Kai found a man and a woman behind him. When they saw his sword appearing, they also summoned an ice arrow and a fireball.
"What do you want?" Kai asked without hiding his anger.
"Sorry, we just reacted without thinking. We mean no harm," A tall, black-haired man said. "We aren't here to fight, and we just thought of calling you to hide in that building over there. The monsters can't feel our presence if we are behind many walls."
"That is a lovely invitation, but I am not interested," Kai said and then turned and left. "See ya."
Kai didn't have time to lose, so he kept heading south, and after finding some survivors, he became more alert for the approach and presence of others. Thanks to that, he felt some eyes on him here and there…
Around that time, he noticed that the sound of gunshots had decreased, but the sound of the sirens still was going. That couldn't be a good sign for the police officers.
"A gun is too noisy, and if I level up a few times, I can tell that the Sword Materialization will become stronger than bullets," Kai thought while summoning one and hitting the asphalt, leaving a small mark. "Still, it is worth checking what happened there. If anything, I am bound to find more monsters due to all the noise."
Kai turned West again and began to see a lot of smoke spreading. By some miracle, the cars that collided didn't explode after turning upside down many times, but other buildings were on fire for whatever reason.
Moving inside the smoke curtain could give him some surprises that could be exciting, but Kai only wanted the ones that he could see from a distance. Making the surprises suddenly appear in front of him wouldn't be that fun…
After crossing the road, Kai confirmed that the cars of the cops were on his left side, and their bodies had been spread across the area. Some bees were heading south, while others were flying to check the high floors of the buildings.
"Are they heading to their base?" Kai thought.
Kai decided to follow them silently, and they didn't notice him when he was fifty meters away. However, some red bees left the buildings on the right side, and they made a noise that alerted the others.
"Annoying worms…" Kai said and then charged at the closest beasts.
They charged at him as well, and Kai used the swords to hit those that tried to surround him. They were killed in a single instant, and then he began to smash the head of the final one with his bat. After the fourth hit, the creature fell, and the bat cracked.
"What a junk… oh well," Kai said and then shrugged. "When you want a job well done, you have to do it yourself."
When the group that was moving away approached. Kai walked backward while he aimed and shoot the swords at the enemies. Two of them were a bit far away, and he managed to avoid them… making Kai realize that he couldn't keep that much distance. He slowed down a bit and then kept attacking and slowly but surely killed them one by one.

Kai used the free point in magic since it would let him fight against more enemies. The excitement of leveling up was even more amazing than fighting. The feeling of power passing through his veins made him feel alive like never before. He smirked like he had felt the taste of the sweetest honey… still, he forgot about that when he heard the sound of the wings of a bee.
After looking around and not finding anything, Kei realized that the creature was so big that it probably was making that noise while it was one hundred or so meters away. Eventually, the giant bee appeared at the next crossroads of that avenue. It was one hundred meters away, but it was two meters tall… the sting was almost the size of the dragon slayer.
"How many humans with classes have that thing killed already?" Kai wondered. "Five or even more?"
If they get at least twenty percent stronger each time they feed on humans with classes, that thing must be at least three times stronger than an ordinary red bee. Facing it now would be too dangerous… but Kai could only think about how exciting that would be. The danger factor didn't even cross his mind.
"I need to kill it before other monsters approach… it is clear that they are heading to their base while they pass through here," Kai thought.
Kai was also curious why they were returning to their base so soon when not even half an hour had passed since the meteors had fallen… maybe all that blood that they had drunk wasn't to feed them…
"I can worry about that later," Kai said and then dashed toward the monster. "You aren't going to feed your queen, and you are going to feed me."
Once again, it didn't take long for the creature to feel Kai's presence. He thought that the beast had obtained enough food for its queen, but the creature still thought that one more would be fine.
The beast suddenly dashed toward Kai at a fearsome speed. When Kai fired the first sword, the monster zigzagged and then dodged it… in order not to waste mana, Kai waited until the beast was five meters away and then fired a sword that hit the monster's head, but that didn't slow down the creature…
