Chapter 245 - Tong Xuelu blinked at him, “What would you like to ask me, Comrade Wen?” (3)
Everybody helped with the clean-up after dinner.
Tong Xuelu carried the plates out of the living room, and Jiang Danhong followed behind her.
“Thank you for speaking up for me earlier.”
Tong Xuelu’s lips curved upward. “I didn’t speak up for you; I was merely telling the truth. Nobody other than you has the right to forgive them!”
As the famous Japanese writer Haruki Murakami had once said: If there was a firm tall wall and an egg that had been broken when thrown against the wall, he would always be on the egg’s side. That’s right. No matter how right the wall was and how wrong the egg was, I would still stand by the egg.
What was right or wrong was not determined by someone else, and forgiving someone or not was also more than just something verbal.
Jiang Danhong had already been through a lot. How would anyone who had nothing to do with the incident have the right to tell her to be forgiving?
Hearing Tong Xuelu’s words, Jiang Danhong’s lips pinched shut, and her eyes reddened a little.
With the exception of Wen Rugui, Tong Xuelu was the first person who was truly friendly to her.
Tong Mianmian was a bit sleepy after dinner, so Tong Xuelu carried her into the bedroom to tuck her to bed.
The little bun fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.
Meanwhile, Tong Jiaming brought Tong Jiaxin with him to do their homework in the study.
The night was still young, so Tong Xuelu suggested for the remaining adults to play a game.
She brought a glass bottle out from the kitchen and said to everyone, “We’ll play a game called Truth or Dare. It’s very simple.”
“The first person will spin the bottle. Whoever the bottle would end up facing is the loser and must answer a question from the spinner. They are not allowed to lie. If they refuse to answer, the spinner can smack them once on their palm.”
Having said that, she pulled out a piece of wood. The piece of wood wasn’t very thick, but it will sting when used to smack someone’s palm.
Pu Jianyi never played a game like that and quickly agreed to it with a smile, looking like an excited child.
Neither Wen Rugui nor Jiang Danhong objected to it.
Thus, the game began.
Tong Xuelu was the first to spin the bottle. The bottle spun around once and finally pointed at Pu Jianyi.
Pu Jianyi was taken aback a little and then excitedly urged her to ask quickly. “Go ahead, Comrade Tong. I’m ready!”

Tong Xuelu’s lips curved upward, showing a wicked smile. “Comrade Pu, will you forgive someone who had broken your backdoor?”
Pu Jianyi, “……”
Hot dang. What kind of question was that?
Both Wen Rugui and Jiang Danhong were taken aback a little. After thinking about it, they figured out that Tong Xuelu was purposefully trying to give Pu Jianyi a hard time because of his mistake earlier.
Pu Jianyi was not a complete idiot either. He gritted his teeth and said, “Go ahead and hit me. I refuse to answer your question!”
Tong Xuelu picked up the piece of wood and smacked his palm hard.
Pu Jianyi gasped when he felt the sting.
This woman was ruthless!
He acknowledged that had said something that he shouldn’t have, but was this pain really necessary?
Then it was Jiang Danhong’s turn to spin.
Lo and behold, the bottle ended up facing Pu Jianyi again.
Jiang Danhong asked with a straight face, “Comrade Pu, if a man broke your backdoor, would you forgive him?”
It was the exact same question as Tong Xuelu’s.
Pu Jianyi’s lips twitched. “……”
Did she ask that on purpose or on purpose or on purpose?
Pu Jianyi finally refused to answer the question again, so Jiang Danhong picked up the piece of wood and smacked him hard.
Jiang Danhong had been working on the farm for over ten years and was much stronger than Tong Xuelu.
As such, Pu Jianyi’s palm became swollen instantly after her smack.
He started regretting agreeing to participate in this game.
After Jiang Danhong, it was Wen Rugui’s turn to spin.
He spun the bottle gently, and after spinning around once, it stopped facing Tong Xuelu.
Tong Xuelu blinked at him. “What would you like to ask me, Comrade Wen?”
