Blitz awoke— his body heavy and seemingly immovable. From the events that he remembered, he could somewhat guess that he closed his eyes and somehow fell asleep due to being tired. When he heard that Envisioned Fantasy was shutting down, he dedicated most of his time to savor the last moments of the game.

Rejecting overtime and immediately returning as soon as his shift was over. However, on the very last day, he was forced to do overtime. Continuously doing all-nighters whilst juggling with work, it was a bad move by health practices. Yet, he persevered, he wanted to log on Envisioned Fantasy before it shut down— no matter the cost.

“Urghh— My head hurts…”

Blitz erected his upper body before scratching his head. However, there was something wrong with the currently transpiring events. He was sure that he was in his VR-Capsule, yet he moved freely. His body was caged, a disadvantage of the VR-capsule, yet he could freely move his hands which was rather hard in a capsule.

“What the…”

Raising his hand to massage his eyes, he was immediately greeted by a loud THUD! as his hands met with something of an obstruction. Sensing this, he grasped his head and was immediately stunned to feel a cage around his head— much more of a helmet.

“W-what the!” Suddenly standing up from the ground, he continuously blinked his eyes trying to gain a proper view of what was happening, “Wait…”

Then, he noticed something, he stood up— something that, again was impossible inside a capsule. The turn of events was confusing but he somewhat made something of a hypothesis.

He recomposed his breathing into something more calmly, and placed his hand upon his head.

“[Store Helmet]”

Suddenly, his helmet dissolved into numerous black particles as it entered his armored palm. Seeing the result of his hypothesis, Blitz just stood there, stunned of what had just happened.

“Wait a minute…”

He stood there like a motionless statue for around a few minutes before regaining his composure. He slowly lowered his hands and stood in a more upright manner. Rotating his head downwards, he saw his armored body, covered in a familiar jet-black armor beneath a scholarly cloak.

“This armor… Wait a minute…”

He restlessly looked around his surroundings, although his armor was considerably heavy from just looking at it. He moved effortlessly, as if he had continuously trained his body to move unopposed with great weights— something he didn’t do often in the real world.

As he observed his surroundings, he had noticed that he was somewhat inside a cave of sorts. Fortunately, the entrance and only exit was just a few meters away from him. It was like heaven’s gate as the darkened interior of the cave was lit up by the singular source of light— the outside world.

“This isn’t my house… nor the earth isn’t that bright.” He muttered, confused by slowly adjusting to the events, “This isn’t my body too, I’m too tall…”

There were too many questions with so little answer. However, he had a feeling that all his questions would be given an answer once he left the cave’s interior. So, he did it, he followed his gut feeling and walked towards the entrance of the cave.

He covered his eyes with his arms as he progressed further. It was like walking towards the gate of heaven, considering his own health ethics was questionable, it was a probable result.

Once he let out his first step of the outside of the cave— he was immediately greeted by a gust of wind that brushed his exposed face. His eyesight slowly adjusting, he lowered his arms, expecting to see clouds and a golden gate— not like he expected it considering how he lived.

However, much to his expectations— It wasn’t heaven.

Below him was a massive forest, extending as far the eye can see. The large bright sun that illuminated the day was just above the forest, slowly ascending to a higher plane. Examining closely the bright blue skies, sprinkled with fluffy clouds, he soon saw a flock of birds flying in the far distance.

“…huh?”

Before him was a realm of fantasy, that was undeniable. The problem was, why was he in this realm of Fantasy? Clearly, [Envisioned Fantasy] had shut down and by this time of the day he would appear to his day-to-night job of being a plant manager.

“But… This isn’t earth…”

The vast sea of green, the clear sky of blue, and the numerous lifeforms that once inhibited the surface of the earth— it wasn’t possible. By the year 2100, the earth was on its knees as it was recovering from a world war that ravaged the earth, decreasing lifeforms, ecology, and drastically— the population of humans.

“This also isn’t the Underworld— the trees are too green and there’re birds, not demons.”

One of the worlds in Envisioned Fantasy was the Underworld, it was there where he occupied the Tomb of Hadeost and subsequently created his Guild. Yet, the view before him was that filled with life, as opposed to the underworld’s depressing yet fearsome domain.

“I don’t want to believe this… I can’t…”

The answers had already been stacking but Blitz refused to accept it. His five senses were considerably increased— feeling as if it was indeed actually real. Adding to that was his current location, something that was undoubtedly real as the heat of the sun, gale of the wind, sweat from his body, and the smell of animal shit— continuously barraged him.

He decided to do one last check, to see if it was indeed reality.

“[Store Armor set].”

Like his helmet before, the cloak and jet-black body armor that protected his body soon dissolved into numerous black particles that subsequently entered his palm. He was soon met with the cold breeze of the wind as it brushed around his naked body.

He looked down, and was shocked to see that the size of his junior was ‘rather larger’ than what he originally possessed. Yet, that wasn’t the point of him releasing his armor, it was this:

“[Race shift— Ancient Dreaded Ooze]!”

[Race shift] was a special command for players whom chose the [Heteromorphic Race]. The [Heteromorphic Race] had [Racial levels], something the [Human and Demi-Human races] didn’t have. In simpler terms [Heteromorphic Race] players can evolve to a higher form of their race.

Blitz was originally a simple slime of the [Heteromorphic Race] but thanks to grinding and large-scale monetary investments, he had reached the highest and most destructive form of all slime variants— the [Ancient Dreaded Ooze]. It had numerous exclusive advantages but it also had numerous restrictions and drawbacks to balance it out.

“Wawawawawawa—!”

Immediately, Blitz’s height slowly descended to the ground, and almost felt as if his body had laid flat on the ground surrounded by a cold liquid. He raised his arm, but all he could see was a disgusting black goo that continuously dripped down and quivering, it didn’t remain in a consistent form, however a figure of somewhat a hand was still there.

In [Envisioned Fantasy] the sensation of [Race shift] was null. In other words, apart from perspective, the player can’t feel his body shrinking nor losing or gaining temperature. Yet, Blitz could clearly feel it— his body becoming liquid, his organs liquifying, his entire body sloppily resting on the ground, not standing on his feet— everything he was feeling was impossible in the virtual world of [Envisioned Fantasy].

I guess… this means I’ve lost…

Blitz’s accepted what was happening, having watched and read numerous animated programs. He could somewhat understand and adapt to his circumstances. However, the problem would what should he do next?

[Race Shift— Humanoid Vessel]

Blitz’s body soon arose from the ground, his liquid body of tar slowly lost its appearance and soon revealed a fleshy arm underneath it’s body of black goo. Normally, upon changing to a somewhat humanoid race, the player would automatically be given an undergarment. Afterall, [Envisioned Fantasy] wasn’t an R18-game, leaving out the sex dungeons created by other players and using the [Creative Freedom Policy] as a loophole.

“Truly different…” Blitz muttered as he looked at his palm and hands and accidentally towards his sizable junior, which was very much so outstanding, “…Indeed… very much different…”

With this newfound knowledge, Blitz began refitting himself with his jet-black armor, and scholarly cloak. Before he fitted his helmet however, he first stared at its interior, he just couldn’t believe that fantasy had become reality.

Could it be that blinding light before? Or am I just doing that thing when you die then do a dream?

There was no logical explanation, all he knew was that what he was feeling and doing was undoubtedly— reality. Taking into account that he possessed his character from Envisioned fantasy, he had to somehow lay low.

Considering that he wasn’t exactly part of the human race, was a level 150 PVP’er that was rather obscure from global rankings, and held the epithet of the [Demon Lord of Blitzing]. It’d be quite hard.

Should I change armor, or cast [False Identity, Stats]

The armor was the least of his problems, the world of [Envisioned Fantasy] had many numerous NPC-ruled Knight orders, he had the possibility of using his bullshit to pose as one. The greater problem would be the discovery or any form of identification, one that would undoubtedly reveal his true stats.

“Well… considering the fact that I hadn’t found anything worthy of the title of ‘Civilization’. I’ll have to cut back on caution, though I still need to remain vigilant.”

His reasoning was rather simple, there was a large possibility that this world was still in [Envisioned Fantasy]. Therefore, it may hold its old locations, kingdoms, etc. just that theory was enough to start his adventure.

Wearing his armored helmet, to which it automatically locked itself to his head, Blitz walked towards back to the exterior of the cave. Before he took another step, he looked down on the edge of the cliff that connected him with the cave.

The height was somewhat 60 meters tall, considering his HP and armor protecting him. It probably wouldn’t damage him much, but the mere sight and sound of a loud explosion in the middle of a vast forest was suspicious.

“Well… If I was transported with the Tomb of Hadoest alongside with my NPC subordinates. I would’ve had a good starting point. But this should be good enough.”

He suddenly yelled, “[Gate]”. A Teleportation spell that allowed him to teleport to known locations. Given he was a grinder and one that continuously did side quests and solo explorations, he had quite the list of locations. Normally, there was a selection tab that give him a wide variety of possible locations, but that was currently unusable. So, he just had to gamble that hopefully he would be teleported to the location he imagined.

A 2-meter wide magic circle soon appeared under his feet and Blitz’s entire body was eaten by a bright light from the circle. Then, as if floating, Blitz seemingly felt as if he moved through time and space. Once he opened his eyes, the light was gone and the magic circle dissipated.

Huh… weird... the view seems the same… was there a problem?

Blitz looked down, only to see that he was no longer on the cliff which was a few centimeters behind him. Responding quickly as gravity started advancing, he immediately grabbed onto the edge of the cliff and slowly lifted himself up. Raising himself again to the cliff, he soon laid flat atop it as his shock slowly dissipated.

Quickly, his breathing returned to its original interval and the trembling sensation of his body disappeared along with his fear and anxiety, as something swirled within the insides of his body, like a vortex that sucked out unwanted responses or reactions. Something he was rather perturbed about, considering that the complete shock was akin to a near death experience.

“I forgot I have a significant amount of HP and even wearing armor, why was I scared?”

He raised his body and recomposed his mind, it was certainly a problem that [Gate] wasn’t usable. There could be a multitude of reasons, but the one he believed the most was:

“Unless the map changed?” He uttered as he stood up from the ground, stretching his body as he was going for another route, “Map Changing isn’t possible, I’ve only heard of 4 official map updates. Even then, there weren’t much that can be considered a change.”

Since gate was out of the options, Blitz decided to use [Fly] or something of the likes. Normally, whenever using [Fly] in the VR-capsule, there were a set of automated controls that decreased the difficulty of flying.

Having barely used [Fly] during his decades of gaming in [Envisioned Fantasy]. He wasn’t like the other players who had mastered [Fly] so much that they’d be able to fly it manually without the supportive controls. In other words.

“[Fly]…” As he slowly ascended from the ground, both hands at his sides balancing his weight, “…Carefully… Carefully…”

Having finally left the shackles of gravity. He slowly ascended towards the sky, he was still maintaining cautiousness as just one gust of wind would destroy everything he had done. Fortunately, the wind was calm and flying was somewhat easier than what he imagined.

Noticing that he has finally reached a certain height, he slowly tilted his body and as what he expected. He flew towards the location he tilted to. By the time he knew it, he slowly got the gist of flying as he didn’t have any restriction dropped upon him by the game and the VR-capsule.

Looking below him, he could see the vast forest acting like a sea, reflecting light from the sun that made it seem like waves of an ocean. He could even notice, from underneath the vast shades of the leaves, several lifeforms not bearing any resemblance to a humanoid.

“So, this is what a green world looked like…” he commented as he admired the sea of green and blue before him, bodies and life of nature, “To think this is reality… I’m qui— AAARRRRRGGGGHHHH—!"

Having been struck by something like a solid object, Blitz lost control of his body and started to spiral downwards at an alarming rate. He would’ve understood if it was just the gust of wind blowing against him, but it was a solid, spherical-like object.

However— it was no more than an obese goofy-looking ass winged-creature that can’t even be considered a bird.

“YOU FUCKING BIRD!!!”
