Chapter 41: Chapter 40. Meeting The Girls-1

{A Week Later}

"It's nice to see you again, Alex," Genzo spoke and greeted him with a small smile.

"It's nice to see you too." Alex smiled at him and began to look around for the sister duo. "Where are they? I came here to take them back."

"They are in the middle of the village, discussing something with the villagers," Genzo replied and led him toward the middle of the village. "I don't even know what these two girls are thinking about. They didn't even tell me something about this sudden discussion."

Alex nodded with a thoughtful expression while greeting the villagers back who were greeting him with smiles on their faces. "We'll find it soon. I'm sure that they must be planning something big."

After walking for some time, the duo finally reached the middle area where they saw the sisters talking with the elders of the village with a serious expression.

Genzo wanted to ask them some questions however he was interrupted by Alex who motioned him to keep quiet. He wanted to know what these two were planning here.

"What do you think about our suggestion, everyone?" Nojiko asked the elders with a serious expression.

"Ughhh….." The elders didn't know what to say about her suggestion. Though after some seconds, the oldest-looking elder spoke. "I think it wouldn't be a good idea, Nojiko. Following him wouldn't be a good idea since we will all become pirates. The children would be affected by it the most."

"Nojiko, leave them. We can only suggest whether they follow it or not, it's their choice." Nami grabbed her sister's hand before pulling her back. She then looked at the elders with an apologetic look. "We apologize for calling you so early in the morning even though you are all ill."

"No need to apologize." The elders spoke with a smile before they all began to head back to their respective houses. Some of them noticed Alex's presence so they greeted him before walking away.

"I'll join you after some time. You should catch up with them till then." Saying that Genzo hurriedly walked toward one of the elders and then began to talk with them.

"Hey, girls, enjoyed your one-week holiday?" Alex walked toward them with a smile on his face and gave them a quick hug while pecking on their lips. "Ready to head back to the island now and start some serious training?"

"It was quite enjoyable in the starting days but after that, we began to feel bored," Nami replied with a dissatisfied expression. She tiptoed to give him a quick kiss with a small smile. "Let's head back, I want to fight some beasts to get rid of my boredom."

Hearing her words, both Nojiko and Alex chuckled amusingly. "Yeah, let's head back, Alex. It was so boring to stay here for an entire week. Though if you were with us, I'm sure that we wouldn't have felt bored." Nojiko said with a small smile to which Nami agreed as well.

The trio then headed back to the house and waited for Genzo. Nojiko went into the kitchen to prepare some tea for Alex while Nami sat on his lap, her head resting on his chest.

"Are you gonna bring the other girls now or did you already take them back to the island?" Nami asked curiously.

"I will bring them after leaving both of you on the training island. I'm sure that Robin is missing all of you." Alex replied with a light chuckle.

"Yeah, Robin is all alone there…." From the kitchen, Nojiko came back with a tray in her hands. She handed the two cups to them while taking one for herself. "I guess, she must be happier than us since she wouldn't be feeling bored there, fighting all of those dangerous beasts."

"It's Robin, we are talking about, Nojiko. She would never feel bored even if she was here." Nami said with an amused chuckle causing Nojiko to giggle as well.

The trio began to drink the tea quietly, occasionally making small conversation among themselves. The girls also told him about their plans of recruiting these villagers though it was a failure as no one wanted to go with them.

After some time, Genzo joined them too and began to talk with Alex, asking him about his journey on the Grand Line. He also praised Alex when he found that Alex helped a princess get back her kingdom from an evil pirate.

After finishing up the tea, the trio bid farewell and Alex created a spatial door for the girls who passed through it immediately, going into the upper area of the trailing island where Robin was.

After this, Alex created another door for himself and went to a different village to get the other girls while Genzo stood there with a stunned expression, looking at the place where those two doors had appeared.

The next stop was of course the Syrup village where Kaya has been staying for an entire week, enjoying her vacation.

The door appeared outside of the mansion and then Alex walked out of it. He glanced around the mansion before walking inside the mansion.

The maids and butlers who noticed his presence immediately began to greet him while bowing slightly. He nodded at them with a smile on his face while continuing to walk toward the kitchen from where he felt Kaya's presence.

The moment he entered the dining room, a figure hurriedly ran toward him before throwing itself in his arms causing Alex to laugh out loudly.

"Haha, missed me?" Alex lifted her with a small smile, swirled her around and then put her back on her feet.

"I missed you a lot!!!" Kaya jovially laughed, wrapping her arm around his neck while raining down kisses on his face. "It was so boring here without you…!!"

Alex simply chuckled, enjoying the affection that she was showing. "You do know that Merry is here as well, right?" He asked with an amused smile causing the butler to chuckle as well.

"She didn't hide her overwhelming love for you, Alex. There wasn't a single day when she didn't mention you." Merry spoke with a small smile to which Kaya nodded with a proud smile. "Welcome back, Alex." He said with a professional tone while bowing slightly.

Alex nodded and walked toward the dining table while carrying Kaya in his arms who was attached to him like a koala. "It's nice to see you, Merry. You seem to be getting younger instead of ageing now." Alex joked with a smile and then sat on an empty chair with Kaya on his lap.

"Is that so? It's not a good thing." Merry replied with a small smile before walking toward the kitchen to prepare some light snacks for the duo.

The two of them began to talk with each other, mainly about his adventure on the sea while they were all away. After some time, Merry came back with a tray full of different snacks and two glasses of orange juice.

Kaya fed him the snacks while he talked with Merry about some miscellaneous things. After finishing up the snacks, the duo bid their farewell and then, Alex opened a door for Kaya to go to the training island while he headed toward a different place.

His next destination was Shimotsuki Village, the place where Tashigi had gone to meet with her father after such a long time.

The door opened above the sky and from it, Alex came out with a small smile on his face. He glanced around the village for some seconds before flying toward the Isshin Dojo, the only significant place in this entire village.

Landing outside of the dojo, he walked inside, not caring about the shocked gazes that he was receiving from the people around him.

He felt the presence of Tashigi on the other side of the dojo so he decided to head straight to that place where he saw Tashigi sitting on a chair while her father sat in the opposite direction in the garden. Both of them seem to be talking about something important.

"How are you, Tashigi?" Alex asked with a smile causing her to look in his direction with a surprised expression. Though it soon changed into a happy expression.

"Alex!" She happily smiled and walked toward him hurriedly. "I missed you so much." Saying that she hugged him tightly however in the next second, she instantly let him go as she remembered that her father was here too.

"Ready to go back?" Alex asked while caressing her head to which she nodded while blushing in embarrassment. Chuckling at her shy expression, he turned to look at the middle-aged man. "You must be Tashigi's father, right? My name is Alex, her captain. It's nice to meet you."

"I have heard a lot about you since the last week, Alex. My name is Koushirou, Tashigi's father." The middle-aged man introduced himself with a small smile. Though his words caused Tashigi to look at the ground in shame.

Alex sat on an empty chair while Tashigi went inside the room to bring some juice for him. "So did you find out why such a high-profile organisation tried to kidnap your daughter?" Alex asked with a serious expression.

"I don't know the exact details but as far as I can guess, I would say that they wanted my daughter in their organisation cause of her extraordinary talent in swordsmanship,"  Koushirou replied with a thoughtful expression. "They must be keeping tabs on our family since the time my father left Wano and settled in this village." He added some more words however when noticed Alex's confused expression, he chuckled in awkwardness and began to tell him about his family.

"No wonder they were after your daughter. She has a natural talent when it comes to swords." Alex praised her with a small smile while taking a sip of apple juice much to Tashigi's ecstasy. "I plan to take her back now, how about you come with us? I need a swords master in my Empire who can train the soldiers."

Hearing this sudden proposal, Koushirou fell into deep thoughts. He didn't want to leave this peaceful village however if he denied the offer, he doesn't know when he would be able to see her daughter once again. "I'll take my students with me if they agree, will it be a problem?" After considering it for some time, he decided to accept the proposal.

"I don't have a problem with it." Alex agreed to his condition causing the middle ages man to thank him in gratitude. "You should ask them now since I plan to leave now as I have to visit some other places as well." 

Koushirou nodded at him and then headed inside the dojo with a serious expression. When he was gone, Tashigi took his seat and looked into his eyes. "Thank you, Alex, for taking me from the Marine base at that time. If you hadn't done that, I'm not sure if I would have been able to meet my father in my entire life."

"Haha, should I keep kidnapping girls like you from the Marines? Maybe some of them might have stories like you?" Ha asked with an amused tone prompting her to giggle as well. "Did you show your sword skills to your father? How did he react to that?"

"He was very shocked by it. He even told me that he wasn't expecting me to grow so much since he still considered me a woman with a weak body." Tashigi excitedly replied, thinking about the stunned expression that her father had at that moment. "He praised me a lot however I told him that it was all because of my captain."

"I'm happy that you were able to change his views regarding women, Tashigi." He said with a smile and then engaged her in a conversation on other topics.

After some time, Koushirou came back with 5 students, following him closely. He told them that the other students were not willing to come with him to become a pirate.

Alex didn't care much about it instead he greeted the 5 students before creating a door much to the shock of everyone except for Tashigi. Even Koushirou was shocked as he wasn't expecting Alex to even know sorcery.

He sent the Koushirou and the 5 students to the new city and then sent Tashigi to the upper part of the training island. With his work here done, he created another door and headed to Grand Line to meet the other two members of his crew.
