Ignoring his sassy system, Ellington started eating his food with gusto, moaning at every bite. As he ate, tears welled up in his eyes. It wasn't because the food was particularly delicious or anything, this was hospital food after all. No, the reason why he was so emotional was that he could eat it all.

This type of greasy food, or any food at all, would be impossible for him to consume in his old body. Before Zivot transmigrated him here, he had been drip-fed for a year. So being able to taste actual food again was a miracle in and of itself.

"Mmm, this is so good," Elli said around a mouthful of food. "I missed eating."

Once you leave this hospital, you can experience all types of good foods. If you want, I can recommend some places for you.

A wry smile spread across Elli's face. "Are you feeling bad for me? For someone who said I got no friends, it looks as though you want to be one."

It's called being nice, nothing more. A friendship between us wouldn't work. It's like a pet and its owner being friends. The power balance would be off.

"I love you, you love me," he singsonged, ignoring the cat's words as he chewed on a sausage. "Were a couple of best friends, can't you see?"

That's not even how it goes.

"I didn't think we were close enough for me to sing the original. But if you think otherwise..." Elli joked.

.... Don't talk with your mouth full.

Deciding that was enough teasing for now, Ellington continued eating his food, savoring every bite. Once he was finished, he pushed the over-bed table to the side and relaxed against the pillows, a satisfied grin on his face.

While contemplating what to do next, Ellington shifted on the bed, jarring his leg. The slight pain made him remember the situation at hand. Turning toward the cat, he asked, "So, can you fix my leg?"

Your leg will be fixed, but it will not be my doing. As a thank you for accepting to be transmigrated, Zivot has sent a special gift package, which he stored within me, for you to open. Inside of it, there will be something to heal your leg.

"Heal it how?" Elli questioned, feeling curious. He hoped it wouldn't be all at once. There would be questions he didn't know how to answer. They might even send him to a government facility to be studied.

It seems you have a flair for the dramatics. Good to know. But to put you at ease, you won't have to worry about that. The healing process won't be all at once.

As soon as Bluey finished speaking, a transparent white screen with a snowflake border appeared in front of him. A picture of a beautifully wrapped gift was inside.

Tap the gift to open it.

Ellington glanced at his system before returning his gaze to the screen. Sometimes he questioned if this was really real or if he was in a medically induced coma. It just seemed too fantastical. Like he was in a story, he came up with himself.

I wondered when the weariness would kick in. You were taking everything way too well. It made me question your common sense.

And with that, his doubt faded away. If this was a world he created for himself, he would never come up with such a system. Assured that this was real, Ellington reached out and tapped the screen. Like in a game, the present bounced twice on the screen before the lid popped off.

The gift screen faded, and something that appeared to be a game inventory appeared in front of him. Inside it, there were two items. Assuming he had to do what he did previously, he clicked on one of the items, only to be awestruck when it materialized on his lap.

"Candy?" Elli questioned as he picked up the box of assorted sweets that appeared. He knew they couldn't be normal ones after all a god sent them. Turning to Bluey, he asked, "What do they do?"

They are Zivot's healing sweets. Eat one chocolate every day for a week and your fracture will heal. However, your leg will still be broken. We don't need to bring any unnecessary suspicion to you. Next, you need to suck on one of the hard candies a day. They will speed your healing process so that it will only take three months until you're on your feet.

"That's awesome!" Elli exclaimed. That would save him some worry. Plus, he could keep the extra money the coach sends. 'I should have scammed more out of him.'

Moneygrubber.

Elli smiled with pride. "Who doesn't like money? It can buy things you want."

Well, I guess you will love the next item.

Curious about what the cat meant, Ellington clicked on the next item. Suddenly, what appeared to be some sort of voucher appeared in his hand. He could only look at Bluey with questioning eyes.

Rip it in half. The voucher will give you 500 points for my store.

Ellington's eyes lit up with recognition. "That's right, you mentioned you had a store yesterday when you were talking about..." Abruptly, he was reminded of something else. "I almost forgot, you're unlocked now. That means I have my attributes now! Can you show them to me? The ones you said I will receive after I named you?"

Instead of speaking, the cat waved its tiny paw and a screen similar to the other ones appeared. Besides his new name, there was a picture and some words next to it on the screen. As he stared at the original owner's face, the words became a blur.

There was only one word that could describe him, and that was exquisite.

From his lush silver hair that curled around small, rounded ears, which beautifully framed his pale ivory face. His almond-shaped eyes, which were bluish-gray in color, perfectly complemented his facial features. He looked as though he stepped straight out of a Webtoon. Ellington couldn't believe this face belonged to him now.

'How could someone with this face have no friends? It seems they must not appreciate beauty in this world.'

If you're quite done fawning over yourself. Check your attributes.

"R...right," Elli stuttered, snapping out of his trance before scanning the words on his profile.

There were five attributes Ice Skating Mastery, Creativity, Ability, Performance, and Perception. Each of the attributes had a number by it, which Ellington assumed was his skill level. However, besides a slight inkling, he really had no clue what the attributes were for. Helplessly, he glanced at his system.

Ice Skating Mastery should be obvious. Even for someone with your intelligence, it should be easy to figure out. It basically gives you mastery over the sport. However, it will be locked until you reach level 50 on the other attributes.

Elli nodded. That was the only one he had even a vague idea about. "Why is it locked?"

That's because mastery allows you to do more with the attributes. You'll be able to create new skating techniques, and as you progress, you will even be able to unlock special skating specialties.

"That sounds so cool!" Elli exclaimed before remembering something else. "What about the other four? What do they do?"

Creativity allows you to come up with new ideas for skating. You'll be able to develop your own style and even create routines that would leave the masses in awe.

Ability will allow you to improve your skating skills rapidly. Through practice and repetition, you will master the sport quicker than most.

Performance lets you show off your skill on the ice. It lets the audience experience what you want to convey more deeply. If you level it up high enough, they will be able to visualize the scene you're trying to show.

Perception lets you analyze possible moves on the ice skating rink while performing under great pressure. It allows you to have a better understanding of any form of art that might be beneficial to expressing artistry in ice skating.

"I understand most of them, but I'm a little confused about perception," Elli said once the system was finished. "By possible moves, did you mean like all the other moves?"

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. Perception allows you to see all of the possible moves and take them into account while performing under pressure.

“Will I become aware of everything that is happening on the ice?"

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. With Perception at level 50, you will be able to visualize the entire rink and make incredibly accurate moves. Any more questions?

Ellington had a look of astonishment on his face as he shook his head. Those were really some high-level cheats. Better than anything he could have imagined.
