The Beastmaster

Connor Shaw and his parents Timothy and Alexandra Shaw were among the first batch of scientists and colonists sent to explore and inhabit what was called the Realm of Life. This realm was the first known realm linked to Earth through a portal on Earth in 2030. However, 3 months after being sent, together with another 2 batches of colonists, the Realm of Life was suddenly lost and it's connection to Earth severed!

Scientists on Earth speculated that it was due to the movement and alignment of planets, but the colonists were given up for dead as none of the scientists could speculate if and when the Realm of Life would ever be linked to Earth again

But since then, many other realms had appeared, bringing both humanoids from other realms as well as monsters that wreaked havoc on Earth. Humanoids including Elves, Dwarves, Orcs etc had started suddenly appearing as well as Dragons, Trolls, Giants and many other monsters and alien creatures only thought of in fantasies had started appearing

Due to the radiation from other planets, about 1% of Earth's population developed powers beyond that of ordinary beings. These became known as the Defenders, charged with protecting the Earth from these extra terrestrial threats

The introduction of these realms also weakened the borders between the spiritual world and the physical world, and creatures of myths and legends, and even legacies of legendary heroes and ancient Gods had started appearing

One day, a portal surprisingly opened unexpectedly and a young man stepped out of it, together with a large pack of 20 wolves. He was muscular, with wild long hair and a thick beard, wearing only a loincloth. The portal appeared in the midst of a battle between the human Defenders and an alien race and though disoriented, he quickly picked a side and joined the forces of mankind
