April 19th, 2000 [11:10 PM, Academy Basement]
It had been nearly an hour since they first entered the basement. They've been sitting on top of a crate for quite some time. They turned off their flashlights so they wouldn't waste the batteries.
"I'll try to look for an exit, again," Hyuri suddenly spoke.
"No need. I've already called for help."
Hyuri just stared at him. Who did he call for help and when, Hyuri thought. They sat in silence. Hyuri needed water soon.
Step! Step! Step! Step!
Footsteps. This time it was coming from inside the basement. Hyuri jumped off the crate they were sitting on.
"Hey, over here-!!"
"...Hyuri wait!"
Woosh!
Something scraped Hyuri's cheek. Some sort of blade. He felt blood fall from the wound.
"Light Resonance: Luminous Break!"
Suddenly a light filled the once dark abyss of the basement. Their eyes adjusted to the bright light which filled the entire basement.
"Who-"
Hyuri was cut off by being punched into a nearby wall. His back hit the concrete wall.
"Hyuri!"
Ezra turned in the direction of where he heard the shout. He scanned it thoroughly. Nothing. He saw no one. It would be hard to find anyone in this space even with light.
"Where'd he go?!
The basement wasn't just a moderate-sized room filled with old junk. Ezra figured this out a few minutes ago. It was a whole other dimension they stepped into.
It was of a nearly infinite size which was why they had gotten lost so easily. These types of dimensions took a long time to make even if a Divine Being created them.
Ezra had no names in mind for the creator of this specific dimension. But he knew what it was called.
Raum der Unendlichkeit, the space of infinity. It was given this name due to its immense size.
Ezra still scanned around everywhere in his sight range. Suddenly, all he saw was a pure white light. Nothing else in sight. He looked at his hands. Himself was the only thing he saw.
"What the hell..."
He wasn't floating. He felt a floor beneath his feet. But he couldn't see it. He slowly began to feel sleepier by the second. He fell to his knees. His eyes beginning to close themselves.
He no longer felt anything. He landed on his frontside and fell into slumber.

[11:45 PM, Raum der Unendlichkeit]
"Hey, Ezra! Wake up!" Hyuri yelled as he shook Ezra violently.
He was out cold. Hyuri couldn't wake him up now. He sighed as he tried to lie him down on a nearby crate.
"Where did that guy go?!" He muttered, angrily.
He searched left and right for the one who had sent him flying into the wall. Hyuri had no idea they were in another dimension. He did not know about it.
Step! Step! Step!
More footsteps. This time he saw the cause of them. A cloaked man. It was Gabriel, no, it was someone else. Someone new. He didn't know who it was.
"So, it seems you've stepped into the Raum der Unendlichkeit on accident," said the man.
But it wasn't a man. It was a boy a year or two older than Hyuri.
Hyuri stepped back, not knowing what he'd do.
"You must be the one Gabriel mentioned. You look a bit more fragile than I imagined."
Hyuri's stood still, a blank expression shrouding his face, as he remembered his encounters with Gabriel.
"You're with him?!"
With no hesitation, he conjured his usual sword of choice, a black claymore.
"You always settle things with a fight you can't win, Hyuri."
Yeah but this time I have Fafnir with me, he told himself.
"I don't care if you have no interest in hearing it, but I shall give you my name," the boy said.
"All right, go on," Hyuri responded.
"Royce Hernandez."
He unsheathed a sword and held it in front of him. Hyuri got into his stance.
"Bring it on, Hyuri!"

April 20th, 2000 [12:05 AM, Food Court]
Two students stood in the food court of the now-lit school. Two boys. Though they weren't strangers. Iker Kazama and Kaizu Kirigashi.
"Why are the lights on?" Kazama asked.
"As if I know. I just got told by Ezra he was in trouble."
They walked a few steps leaving the food court. Then, an all-black figure stood at the exit.
"Who are you?" Kaizu asked.
The figure didn't respond. Instead, it turned around and began to walk away.
"Maybe we should follow it," Kazama proposed.
"Alright. Let's do that then."

[12:10 AM, Raum der Unendlichkeit]
I just stood still breathing heavily, my black claymore in my right hand. The guy in front of me, Royce Hernandez, wielded what seemed to be an average greatsword. We'd been clashing blades for what felt like five minutes.
I shot at him again. This time instead of a sweeping motion, I charged through the air with the tip pointed at my target.
Surely, I could do some damage to him. Instead, of the feeling of going through flesh, the tip was met with a barrier.
"Dammit," I muttered.
I jumped back. As I expected, he tried to land a counter-attack on me. This time I didn't charge directly. I began to run around him in a circle.
I ran faster and faster. My peripheral vision was getting more blurry each time I picked up the pace. Then, I swung my sword vertically to try and hit the sword out of his hand. Or at least loosen his grip.
He didn't give up. He raised his blade upward with great strength that it nearly knocked me backward. His sword flew in a diagonal arc downward. I parried the blade just in time before it made contact with me.
"Your swordsmanship is admirable, Katsuyo. Just at the mere age of 13, you're able to keep up with me," he told me.
"I've had some training."
Now, was no time to chat though. I either had to make this guy surrender or injure him into submission. I took a deep breath.

"Karai: Ao!" I shouted.
I felt a small amount of pressure near my eyes. But now hopefully I could outspeed him. I looked for an opening. None. I had to make one myself.
I ran straight at him, hoping my plan would work.
"You're running at me head-on?!"
"Not exactly."
At the last second, I moved out of the way and sliced his side
"You little..."
I landed a hit. Now, I just had to land a few more critical hits. But to make it easier I needed another sword. I conjured another sword in my left hand. I was set.
"Sword Style: Dual Blade Rush!"
I shot at him with my blades overlapping each other in an X-shape. I heard the air around me roaring as I shot through it.
"Aura Barrier: Level 1."
I felt the blades hit an invisible barrier. The impact ran up my arm.
RAAHH!!!
Sparks flew all over. Some got into my face, but I didn't mind. I just had to put more weight into the blades themselves.
"Let's go, Fafnir!!"
"Fafnir..?"
It was time to finally use some of Fafnir's power.
"Lightning Resonance: Armament Infusion!"
I infused some of my energy in both blades. I struck the invisible barrier. Up, down, left, right. Diagonally, vertically, horizontally. Every direction possible.
"That won't-"
The barrier broke. Yes! I dropped one of my blades and punched him into a wall.
"Thank you, Fafnir."
He stood up as if he felt no pain. I picked up my sword and got into a stance.
"That hurt a bit," he said sounding confident.
I was puzzled. Surely, I had done some damage. Once again, I readied both swords.
"Here we go again, Fafnir."
Suddenly, I felt some sort of pressure all over my body. I also felt something swirl around me- My Aura. It became more and more visible. It was golden. Fafnir was helping me in this fight. I had to win now.
"Divine protection is just a factor. Will you be able to wield that power in your favor?"
I paused for a few seconds.
"Sword Style: Dual Lightning Rush!" I shouted as I shot through the air again.
Instead of both blades at the same time, I struck down with my left sword. There was no barrier now. I sliced his chest diagonally. Blood slowly fell from the wound.
Both of my blades became fully infused with Lightning Aura. I struck again with my left this time horizontally across his stomach. He didn't move.
Or was it, he couldn't?
I struck down with my right. It hit his previous wounds.
"...Aghh!!"
I stepped back. He collapsed onto the floor. He couldn't move, but he was breathing heavily.
"I c-can't move!!" Royce screamed, obviously in pain.
I stumbled onto a crate. I was worn out even though it wasn't a long battle.
The swords that were once infused with a bright light were now sheathed behind my back. I felt all the pressure fade away along with the two swords and sheaths.
I wiped away the sweat on my forehead with my sleeve. My black hair was nearly drenched with sweat.
"You were able to channel its energy into the swords. Impressive," he was barely able to speak.
I glanced my gaze at him for a quick second. I remembered his face. He was one of the eight missing students. I had to ask questions, now.
I stood in front of him as he sat on the floor, his back against one of the plentiful crates. I could finally ask him some questions about what was going on.
"Royce. I have some questions to ask you," I said with a bold tone.
"Ask away then."
I was thinking of which to ask first. About Gabriel, about Drew's death, or the missing students?
"So, what happened with the eight students that went missing?!"
He hesitated for a second, "They've found a new life with Gabriel in the Underworld. They promised to fight on his side if they got whatever they wanted in return."
Why would Gabriel need teenagers to do his work, I thought.
"Now, if you want me to-"
An arrow shot through his chest, right where his heart is. He fell forward. I kicked him a bit. My eyes widened. He was dead.
I heard laughing coming from behind me. A familiar laugh. He was here.
"I can't have some traitor leak all of my plans, can I?"
I turned around. The one and only, Gabriel. He stood with both hands in his pockets.
"You'll have to figure this all out on your own, Hyuri," he told me, smirking.
He extended his palm. The area began to shake. Soon the space around began to break like glass.
"This is my power!" He yelled.
It felt like reality itself was being destroyed. Then, everything faded to black.

Kaizu and Kazama found both of them laying unconscious. They walked toward them.
"Maybe we should take them back," Kaizu said.
"We should."
