A/N: I'm sorry readers, there was a problem in typing the mana absorption rate in chapter 4. The correct mana absorption rate for an S-Rank talent is 0.02 mana per second, collecting 72 mana in an hour and 4,320 mana in a month if practised every day for two hours.

The Inferno Talent.

It was an evolved form of fire talent. Like other evolved elements like Ice, Sound, Gravity etc. It was rare.

A person with Inferno talent could use Inferno element magic along with all the fire element ones while those with Fire element talent were not able to use inferno element magic.

An evolved element had a special skill of its own. The inferno element gave the user's fire a unique colour along with a unique characteristic. It varied from person to person.

Cedric had awakened the S+ Rank of Inferno element which meant that it would take him the rank of a master to use his unique flames.

Currently, it has been four hours since Cedric started absorbing mana. He was able to feel all the mana getting collected in his body.

While Cedric absorbed mana, he sat in a mediating position. He imagined himself sitting and within a regular duration of time, a small ball of light would come in contact with his body and then disappear.

Each ball would end up giving Cedric some amount of mana before disappearing.

All the mana gathered by the mages would be gathered around their heart, making their heart a very big weakness. A strong punch to the area near the heart and their mana core may get destroyed.

But, this was not the same for Cedric. When he gathered mana, he could feel the mana not going towards his heart but rather it would spread his whole body.

Cedric was now tired from the meditation and slowly opened his eyes. He looked at his hands and then at his whole body.

He felt very good and also could feel his mana to be around the apprentice level.

"I did have apprentice-level mana before this system awakened. I believe my mana is almost at the apprentice level. Hey system, what else can you do? *Sigh* I also have to research this system." Cedric asked the question to the system and said the last line to himself.

[The system can help host awaken new talents. The host currently only has the talents that he previously had deeply hidden in his body]

"Woah, new talents? Then give me a Time element or Space or even Creation would do." Cedric said. No matter how cold he had always been, he was still a 16-year-old kid.

[Request accepted]

[Awakening Time Element, Space Element and Creation Element…]

"It's…true?"

[Error! Error! Could not awaken]

[No Space, Time or Creation type core found]

"Okay, got it. Thereisnosuchthingasafreelunchinthisworld. I need monster cores, right?" Cedric asked.

[Yes, the better the monster core, the better Rank talent would be awakened]

"Do you have any other use?"

[The system can show you a small window showing your current strength. Call out 'Report' to see it]

"Report" Cedric spoke out. The window of the system changed and some numbers started to appear.

"It is good. I also have to practice my body constantly too, I cannot become a strong mage with a weak body. Whatever, it is night now so I'll sleep." Cedric said. He once looked at the moon from the window of his room before going to bed.

As Cedric went to sleep, a man riding a horse came to the main entrance of the Ashlet mansion and gave a letter.

"It is sent from Young Lord First to the Duke. Make sure he gets it soon, I'll be leaving now." The man said. He had black hair and seemed to be around 30-35 years old.

"Lord Theodore, why aren't you taking any rest before leaving?" The soldier standing at the watch asked.

"The situation is not good on the field. I came here because I had some more work nearby." Theodore said and left.

Theodore was another strong person living in the kingdom.

Being the most powerful family after the Imperial family, the Ashlet Duchy had a private army of its own. The army was divided into four Divisions.

The four divisions were the Black Division, Elite Division, Red Knights Division and Shadow division. Each of these was headed by a Sword Lord and the strongest of the sword lords was Theodore, the Captain of the Red Knights Division.

Every division supported different Young Lords of the Duchy but only the Red Knights did not support anyone and remained neutral. Their Captain, Theodore always said that he will support someone when he feels that there is the right candidate.

Not only that, taking the place of a Captain in the Duchy's army itself had a very big meaning.

The position of Captain was usually given to the strong members of the Ashlet family but it was for the first time that someone from the outside of the family became a Captain.

Theodore was the strongest knight in the whole Kingdom, ranking only after the King.

Having reached the Rank of the Sword Lord only at the age of 30, there was a potential for Theodore to get to the rank of the Sword King. A Sword King would boost the strength of the kingdom by major levels.
