Chapter 40: Chapter 39. Why?-2

Instead of replying to her question, he walked forward and then sat next to her on the bed. "Do you want me to give up on you just because you have a mark on your back?" He curiously asked, gazing into her eyes.

Hearing his question, she flinched slightly and looked down at the ground with a thoughtful expression. "C-Can you remove the mark….? After some time, she finally spoke with a hopeful tone.

"I can and I will remove that in the future," Alex replied with a small smile, caressing her head tenderly. "You just need to wait for some time as I need to collect a special devil fruit."

"Mmm." She nodded at his words, a small happy smile adorning her face. As long as she could remove the mark from her and her sister's bodies, she didn't care much about the time it would take.

The duo then fell into a moment of silence though it was soon broken by Hancock who suddenly turned around and began to remove the V-neck blouse, revealing her milky white along with the slave mark that she had received during her childhood.

"This is the mark that every slave receives from those horrible beings and once you get this, you'll be considered a slave no matter at which place you stand,"  Hancock spoke in a furious tone, recalling the moment when she received this mark. "This is something that I along with my sisters are hiding from everyone since once someone found this, we won't be able to live on this island anymore."

Alex gazed at her back for some time before he put one of his hands on the mark causing her body to govern for a moment. "As I told you, I will remove this mark very soon and as for those shitty guys, I have my plans to deal with them so they wouldn't be able to do these kinds of things anymore."  

"Y-You are thinking of going against them? They rule the World, Alex. They sit at the highest position and do whatever they want without worrying about the consequences." She hurriedly turned around with a stunned expression on her face, not caring about the fact that he could now see her large breasts. "Then the entire world will be against you, trying to get rid of you no matter what price they need to pay."

Seeing her naked upper body, Alex remembered why he liked her so much in his previous life. Though he shook his head as this wasn't the right time to think about that stuff. "I know that too, Hancock and that's why I came here to make you mine so I would have someone beside me when I'll fight the entire world." With a serious expression, he gazed into her eyes and told her.

Hancock was taken back for a second however she soon recovered and began to chuckle slightly. "I don't have the choice here, Warlord Alex, however, if you can remove those marks, I promise you that I'll stand beside you in the future no matter who the enemy Is."

Alex nodded and then used his power to lift the blouse before giving it to her. "It's good that you made the right judgment, Hancock. I'm sure that you won't regret it in the future."

"By the way, I came here to tell you another thing." Alex suddenly spoke, gazing at her while she was wearing her blouse. "Silver Rayleigh has been murdered today by an unknown person. Shakky has gone out to find the culprit and might come here next week."

"WHAT????" She yelled with a shocked expression. "How did it happen? Who killed him?" She kept asking different questions, not even giving him a chance to speak.

After some time, she finally calmed down, however soon tears began to form in the corner of her eyes. Rayleigh was someone who helped her and her sisters when they were running away from that horrible guy, he was a father-like figure for them and to hear that someone killed him, was very saddening.

Alex began to tell her the same things that he told Shakky while comforting her at the same time. He was expecting her to be saddened by the news however not to this extent.

After hearing about everything, she declared that she would soon find that guy and kill him mercilessly. She then asked some more questions to him before falling asleep in his arms much to his amusement.

He placed her on the bed before covering her body with a blanket. Kissing her forehead, he walked out of the room to head toward the jungle that was around this empire, he wanted to find some good plants to create some medicines.

The next day, early in the morning, Hancock opened her eyes and glanced at the ceiling with a confused expression on her face; however, she soon remembered the things that had happened yesterday.

Standing up from the bed, she stretched her arms slightly before walking toward the door. She had been sleeping here since noon yesterday and it seemed that no one even came to her room to wake her up for dinner.

On the way to the kitchen, she saw a lot of guards who greeted her as usual, however, unlike the usual times, she smiled at them, causing them to smile in happiness.

At the dining table, she saw him sitting with her two sisters along with elder Nyon. She nodded at them before taking her seat at the dining table.

"How are you feeling now, Hancock?" Alex asked with a curious expression while eating his share of breakfast.

"A lot better than yesterday." She calmly replied and then ordered one of the maids to prepare a bath for her. "How was your day here?"

"It was good," Alex spoke with a small smile. "The people here are quite open-minded so it wasn't tough to get along with them, especially now that they know that you have accepted the proposal."

Hancock nodded at him and then went to the bathroom where she usually takes shower with her sisters. Her sisters followed her closely, leaving only Elder Nyon with Alex.

After some time, the trio returned and took their respective seats at the dining table. Since Elder Nyon was done with her breakfast, she went to some other place.

"What do you plan to do now that I have joined your side?" Hancock asked curiously while waiting for the maids to bring breakfast for her.

"Nothing big for now." After thinking for some time, Alex replied. "Though I do plan to teach you some important things so you can grow strong." She was very powerful, he knew that however compared to the people that he wanted to target, she was still very weak.

"Training? I used to train a lot, however, at some point, it became useless so I stopped wasting my time." Hancock spoke with a frown on her face.

"I'll be teaching you the advanced versions of Haki, something that will make you very powerful." Alex casually replied, not minding her confused expression. "We also need to train your crew so they can grow stronger in the least amount of time."

"I'll be looking forward to the advanced techniques of Haki." She lightly smiled at him, a little excited about it. "As for my crew, you can decide what you want to do with them. Though I hope that none of them will die in your training."

"Haha, don't worry about it." Alex chuckled slightly and turned to look at her sisters. "How was the training experience? Tell her." He had spent an hour yesterday training both of the sisters since he was quite dissatisfied with their current strength.

"He is a slavedriver, elder sister…." Marigold, the youngest sister, said with a frightened expression. "He didn't even give us a single moment to rest and continued to beat us."

Remembering the one-hour training, Sandersonia's body trembled in fear. "He is a demon, elder sister. I don't think it's a good idea to let him train the other crew members, he would break them with his hellish training."

Hancock was a little confused by their words however since he could evoke so many emotions from her little sisters, she decided to let him do whatever he wanted. "I can't stop him either since now, I am his woman….."

Those words were enough for the sister duo to glance at him with a scared expression, missing the playful smile that was on Hancock's face.

After breakfast ended, Alex gathered the Kuja pirates and headed straight to a small island that was some distance away from their island.

The island was separated into two parts, upper and lower. The lower part belonged to weak beasts and the upper side belonged to strong beasts. He left the crew on the lower side and then began to explain the training that they had to do.

He first took away their weapons much to their horror and then began to explain the Rokushiki techniques to them. After that, he gave them a nice explanation of Haki and how to use it consciously unlike the usual times that they use it unknowingly. He wanted all of them to have fine control over their Haki.

After answering some of their questions, he took Hancock with him to the upper side of the island where the overlords of this island live; however, compared to Hancock, they were very weak, which was why no one dared to come even though the duo landed in the middle area.

"So with which, Haki, are we going to start first?" Hancock asked with a curious expression, folding her hands under her large breasts.

"We are going to start with Armament Haki first," Alex said with a small smile and then raised his hand toward a tree. "You are familiar with basic hardening, however today I'm gonna teach you how to bring out your Haki from a single part of your body…….."

Inside the room of authority in the Mary Geoise, 5 elders sat on sofas while Rob Lucci stood behind them along with Spandam and his father.

"So we not only lost agency members but also lost that devil fruit along with the blueprints….." The bald elder wearing glasses narrated what they were just informed by Lucci. "And it all happened because of your arrogant attitude, Spandam?"

"Y-Yes, elder." Spandam nervously replied, bowing slightly as his father forced him to do that. "It was my behaviour that got us in trouble…."

"Since he is accepting his mistakes, let him go." The tall bearded elder spoke calmly and motioned the duo of father and son to go back.

"We are thankful for your mercy, elders. I promise that it won't happen again." Spandine assured with a nervous smile before walking out of the room along with his son, not before glaring at Lucci for one last time.

"Lucci, make sure to get rid of them tonight. They have made a lot of mistakes and can't be forgiven for them." The bald elder with a large white moustache said with a serious expression and then dismissed Lucci from the room as well. 

"First, it was Shiki who took away that devil fruit and now, this ignorant guy lost another devil fruit in the sea….." The bearded elder said with an irritated expression. "Because of him, we lost so many decent agents against an unknown pirate….."

"The worst thing is that we can never get Pluton blueprints because this idiot revealed our purpose of getting them to the Iceberg." The blonde-haired elder said with an angry expression to which the other elders nodded as well.

"At least even among such chaos, the Marines found a good officer." The glasses-wearing elder spoke calmly. "Now, even Kuzan has taken interest in him and even began to train him personally."

"He did the right thing." The blonde haired spoke to which they all nodded before they all began to discuss different stuff that was transpiring throughout the world and needed their immediate attention.
