Alan already knew what he was talking about so he nodded and said, "Wait for me in the study room. I'll be there in half an hour."
Later in the study room, Yasuo looked around. The room was simple and even a little crude. There was just a bookshelf with not many books in it, a table and a few chairs.
There was a stack of documents on the table. He picked up one and casually flipped through it. It was related to some merchant treaty that connected Staffordshire with the nearby countries. These documents were not that important in Alan's eyes so he knew that he wouldn't mind even if he read them.
When Alan entered the room, Yasuo kept the file back and didn't beat around the bush.
"When you were talking with the old guard Sam about Tessa accompanying Amy to the capital. I felt really weird. It's kind of hard to explain the feeling but at that time, I felt that I was forgetting something important."
Alan approached the table and sat on the man chair. He slowly said, "It's related to your memory loss of the past few months. This is also the reason Amelia and Mellisa are so worried about you."
Yamasaki was stunned. Actually he still didn't know how Eric died. He just thought that young Eric didn't share the memory with him. It was just his excuse for not delving into another death. He was fed up and scared of it.
But he actually didn't have any memories of the last few months? He frowned and tried to recall it.
He started to feel dizzy and felt a sharp headache. His face became completely pale. It was as if he fell into a whirlpool of confusion and suffocation.
At that moment, an unknown energy flowed through his body giving him relief from the pain.
When he was back to his senses, he saw Alan standing beside him with his hand on his shoulder.
Alan said in a flat tone, "Don't try to recall for now. I will do something about this."
Yasuo nodded.
Then seeing that Alan was not speaking anymore, Yamasaki was about to leave when he heard his mocking voice, "trash."
"Huh?"
"You still didn't notice the speciality of your body?"
Yamasaki hesitated and shook his head.
Besides his good looks and a slightly big dick, he didn't find anything special about his body. Actually he was too depressed to notice anything. But Alan didn't care about his troubles. He only cared about the result.
Alan frowned and waved his hand to shoo him away.
Before he left, he got another instruction.
"Today onwards, I want you to go to the forest in the south of the city."
Yamasaki didn't go out that day. He was too lethargic to move.
The evening next day, he had no choice but to go out as his father personally came to send him off.
He wanted to complain to his mother but a knock on his head was enough to shut him up. That man's hand felt a goddamn rock.
The forest named Trigroove covered a huge area from south to west of the city. It was quite safe even for normal people as long as they didn't go deep in it.
Yamasaki planned to take the official road and return back after roaming around a bit.
But after some time, he went into a daze and when he was back to his senses, it was night and he was somewhere in the forest.
He took a deep breath and tightened his thick coat. He was neither fearful nor anxious, he was just tired.
He looked up. The tree's canopy was too thick for the moonlight to pass and illuminate the area. So he bent down and tried to find a broken branch.
After some time and effort, he finally found one stick and then started to walk in a random direction while using the branch like a blind man.
He made up his mind not to leave the manor even if Alan beat him up. He'd just cry in front of his mother and let her take action.
After an unknown time, he finally found an open area. He saw a huge broken rock with unknown glyphs on it. He stepped closer to it and examined it in curiosity.
He recalled some rumors in the city. Many times, people got lost in the forest and were nowhere to be found. It was weird as they never ventured deep in the woods.
After a few days, they would appear at the edge of the forest in complete daze and with no memory. Fortunately they were all safe and sound.
Only a few of them had some faint memory. They had seen a broken rock with something written on them.
Yamasaki muttered, "so you wanted me to see this."
But he of course couldn't understand anything. There were also some glyphs on the edge that had faded with time.
He didn't want to waste much time in this place. He was worried that his mother would lose her soul if he exited this place with the usual method; that is exit it automatically after a few days.

He looked around, hesitated for a bit, and said out loud, "Are you there?"
He was talking to the unknown observer.
He didn't know if this would work but when he saw a black figure with a cloth mask walking out of the forest, he sighed in relief.
When the observer–who almost made him lose his mind in the first few days–came closer to him. He was stunned.
Under the bright moonlight, the observer's green eyes had a sparkle to them. Yasuo was dazzled. He had never seen someone with such mesmerizing eyes.
He suppressed his curiosity over this person's appearance hidden under the cloak.
There was silence in the surrounding. The figure in black silently looking at him made him feel uncomfortable.
He pointed at the rock and managed to break the atmosphere.
"Can you understand these symbols?"
His observer stepped closer to the rock and after sometime shook their head.
Yasuo sighed and said, "I guess you also don't know the way out."
The response was still the same.
Then Yamasaki started to rummage in his pockets, hoping to find something useful.
Unsuccessful, he turned to ask the figure in black, "do you by chance have a paper and a pen?"
After that he sat cross legged and started drawing the glyphs carefully on the paper.
But when he looked at the huge rock again, his expression became blank. In his eyes, the glyphs started to flow in a particular rhythm on the rock that had transformed into a human-like figure.
After an unknown period of time, Yamasaki woke up from his daze. The rock and the glyphs looked the same. It was as if what he saw was just an illusion. He rubbed his brows and asked to particular no one in a low voice, "How much time has passed?"
He received a reply from beside him. It was a female's voice, cold yet pleasing to the ears.
"An hour has passed."
He turned to look at his observer who handed over a piece of paper. She had drawn the glyphs in an orderly manner.
Then Yasuo resumed his journey in the dark forest, this time with a visible partner.
They soon found a small pond with clear water. Yamasaki immediately laid down on the grass surrounding the pond. He was really exhausted. The softness of the ground made him so comfortable that he almost fell asleep.
The night sky was filled with myriads of stars. One of the stars suddenly glowed brightly, so brightly that it overshadowed the moon's brilliance for a moment. It dimmed afterwards and then completely lost its shine.
This woke up Yamasaki out of his drowsiness as he muttered, "there's another fight."
He couldn't help but remember the tall man in white, Dior. He recalled Dior's first slash.
He held his sword up high and cut down, a simple looking strike yet it slashed everything in its way. With a few strikes, he destroyed anything that the old bastard sent at him, the same devil who had easily played with a man named Yamasaki Yasuo.
He murmured in a daze, "is it possible for me to become at least half of that?"
He heard a voice beside him, "Yes. Everything is possible as long as you have a sword in your hand."
Hearing her, Yasuo stood up and turned to look at her with a bright gaze and said with a brilliant smile, "Okay, let's quickly go home."
At that time, a wisp of fire was ignited in the darkness. Though not enough to illuminate everything, nevertheless it was still a source of light.
Fortunately soon they left the forest and the female observer also went into hiding. After that, Yasuo quickly went to the Bodwyn manor.
When he entered the lobby, the atmosphere there was heavy. The attendants had anxious expressions on their faces. Then he saw his mother crying pitifully.
At first he thought that it was because of him but quickly found out that something was wrong.
He sat beside her and held her hand. Seeing her son return, the woman in blue tears actually increased, making his heart ache.
Then she said something that chilled even his soul.
"Er-Eric, someone actually attacked our Amy. She's–"
