The sky was clear. Not a cloud in sight. Hyuri and his friends were making use of the day to train.
"Can we take a break now?! It's been an hour and a half!" Kensho complained.
"Not yet," Hyuri responded.
"Kensho's right dude. We should take a break," Rei entered the conversation.
"Alright. I guess we can take a break."
The girls watched them from a bench. Haruka walked up to Hyuri. She grabbed his arm.
"Hey, Haruka-!" He said getting pulled away by Haruka.
"Aww, look at those two," Hikari said.
They walked into the forest. This forest surrounded the Academy. It was restricted past 8 PM.
"What happened?" Haruka asked, softly.
"What do you mean?" Hyuri said.
"I know something happened. What was it?"
Hyuri was fine. He wondered if Haruka was overreacting.
"Haruka it's nothing. Trust me," he said trying to assure her.
Haruka looked convinced. They walked back to the others.
"Where were you two?" Hikari asked, teasingly.
"We were just talking about something," Hyuri replied. "Anyway, I am going to go do something. See you later."
He walked off. They didn't know where he was going or why.
Hyuri's POV
Today, Kaizu said he'd help me train. So I can be ready for harder challenges that come my way. So, I accepted.
"Ready for your first day of training?"
"Yes, I am."
"Alright. Let's begin our spar match. You go first."
I nodded my head and charged toward him. My fist became engulfed in electricity. I threw a punch. Kaizu caught it. He lifted me by my hand and kicked me. I landed on my feet.
"Karai: Aoi!" I shouted.
I could feel a bit of pressure in both of my eyes, but it didn't bother me. I knew why my eyes felt that way. A technique passed down for generations in my bloodline. I ran at Kaizu, but this time faster. The Karai: Aoi made me move faster than my usual self. I jumped up about 10 feet in the air.
"Lightning Resonance: Electric Surge!" I yelled.
I shot lightning out of my hands. Kaizu just deflected it with an Aura shield. My feet hit the ground.
"Is that all?"

I ran at him. He threw a punch. I dodged right before it could hit me. I felt the Aura radiating off his fist. That would've hurt. We exchanged punches multiple times. They hurt me, but I didn't know if they even hurt him.
"Time out!"
"Huh. Why?
"Hyuri. You have to be more... focused. You need to be completely focused on the fight. Nothing must distract you."
"Hm..."
He made a hand motion to call me over.
"Just stand still and close your eyes."
I did as he told me. I closed my eyes. A few seconds passed and I felt a strong impact on my forehead and chest.
"You can open your eyes now."
I opened my eyes. Wondering what happened.
"I opened your Sacred Mind."
"Sacred Mind? What's that?" I asked.
"There's no easy way to explain it. You'll figure it out soon. Today's short session is over. Go on back and take a nap."
I nodded and walked off.
3rd Person POV
Hyuri stood there. Looking around the dark room. He couldn't see anything. He tried feeling around him for anything in the room. Nothing.
"Where am I?" he asked the dark and empty space.
There was no response. There was only an echo. A bright light emerged out of nowhere. The light hurt his eyes.
"Hello, mortal," a feminine voice told him.
He looked up at the light. The light took the form of a beautiful young woman with long light-purple hair.
"Who are you?!" Hyuri asked the woman.
"I am the gatekeeper of the Sacred Garden. The garden has been linked to your mind and soul via a Mind Link technique."
He realized this was what Kaizu meant.
"So where are we?
"Your mind, Hyuri. Your friends are attempting to wake you. We'll meet later."
Hyuri woke up. His roommates around him.
"You're awake!" Rei shouted
