Chapter 18: Chapter 17. Little Garden Is Near

"Is she the new member of our group?" Nojiko asked, curiously looking at the petite girl.

"No, she is my subordinate and a person who would stay in the first half of the Grand Line," Alex replied calmly, eating the meat of that whale.

It was already evening and now, everyone had woken up and taken showers once again to clean themselves. After that, Nojiko cooked dinner for everyone.

Vivi and Igaram still looked at Miss Valentine with a suspicious gaze. Though it keeps reducing as they could see the fear in her eyes, not the fake one. 

"Are you going to take over that organization?" Kaya asked with an excited smile as she kinda liked the idea of having an organization under them.

"The top members wouldn't agree to work under you, Alex, even if you threaten them," Vivi said with an anxious expression, not wanting him to get such subordinates who might betray him in the future.

Alex chuckled slightly with an amused expression. "Don't worry about it. I have my ways to make them submit to me." He wasn't worried about the betrayal of such weak people.

Vivi still looked a little worried however she didn't pursue the matter anymore. Instead, she began to enjoy the delicious meat that even as a princess, she had never eaten in her entire life. 

Tashigi and Nami didn't say anything about it as their thoughts were completely different from the other crew members. Nami wanted to make those people work so they could earn money for her while Tashigi wanted to get rid of them as they might have harmed so many innocent people.

Mikita also began to eat her share of food, trying to not think much about the different gazes that were on her. Honesty, she was quite scared however since the captain was with her, she believed that no one would think of harming her.

After the dinner was over, everyone went into their respective rooms except for Mikita, Nojiko, Kaya and Alex. Alex used his powers to move the ship as Nami had already given him the direction where he needed to move the ship.

"You can all go back. I need to go to that island once again." Alex said to them and began to float in the air. Before flying away, he turned to look at Nojiko. "Give her a room to stay in. She'll be staying with us for some days." Saying that he flew back to Whiskey Peak.

"What is he going to do there?" Kaya curiously asked, looking at the figure of Alex who was getting away.

"Who knows? We'll never be able to understand even half of his actions." Nojiko replied with a carefree tone and then turned to look at the new girl. "Come with me, Mikita. I'll take you to your room." She grabbed her hand and began to walk inside the ship. Kaya also followed them behind, making small conversation with the new girl.

Alex on the other hand was now flying above Whiskey Peak. He looked around the town and headed toward the other side where those cactus-like mountains were present.

Taking out a sword from his system storage, he slashed multiple times, cutting away those mountains. After that, he put away the sword and began to use his devil fruit power to remove the remnants of those mountains from the ground.

"It looks quite wonderful now." He smiled slightly and then began to use his powers to lift the entire island into the sky. Slowly, it began to float higher in the sky before disappearing from his eyes. "With this, I have gotten my first territory. Now, it only needs some people to make it adequate for living."

With his work done here, he decided to head back to the ship, not paying any attention to the giant mountains which were now drowning in the sky, creating large waves.

In the early morning, the group went to the island to train after having breakfast. Landing on the island, they noticed another island which was flying some distance away from them.

"Are you gonna create an empire or something like that?" Kaya walked toward him, her eyes shining in excitement.

"I plan on doing that." Alex nodded at her words, making the girls quite happy except for Vivi, Igaram and Mikita who were quite shocked by this idea.

"I will be the Empress and you'll be my Emperor….." Kaya excitedly said and hugged his arm, thinking about their happy future.

"Hey, you can't be the Empress!!" Nojiko angrily spoke and hugged his other arm, pushing it between her breasts. "I'm the first crew member so of course, I'll be the Empress." She looked quite smug when she mentioned that she was the first person to join him.

Everyone was speechless at her words. Was she unaware of what it means to be an Empress? Even Nami felt the shame of being her sister right now.

"What are you saying, you dumb girl? What does it matter whether you joined first or last?" Kaya looked at her with a mocking smile. "I took the first step with him so it makes sense for me to become the Empress." She proudly mentioned her relationship with him much to Nojiko's irritation.

"You both are wasting a lot of time, you know." Alex suddenly spoke in a calm tone, making them silent immediately. "I will be the one who'll choose the Empress and there will be multiple Empresses, ruling the empire with me."

His words immediately calmed them. Igaram nodded at him as there was nothing wrong with strong people having a lot of wives. The other girls were now lost in their thoughts after hearing his words.

"Mikita, Vivi and Igaram will continue their everyday training while the rest of you will be fighting against me today." He explained the plan to everyone, much to their surprise. "You all need to fight with people with haki which would help you to improve your haki rapidly.

The trio immediately separated from the group and went to their respective places to start their training once again while the rest of them began to talk among themselves, trying to create a strategy to fight him however in the end, they couldn't come up with anything so they decided to fight him head-on while trying to save each other.

"By the way, none of you are allowed to use your devil fruit powers. Only Kaya will use her healing powers except that nothing is allowed." Alex calmly reminded them to which they all nodded with a serious expression.

"Since you all are now ready, come at me." He grinned at them with a ferocious smile, making them shudder in uncertainty.

Another 3 days have passed since the ship began to move once again. They were now quite close to the island that was being pointed by the Log Pose.

In these three days, everyone once improved by a large margin including Mikita who was now able to use Kami-E and Moonwalk using her devil fruit powers. Her control over the devil fruit improved a lot along with her physical powers.

The Haki training of the crew was going smoothly as well. Fighting against a master of Haki proved very beneficial for them as they kept developing very fast.

Vivi and Igaram were also getting physically stronger. Igaram's control over his new devil fruit improved as well, allowing him to fly in the air like Buggy.

Since he knew that the next island was quite close, he decided to stop their training and let them rest so they could prepare themselves to fight those two Giants found on that island.

After everyone landed on the ship, the girls immediately went to take a long shower, dragging Mikita with them as well who wasn't willing to go with them, alas, no one cared about her thoughts.

"Hmm?" Alex suddenly felt a big presence heading toward his ship. "Is it that ship eater fish?" He curiously looked at the sea where that fish was present.

Taking out the sword from his system storage, he raised it a little above his shoulders and slashed at the sea, creating a flying slash which instantly cut the sea along with the giant fish hidden in it.

"Today's breakfast is going to be this fish." He smiled lightly and used his powers to make the dead fish float in the air. He cut some part of it while the rest of the meat was put inside the system storage by him along with the sword.

"Y-You really are a mons……forget it." Igaram wanted to say something however when he thought about the multiple feats that Alex showed him, this seemed nothing compared to them.

"If you have free time to waste then take this fish inside the kitchen so Nojiko can prepare this for breakfast," Alex spoke in a bored tone and threw the fish meat on him causing him to catch it hurriedly.

"I want to eat this too…"Saying that Igaram immediately walked inside the ship in a delighted mood.

Alex simply shook his head and used his powers to bring a tangerine toward himself. Peeling it off, he sat on the sofa and began to eat it while looking at the island which was now quite visible even to the naked eyes.

After some time, the girls came out of the ship, wearing new clothes and looking refreshed. Though Nojiko wasn't with them as she was now preparing breakfast for everyone.

Kaya left the girl's group and walked toward him before sitting right next to him. "How long will it take for us to reach the Arabasta Kingdom? Vivi is quite worried about her father who might get attacked by that Crocodile guy."

"Tell her to not worry about that. Even Crocodile isn't stupid to kill the king so easily. I'm sure, he wouldn't want the World Government to pay special attention to his worthless existence." Alex replied with a carefree expression. Crocodile wouldn't kill that old man so soon and even if that old man dies, it is still better for Alex since he would be able to control that kingdom via Vivi.

"Are there still some places left that you want to visit before heading directly to Arabasta?" Kaya asked with a curious look. She was sure that they would have flown toward the kingdom directly if there wasn't anything interesting for Alex however they are visiting every place on the way which makes her believe that Alex has something to do there.

"You are right, Kaya." Alex didn't deny her words. Placing his head on her soft thighs, he closed his eyes with a relaxed expression. "We are going to visit one more place after visiting the island in front of us. I have certain things to do there."

"Mmmm, I understand." She didn't ask anything anymore instead she began to caress his head with a loving gaze.

"Look, she began to fawn over him once again," Nami said with an irritated tone, looking at the couple. "Can't she stop acting so lovey-dovey? It's so nauseating to look at."

"Alex seems to enjoy it so there is nothing wrong with her behaviour," Tashigi replied calmly while fixing her spectacle with her fingers. "And it's not like she is asking you to look at her, you know."

"Kaya loves him a lot so there is nothing wrong with her fawning behaviour….." Mikita mumbled under her breath, looking at the couple. Seeing this scene, she couldn't help but think about her dream.

"Are you both at her side?" Nami looked at them with a shocked expression as if they had betrayed her at the most important part. "If you wanna leave me, do it. In the end, Vivi is the only friend that I have." She dramatically said before grabbing Vivi's hand and walking away from the other group.

Vivi didn't know what to say even though she was getting dragged away by Nami. After thinking about it for some time, she ultimately kept her mouth shut as she was afraid that Nami will get madder after hearing her words.

"Say, Mikita." Tashigi suddenly called out her name. "Do you think that she is starting to show feelings for Alex especially after learning about the multiple Empress thing?" She curiously asked the new girl who hesitated for a moment before nodding her head in affirmation.

"I guessed it too…." Tashigi mumbled and began to look at her friend who was now talking with Vivi with a happy smile. "Nojiko is going to get some competition soon. I wonder how she will react to it?"
