**Announcement! I am extremely sorry it took this long. From Christmas, until now, I was often ill, and currently my first semester is ending. All this caused me to not have any control when I write, and when I had the chance, writers block suddenly appeared. Again, I am very sorry for the holdup on my part. Thank you, to everyone who reads my story.**

POV: Pearl Chauvet

Kore was sad. I knew it. I didn't even have to see it, because when I heard her say those words, a feeling struck that she was sad.

I turned to her, and said, while trying to sound as comforting as possible "Then, please don't look. I will take carebof this. You won't need to be hard on yourself for this.

My hand instincually went to her cheek, in order to brush over it, but I remembered that I had spikes connected to one of my hands, and a lantern in the other.

I smiled again, and then went inside the room, as the smile covering my face dissapeared.

I didn't want Kore to hear the pups yelp, as the will be penetrated by my spikes. So I decided to instead hit them with all I had, and kill them all at once.

I turned the spikes into rings with blades on the innermost side, five precisely, for the four pups, and the female wolf guarding them.

I then jumped with all my might and speed over them, and controlled the spikes to encircle all of their necks.

They made almost no sound, other than the one when their bodies hit the floor of the cave.

I walked to their bodies, and sucked up the blood that was leaking from their bodies.

After doing that, I returned to Kore, and asked her "Are you okay, Kore? Do you need to talk?"

Her answer went as follows: "No, thank you. I just... don't feel comfortable with killing younger animals. It's a bit... personal, I, umm, guess"

Personal issues. How many of us don't have any? Either way, I expected this to happen. "Of course, I would never force you to say something you don't want to."

I said this as I gave her a hand to help her stand up. She took it, and then we were ready to go.

It was a succesful mission. At least we will have some money. Now the only thing I am in dire need of, is time to think things through. Some things are very confusing to me.
