I slowly laid Aya down somewhere away from that pile of trash as I heard a voice from a distance.
“I found Theresa!” Kaito notified me as he brought her body next to Aya and carefully laid her down.
While Aya was missing her legs, Theresa was in a much worse shape.
My eyes couldn't even grasp whether these cursed eyes of mine were tricking me or not.
Theresa’s right arm was completely gone, losing blood incredibly fast just like Aya.
But her skin was completely burned to the point where it was unrecognizable to know what her skin looked like. Even in some parts of her body, I noticed something white sticking out of her burned body…
Her skin was in a shape that even her bones could be seen with the naked eyes. It made me rage to see this kind of sight from the person I truly loved.
“Priest! COME HERE!!!” I loudly called out to her, not wanting to waste any more time.
I couldn't even pull out the healing potions from her dimensional pockets, that's why I had no one else but the priest to help Aya recover.
Even if I can’t do anything right now, the priest should be able to do something about this.
When Theresa was in a life threatening situation, she used her powers as a priest to help her. And I was sure that she could do it again.
“C-coming!” Loudly replied the priest as soon as she saw both of the girls laying badly injured on the ground.
Two of the other girls were by Kaito’s side, covering their mouths from the horrifying sight that was in front of them.
The gray haired girl couldn't even bring herself to look at the state of Aya and Theresa were in as they were being inspected by the priest.
They seemed to be wondering how the priest was this calm about this.
"How are they!?" Kaito asked in a worry as he was looking at the priest use her powers over the injured girls.
"...."
But blood continued to flow outside of their bodies, and the priest’s power didn't seem to be doing anything.
The priest did not respond to her lover’s voice as sweat was dripping down her face. She seemed tired and overstressed about this, but I didn't care about that.
Aya and Therese must be healed at all costs!
“....” But after a short look over the badly injured bodies of the sleeping girls, the priest’s hands stopped glowing.
Her hands trembled after taking a good look at the girls. It was as if she couldn't seem to understand what was going on.
"Why aren't you doing anything?! Help them!" I glared at her.
Aya and Theresa didn't have any positive effects on their bodies, and blood still continued to flow out of their bodies.
If they aren't treated as soon as possible, they won't be able to survive!
“Emiko, what happened?” Kaito asked after confusingly looking at his woman who wasn't using her powers to heal anymore.
There was a short silence in the background before the trembling looking priest looked back at me. Her eyes were much different than usual. It almost looked like she had lost color in them.
She looked like she was about to say something, but she couldn't seem to bring herself to tell me that.
"They… they are dead."
“....”
“””....”””
But what came out of her mouth in those next seconds, was something that I never wanted to hear.
Dead?! What is she talking about!! They aren't dead! That priest is just pulling crap out of her ass. I'm sure of it!!
Even though I don’t have a physical body, I felt something warm piercing through my eyes. I couldn't understand it, but it felt like I was about to burst.
"Stop fucking joking around and heal them!" I no longer wanted to ask for their help.
What I was asking of them wasn't a request… but an order!
It doesn't matter who they are or where they come from. If Theresa and Aya are dead… then I might as well kill everyone in here.
"I can't heal what's already dead!" The priest responded back to me with her eyes that didn't seem to have the guts to see what she couldn't help.
Already… dead?
No… No. No. No. No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! NO WAY!
I won’t accept such answer from that dumb priest!
Everyone else was either looking at me in pity while some of them looked sad at this kind of sight that was happening right in front of them.
Even Kaito clenched his hand in anger for a bit before taking a closer step towards me.
"Hiroki… I'm truly sorry.” He apologized as he tried touching my shoulder. But his hand stopped halfway through as I continued looking at the horrifying sight of the sleeping beauties that didn't seem to be waking up.
“If I were stronger, then this wouldn't have happened." His voice had become gentler, filled with guilt that he couldn't manage to help everyone that was on this boat.
But why does that matter to me anymore? They are already dead! They aren't moving and I can't sense any life from any of them!
I’m so fucking useless!
“Haha…”
I couldn't help but laugh at this kind of thing that was happening right now.
My vision was becoming much darker as a slight dark mist was flowing outside of me.
I could feel every sense of myself becoming much different as a slight voice in my head was telling me to destroy everything within my sight.
Everyone looked at me with slight worry and a bit of fear from the way I was acting right now, and none of them didn't dare to take any step closer towards me.
“This is really frustrating.” I said to myself as I stood up, looking at everyone who had questionable reactions.
Even though they used to hate me from the way I treated their lover, now their eyes were filled with fear of what I was saying.
Confusion? Or perhaps guilty of watching someone break from having their loved ones die like that?
Many emotions were going through their head, but the one I sensed the most… was fear.

“No matter where I am, I always fail to do things right.”
At that time I wasn't aware of the things that were slowly changing me. But slowly within me, something terrifying was growing stronger each time I felt anger or despair.
And as my voice was becoming hollow, I was unable to control how I was feeling right now.
My ears continued ringing as the faces of my loved ones were slowly disappearing from my head.
And while Kaito and the others were becoming conscious of my humanity, they still didn't leave from here.
“Hiroki, I understand how you feel… But you have to let them go.” His deep, yet gentle voice said with a brite look on his face while trying to feel sympathy about me.
Understand how he feels?
Does he even realize what his mouth is sprouting?
Everyone that I knew is already dead in this world, and now he’s telling me to just… let go?
“No matter how difficult or hard the situation may be, you have to move on.” While Kaito continued to try and calm me down with his sweet words, the other girls simply looked down in grief about my loss.
Was it respect the way they acted, or were they trying to take pity on me?
“Move… on you say? You’re telling me to move on? You don’t even understand what I’ve gone through.”
Their faces continued to show signs of pity on me as they couldn't even see down the mess that Aya and Theresa had ended up in.
“You don’t even know what these girls went through just to have a better life. And now you’re saying that I have to move on?” My hollow voice was getting much deeper as I noticed that everyone else was backing away from me.
Some kind of dark shadow was coming out of me, causing many changes to my emotions and the way I thought.
…That's when I knew that something was gone within me.
“From the moment I met you, I always thought that you were strong. But being strong doesn't mean that you are invincible.”
With a calm, deep voice, I slowly looked at Kaito as I felt a burning sensation on my eyes.
At that moment, I couldn't understand what was happening to me, but that's when I knew that the last part of my human side was gradually disappearing.
Both the priest and the red haired girl were clenching their hands as their legs could be seen shivering. The proud part of their personality was being overwhelmed by fear, caused by my anger.
Kaito’s eyes widened in shock as he moved his hand near his sword, ready to wield it in case I would do something to them.
But in the end, it didn't matter what I would do. After showing my real form of emotions, this is how normal humans would react after seeing me… the real me!
They would act only based on how they feel…
In this case… by their fear!
“HIroki! Calm down bro! It doesn't have to end like this!!!” With the voice that was on the verge of breaking down, he moved his hand closer to the sword, ready to pull it out.
So he’s still trying to act friendly to me?
“T-that's right! We all did our best! And I’m sure that those girls wouldn't want you to feel this way!” Even after seeing the struggle of convincing me, the red haired girl tried easing the situation.
The same people that hated my guts still tried asking for mercy just from experiencing a bit of fear.
“Don’t you think that those girls would feel sad if you blame yourself for the things that couldn't be avoided?” The gray haired woman also added as she was clenching her own cloth with all of her strength. Her face showed not only signs of pity but also sadness as her hair gently blew from the wind.
The only one who didn't seem to respond at all was the priest girl who simply was looking at the girls laying on the ground, guilty of not being able to help.
“....”
What's the point of feeling guilty after not being able to help those who were injured?
Her only job as a priest was to help those who were injured, but she badly failed before she could even try.
“....”
Why does anything matter to me anymore?
If this world chooses to destroy what's innocent, then I shall kill everyone who was born in this world.
It doesn't matter how kind or innocent someone is. Someday, they all will end a criminal or die by the hands of these bastards.
If this is how this world works, then I might as well end it all.
“Hiroki!” While sweat was running down Kaito’s face, he had already moved into a fight position as I began moving towards him.
My vision was becoming much darker and I could feel myself growing much stronger than I have ever felt before.
I no longer felt anything, and the only thing that I wanted right now, was nothing else but destruction upon these living beings.
I couldn't understand if this was me making the decision or the ghost part of me, but I knew that ignoring these feelings will only drive me insane.
“Hiroki!! Please stop!!” Kaito called out to me as he didn't seem to have the heart to fight me.
The mist around me was growing thicker and denser and I could feel every living thing around this area.
None of them seemed to be moving from their position from the way the situation was flowing.
Was it because they were scared, or because they actually don't want to leave a monster like me wandering around?
Well, none of that matters anymore because they all will end up exactly like–
“...!!” Before I could get any closer to them, I sensed something land somewhere behind me.
The aura it was releasing was familiar to me, but right now I couldn't care less about it since it isn't releasing any killing intent.
Besides, nothing will be able to touch me in this form.
“Yawrr!!” That familiar presence seemed to be calling out to me, that's why I slowly turned my head around.
My vision, which had gotten narrow from the dark mist, suddenly faded away as I saw the silver dragon who helped me.
That dragon was staring at the girls which were laying down, sleeping on their internal beds.
A soothing sensation flew inside my body as I saw that both Aya and Theresa were showing signs of recovery.
The silver dragon was letting out drops of tears on top of injured girls. And just like magic… they all were recovering at top speed..
Their limbs were slowly regenerating, and her skin was becoming more colorful as blood was returning into their bodies.
Theresa’s skin was forming back, and her chest began moving up her down, showing first signs of breathing.
“They are… being healed?!” The priest wondered in a bit of confusion before she fell on her knees, praying at the sight in front of her.
“Emiko?” Kaito called out to her as slight tears could be seen from her eyes.
“I’ve heard a story of a dragon that could even revive the dead with its tears! But I never thought that the legend was true!” The priest said with tears on her eyes as a smile of hope appeared on her face.
“You don’t mean…” The red haired girls also added after realizing what kind of dragon that was.
“The legendary Silver Winged Dragon! The dragon that was considered to have challenged even a demi-god!” The gray haired girl camly explained after trying to forget how her body was shivering just a few seconds ago.
Even Kaito was surprised to see the legend of that kind of dragon as if he never knew about the existence of such dragons as this.
I immediately rushed back towards Aya and Theresa as I saw how their bodies were taking the shape of what would be considered… alive.

And just like their beautiful faces were still asleep, my senses calmed down once I picked up life from their bodies.
It was a feeling of hope that opened my eyes.
I didn't want to be alone! I didn't want to see them get hurt! I didn't want to leave me just like that.
They are everything I have in this world, and I don’t even want to think what will happen to me once I’m left alone.
Once the last parts of their bodies were fully regenerated, their bodies began twitching a little.
Both Theresa and Aya were breathing as they were about to wake up from a long dream.
My vision was slightly shaking at the sight of seeing the girls I love slowly regain consciousness. And even though I didn't have a heart, I felt the human side of me had hope of not making the same mistakes twice.
“They’re alive…” I said to myself in relief after confirming that they were alive..
The shadow which was covering me, was also gone.
I tried holding both of Aya’s and Theresa’s hands to see if they were warm.
They were alive! And it didn't take long before both of them slowly woke up.
“W-what happened?” Aya asked as her eyes wandered around in confusion.
The same goes for Thersa as well as she tried analyzing our current situation.
“Aya, you okay? I feel like I hit my head… and I can’t really remember what happened.”
Thersa also said as she got up and sat on her butt. Then she looked at Aya to make sure that she was perfectly safe.
“Y-you’re all s-safe.” I said as I leaned myself to their height so I could look closer at them.
“Hiroki? What’s wron–”
Even at this kind of moment, Aya was more worried about me rather than the fact that she was dead a few moments ago.
I couldn't resist but tightly hug Aya and Theresa at the sight of them being fine.
While they didn't expect me to hug them, I could feel the warmth of their bodies which was being transmitted towards me.
“W-w-wha!? What are you doing so suddenly!?” The embarrassed looking Theresa asked from my sudden reaction, a bit confused on why I was acting this way.
I was glad that they didn't know they were dead for some time. And I was glad that they all were the same as they used to.
The reason I was existing in this world had returned back to me, that's why from this moment on, I don't plan on letting them go!
“I’m so glad that you are safe! I'm so glad!” I continued saying to them, unable to cry or let out tears out of my eyes as if they were completely dry.
But my feelings for them were real, and that was never going to change.
“I don't know what would have happened if any of you died on me! I would never be able to forgive myself if you would die.” I continued saying to them as I gently rubbed their smoothe hair.
I expected Theresa to react more from the way I suddenly hugged her, but… both of these girls hugged me back as their heads leaned on my shoulders.
Everything that they were feeling was being transferred to me, and that thing alone made me feel like I was human again.
The only thing that made me remember what being a human was like, and what it felt like to be in love.
“We’re alright, so don't be too harsh on yourself.” Theresa softly smiled as her sweet scent was being transferred to my senses while a warm sensation was swallowing me whole.
I've never felt as happy, knowing that these two were alive…
“You are more amazing when you smile, so please don’t blame yourself.” From my other side, Aya also seemed worried about me as she scolded me for getting worried like that.
I continued hugging them with all of my might, without a care about Kaito and the three other girls who I was about to kill some moments ago.
While Kaito let out a relieved sigh, different emotions were going through the other girls.
But… I was glad that Aya and Theresa were alive.
Their warmth, their smell, the way they embraced me back, was what reminded me that I was still… me.
I felt frustrated and angry at the same time as I was unable to cry in this kind of moment. But the fact that two people had accepted me for who I am, gave me strength to stay sane.
….
…
..
.
Some time had passed since Aya and Theresa had woken up.
I wanted them to take some rest somewhere nearby, but they insisted on helping us search what was left from the shipwreck.
We buried the rest of the dead bodies, then collected any item and food that was still usable after the crush.
During the time we were doing this, none of us talked to one another unless it was related to any kind of information about the search.
But even so, I would notice glaces from Kaito or any of his girls.
I didn't feel guilty about the stuff that I said or was about to do to them, but I still wanted to apologize for that.
Thankfully, they didn't seem to hold any grudges against me.
Kaito seemed to start conversations about any random related subjects. And I was surprised to see that he was a calm guy to be around.
Even his women no longer showed any signs of hate or any ill intetlins, which surprised me a lot.
Meanwhile, the silver dragon had gotten a lot more comfortable around us. Especially around Theresa who didn't seem to separate from the silver dragon.
…
While we were on our way to Amberlight, we began noticing some dragons flying around the sky. Surprisingly, none of them attacked or seemed to have noticed us yet, that's why we decided to stay calm for the moment.
They all seemed like wyvers that attacked our ship, passing by or flying really quick in one direction.
“Everyone!” Kaito suddenly called out to us as if he had seen something really dangerous.
Even though Katio is really strong, I’ve never seen him that scared.
“What is i–” One of his women tried asking what was wrong, but before she could finish talking, we began hearing lots of birds flying away in horror as if something dangerous was coming.
Wind was blowing the leaves away, and more wyvers seemed to be flying in this territory.
"Above!!" I immediately looked up as I sensed a ridiculous aura coming towards here.
The sky was completely covered by a dark shadow with the shape of an incredibly sized dragon which with one flap of its wings, pushed away most of the wyverns.
“W-w-waht is that thing?!” Aya held Theresa’s hand in a worry as she was looking at that thing in the sky.
“That’s impossible…” Theresa reacted as a drop of sweat rolled down her face.
The other girls were either scared or unable to speak from the disastrous dragon that could squash down an entire town of humans with ease.
And as the massive dragon was coming towards us, it swallowed around 30 wyverns without a care.
It continued to fly past us until it landed some kilometers away from where we were standing.
Just from that dragon landing, the ground shook for a few seconds as if the whole terrain was deforming.
Its eyes glared from thousands of meters away as it was looking right straight at us.
"Art thou the ones who dare to enter mine territory?"
A deep, yet powerful voice of that dragon was heard in my head as its sharp vertical eyes stared at me.
“It's talking in my head?” The priest widened her eyes in shock as all of us were staring at that dragon.
Even though I couldn't receive any physical injuries, I felt an intense intuition that told me I wasn't a match for that dragon. And one wrong step, we would definitely disappear if that dragon decided to kill us all.
"We were simply passing through in order to get to the closest town. We didn't know that this place was your territory! We promise to leave if you tell your kind to not attack. " I responded back to that dragon.
Since I knew that we had a dragon by our side, I thought that this dragon wouldn’t find us a threat. And if this dragon was intelligent enough to speak to us like that, I’m sure that we can find a way out of this without having to fight that dragon.
"Thou expecteth to receiveth hence aft'r fooling with this daughtr of mine?"
Even though it was talking to us telepathically, its loud voice ringed inside our heads in anger.
This isn't a good sign…
I never expected that this silver dragon would be the daughter of that giant dragon. And from many games I have played, in none of them, characters survived from a boss-like dragon.
“Daughter? We don’t know what you’re talking about. We never fooled around with your daughter.” Kaito tried responding to the intimidating dragon after seeing how the girls beside him couldn't even talk from the presence of the dragon.
Wait, hasn't Kaito realized that this silver dragon is the daughter of that dragon? Or is he trying to act dumb?
"Stop playing games, weak ones. Thou expecteth to receiveth hence aft'r taming the daughr of mine own self?"
Taming? I never intended on taming a dragon in the first place, and I never received any skills about it.
But that doesn't matter right now. If we don't find a way to convince that dragon, Aya and Theresa won't be able to find a way out of this forest alive.
And, I won’t allow such a thing!
"We found your daughter aimlessly flying around a swarm of wvyvers who suddenly attacked our ship and your daughter. Your daughter helped us get away from that place, and I’m truly thankful about it.
And if you want someone to punish about this, then punish me. Those other humans over there have nothing to do with this." This may backfire on me, but I'm willing to take the risk if it means the safety of Theresa and Aya.
“Hiroki…” Kaito called out my name in guilt as he was unable to interfere against the dragon.
The aura around thay dragon continued to get denser to the point of making the rest of the wyverns panic in fear, but none of them dared to fly away.
"Foolish ghost! I shalt amerce thee and the rest of thy companions f'r ov'rstepping the angr of this dragon!"
Its eyes narrowed to slit as it began growling in anger.
It didn't seem to be listening anymore, and I could feel that it was about to release some kind of attack from its mouth.
Both Kaito and I, prepared to receive his attack as we knew that it would be impossible to doge one of its destructive attacks.
But before that thing could charge up its attack, the silver dragon beside us immediately walked in front of us and opened its wings, covering all of us.
I also created a small barrier with many rocks that I could see around in case that dragon would continue to shoot together with the silver dragon in front of us.
My chances of saving Aya and Theresa were getting low, but I wasn't going to give up.
The giant dragon closed its mouth and looked down on us as the silver dragon was using her own body in order to protect us from harm.
"Yelena? What is the meaning o' this?!"
The great dragon wondered as it saw its own daughter use herself as a meatshield.
Yelena simply looked at her own father before he started back at me.
His sharp eyes gazed at me, then a loud sigh that shook the trees reached us.
“I und'rstand… so yond's how t’ was…”
The massive dragon calmly lowered its neck as it tried getting a better look at us.
The silver winged dragon was also jumping around in excitement as it began licking Theresa and Aya.
“W-wah?! Calm down.” Theresa complained as her face was covered with saliva.
“W-what is happening? Are we safe?” Aya on the other hand seemed to have gotten a lot more playful with the silver dragon.
“My daughtr seemeth to has't taken a liking to thee. ”
Its voice had become more gentle from the way his daughter was acting around us.
“I shalt not lodge a punishment upon thee weak ones. Instead, taketh this daughtr of mineth in thy travelrs. Showeth hr the w'rld, teachest hr how nature w'rks, how foolish humans art. Yond shalt beest thy 'rd'r from me. ”
The deep voice of this massive dragon decided, releasing another breath from its nose.
“Then we’ll gladly take care of your daughter. We are thankful for sparing us.” I spoke back to the proud dragon who had made up its mind.
“You shouldst beest thankful to Yelena. She wast the one who is't did explain the whole st'ry to me. If 't wasn't f'r thee, she would’ve been within the effect of a mind c'rruption skill.”
So that's why this dragon decided to spare us.
As a favor of helping his daughter from that mind corruption skill, we were spared from being erased from existence.
But now, there is another question I have in mind…
Who could corrupt so many minds of different kinds of dragons at once?
“Mind corruption? So that's why that many wyvers attacked us.” Kaito also concluded.
“But is it even possible to corrupt thousands of wyverns' minds?” I tried asking the massive dragon, hoping I would get a response back.
“Yes, mine own self is looking fr the one who is't didst this to mine own kind. I shalt bringeth those folk destruction and teen to yond puny demon.”
The angered voice of that dragon deepened as its fangs were becoming visible from its anger.
