Chapter 59: Chapter 58. Fish-Men Finale

"It's been a long time, isn't it, Camie?" Alex spoke with a smile while eating Shijimi clam pizza, a speciality of Mermaid Cafe. "How are you doing nowadays?"

"Thanks for saving me at that time, Alex-sama." Camie bowed slightly showing her gratitude. "I'm doing very well right now. Madam Shyarly is a very good boss."

"I'm glad to hear that." He turned to look at Shirahoshi who was hurriedly eating food. "Hey, calm down. No one is taking away your food, you know."

"I know but it just tastes too good." She replied, taking another bite of pizza with a happy smile. "My name is Shirahoshi. It's nice to meet you, Camie." She introduced herself to the other young mermaid.

"I-It's nice to meet you too, Princess," Camie replied with a nervous expression while looking at the beautiful princess in front of her. "I should take my leave now, Alex-sama. I still need to do my work as the waitress at this cafe."

"Mmmm, bye." Saying that he once again began to focus on the dishes that were on the table.

After almost half an hour, they both were done with the food. Shirahoshi was now leaning back on the chair with a satisfied smile and was drinking apple juice slowly.

"I'll be going to meet Shyarly, do you wish to come with me?" Alex asked with a smile while standing up from his seat.

"I don't think that I would be able to go with you, Alex-sama," Shirahoshi said with an embarrassed giggle while glancing at her stomach which looked bloated at this moment.

"I understand." Chuckling at her embarrassed expression, he then began to walk toward the second floor where he was sensing her presence.

On the way to the second floor, the other waiters greeted him with a smile since they all knew that he was the one who saved their colleague from becoming a slave to those Celestial dragons.

On the second floor, he saw a large sofa on which a large mermaid with a black tail was sitting while smoking a pipe.

"Please take a seat, Alex." Shyarly politely said while pointing toward an empty chair. "I sincerely thank you for saving Camie."

"It wasn't a big deal, Shyarly. I just did what I felt was right at that moment." Alex replied with a humble tone. "I heard that you can see people's future. I want you to see what is in my future for me."

"I had stopped seeing it in the future but since it's a request from you, I will do it." Saying that she took out a crystal ball from a table near her and then began to use her fortune-telling abilities.

After five minutes, she opened her eyes with a shocked expression and then placed the crystal ball on the table again. She then looked at Alex with a worshipping gaze. "Your Majesty!"

Alex was a little confused by her sudden way of calling him." What did you see in my future, Shyarly?" He asked with a curious expression.

"I only saw a glimpse of your future, your Majesty. In that glimpse, the entire world was bowing down to you while you were flying in the sky. The weather behind you was changing quickly from being sunny to rainy or thundering." Shyarly spoke with an awe-filled tone, thinking about the scene that she just witnessed. "You were like a God, Your Majesty. Someone who is above everyone in this entire world."

"A God, huh….? So, I did succeed in my plans." Alex muttered with a small smile. "I'll take my leave now, Shyarly." Saying that he stood up from his seat and began to walk toward the stairs while she sat there, still processing the things that she just witnessed.

"So I'm walking on the right path to becoming a God…." He mumbled with an excited smile. Though his expression instantly changed when he saw the scene that was happening on the first floor.

Shirahoshi was on the stage along with a mermaid and was singing happily while the customers were happily cheering her. Since she looked so happy doing that, he decided to wait for her to finish her performance.

After some time, she finally walked down from the stage and headed toward him. "It was so fun to sing with her." She excitedly spoke while waving at the customers who were clapping for her. "Are we leaving now, Alex-sama?"

"Your voice is very soothing, Shirahoshi. I loved your energetic performance." Alex praised her, causing her to smile in happiness. "Hmm, let's go. I'm sure that your father is missing you right now."

"I am missing my father too…"

"Are you leaving now….?" Shirahoshi asked with a sad expression, looking at Alex who was peacefully eating his dinner. After they had come back from the Kingdom, they both roamed the entire palace and then played in the garden where he taught her how to control her Observation Haki. Since she was still a young kid, he believed that it was a bad idea to train her physically.

"Mmm, I still have a lot of places to go to do certain things." Alex nodded affirmatively at her words. "Don't worry, I'll make sure to visit you from time to time."

"He is a busy person, Shirahoshi. You need to understand that." King Neptune spoke with a calm expression.

"I know that too, father but……." Shirahoshi replied with a depressed expression. "Things wouldn't be the same without Alex-sama."

"Don't start crying now, okay?" Alex gave her a stern gaze causing her to immediately wipe off her eyes. "It's not like you are gonna be alone. You can now freely travel in the entire kingdom as there are no more threats. You can also go to the Mermaid cafe to sing songs with your friends, you know."

Shirahoshi still looked very saddened by his sudden leave however she soon calmed down and began to enjoy the food along with her family members and Alex.

After the dinner was over, Alex had a private conversation with King Neptune and then he talked with Shirahoshi for some time. Since he was done doing everything that he needed on the Fish-Men island, he decided to head back to the palace.

Though a different idea suddenly appeared in his mind so he decided to go and meet someone else. "I guess, it would be quite good to get that old man under my command along with that age-reversing girl."
