a slight gult was flowing inside her as she fell in her own thoughts.

Hiroki’s POV
————————
The next morning, I asked Aya and Theresa to escort me while going to the merchant’s guild.
“Even if you didn’t ask, I’d still follow you. There’s no telling what you might be planning.” Even after spending this much time together, she still didn’t trust me. I know that it hasn't passed that much time, but she should have realised that I’m not trying to harm anyone in this town.
After arriving at the merchant’s guild, I saw that it was much quieter than usual. Even the same girl who was working with a lot of documents last time, was waiting at the front of her desk with a smile on her face.
“Hello, how may I help you today?” She greeted me the moment I got closer to her.
“I managed to get my hands on a potion that might be able to be quite profitable in this town.” WIthout breaking her posture, and with a smile on her face, she took a light breath before responding to me.
“If it's a new product, then you should register it to the merchants guild. We can appraise the most appropriate price for you, together with its quality.” She calmly explained to me.
"Aya, can you take one bottle out for me?" I asked Aya to keep some bottles in her dimensional storage since the items in there don't get affected by anything. And that includes the time we keep stuff in there, nothing will break or change. It was as if time itself stops the moment we put stuff inside there.
"This is the product that I wish to sell." I gave a small bottle filled with warm coffee mixed with a little milk.
"It's quite warm and the color is weird. But don't worry, our guild can appraise stuff even if they are at their worst state." She continued smiling so she wouldn't break her character.
But her character faded away the moment she placed the bottle of coffee at the top of a paper which had some gibberish words written on it.
“T-this is!!!” The words on the paper began glowing until it showed more gibberish words to her.
“M-may I hold this for a moment please?!” She looked at me with a worried but shocked look on her face as she requested me with her lovely expression.
“Sure, but did--...” But before I could even finish, she ran through the guild and entered a room which was the farthest from the hallway.
It didn’t take long before she came back with a lady with dark brown hair and green sharp eyes. While the receptionist girl had a worried look, the lady had a calm look on her face as she was coming towards her. With each step she took, I could actually see her breasts move up and down in an erotic way. But I pretended to not notice since Aya and Theresa were right next to me.
“Are you the one who brought this mana potion?” The lady asked the moment she got closer to me.
“Yes, that's me.” And I immediately responded back while trying not to stare at her massive breasts which looked as if they were about to be spilled out.
“I have to say that I never thought that a delicious mana potion would be a thing to this day. With its amazing effects, I’m definitely sure that you’ll have success. And our guild would be really happy to help you.” The lady gently smiled as she looked at the bottle of warm coffee.
“Actually, that's the reason I came here. I wanted to know if you could find me a place where I could start my own business in this town.” But the lady showed signs of disappointment and sadness when I said that to her.
“Unfortunately, I don’t think there are any suitable places where you can sell one product… even if it was the best in quality. We’re already struggling with debts from other merchants that are renting most of our stores…” She calmly explained to me with a bit of frustration.
Oh, right.... I didn't put in consideration the fact that most of the merchants are having financial trouble. Actually, I really wanted to start my own coffee shop, but it seems like that idea is out of options.
That is for now…
I still want to spread this coffee in this world, so I wont just give up and walk away. If I can’t sell it directly to the people, then I’ll have merchants, or shop owners do it for me.
“Excuse me.”
“Yes?”
“Is it possible to give me names and locations of all merchants that sell drugs, drinks or ordinary food?” The lady confusingly looked at me for a moment when I asked this question, but then she made an expression as if she understood what I was trying to do.
“Yeah, we’d be glad to give you all the locations that can buy your potion.” She let out a sigh in relief as she said that to me.
.
..
…
“Hiroki” Aya looked at me as we were walking towards the locations that the guild wrote for us. Since I couldn't read, I had Theresa show us the way.
“Yes?”
“Why did you ask for names of the merchants and their store locations?” She asked me as we continued walking.
“Oh, that? It's easy. Since I couldn't manage to open my own store, I’m planning on selling them to all of the merchants that might be interested in my product.” But as I was explaining to Aya, Theresa looked at me.
“But wouldn't you have more income if you sold them at your own price? Even though it's your own product, those merchants would have more income than you.”
I see what Theresa is trying to say, and that's true. Those merchants would have more income in one bottle of coffee, but in the end, I’ll be the one with the most profits.
“You don’t need to worry about that.” I smiled at her as I said that.
“Who said I was worried?!” But her reaction was a bit unexpected. She immediately averted her eyes in anger as she continued leading us the way.
After walking for a while, we finally arrived at the first merchant who seemed to be emptier than the rest of the shops around here.
Near the front entrance was the owner of the shop who was sleeping on a chair.
Is the state of this shop this bad to the point of falling asleep from not having customers?!
“Um… Hello?” I tried calling out to him but still, he didn't seem to wake up from his sleep.
After Theresa noticed that he wasn’t waking up, she walked near him then began yelling. “Oi! WAKE UP!”
The owner of the shop fell off his chair and immediately woke up in confusion from what was happening.
I was a bit surprised to see Theresa act like that, and so was Aya…
“H-huih!?!? I-if you’re here for the rent, then I don’t have it yet.” He tried going back to sleeping after saying that to us… but Theresa wasn’t having it.
“W-wait, leave this one to me!” I tried stopping Theresa from yelling at this poor guy’s ear once again.
“We’re not here to take the payment of the rent.” I tried explaining to him but he still didn't bother opening his eyes.
“Then what are you here for?” He asked us while keeping his eyes closed.
We could be customers you know?! Is this how you react when someone comes to your shop!? Or that's what I wanted to say to this old man. My reason for coming to his shop was nothing other than offering my product to him.
“The merchant’s guild suggested to me your store for purchasing one of my products. I'm sure you might be interested in it.”
He slightly opened his eyes after I showed him the bottle of coffee.
“Wouldn't it be better if you sold that to a shop that has more customers than me?” He suggested with his dead voice, who didn’t seem that interested in my product.
“No, I believe that a store like yours could get me some profits as well. If you doubt my product, then you can get a taste for yourself and deci--” But before I could finish talking.
“No,there is no need for that. I already know that this ‘coffee’ is a rare product, and I'm sure it's quite valuable.” He began saying all of that.
Wait, he already knows of the coffee’s effects?! I’m sure the merchant’s guild wouldn't be this fast to spread news about my coffee. Besides they only know of it as a mana potion, not as a coffee.
But that doesn't matter right now, I need to convince him somehow.
“Won’t you consider selling this in your store then? This could be a chance to get more customers in your store as well?” I suggested.
“That is quite generous but I don’t think I can afford buying your ‘coffee’. Besides, not many adventurers will be able to afford buying it as well.” The shop owner let out another sigh.
I understand why he is refusing my offer, but will he react the same after I tell him the price?
“Right! I didn’t mention this but I plan on selling one bottle of coffee for 100 Xumi to you.”
His eyes narrowed to slit in confusion and shock when I told him the price of the coffee.
“A-a hundred Xumi?! Are you joking?!” His voice trembled in disbelief as he was waiting for my response.
“Yes, I want this coffee to be bought not only by adventurers but also by commoners.” He looked straight into my eyes before calming down.
“That is quite the offer you are making… It would be stupid if I were to refuse” The shop owner slightly smiled with hope as he got up from his chair.
“Then how much do you think you can buy from me?” I asked.
“Since this drink is new to this town, I think I’ll take one hudred bottles for the first day.”
“That sounds great!” Both of us agreed to the number of bottles I was going to sell to him. But right now lies another question…
How did he know the quality of the coffee in one glance? I may have a guess... but I think asking him would be much faster.
“By the way…”
“Is something wrong?” He asked.
“How did you know~”
“I have a skill called ‘appraisal' that helps me see any information with one look.”
Wait, so that means he can also see my status?
I looked back at him after seeing that he might be able to reveal my information…
“You don’t need to be on guard, I don’t really care if you are a ghost.” He said to me with a calm look on his face.
