Chapter 11: 07

The Brixia Kingdom.

The Brixia Kingdom was the second-largest in population and the third-strongest out of the countless human kingdoms.

Military Strength- There were a total of 9 Sword Lords, 7 Grandmasters,1 Sword King and 1 Monarch Rank Mage. These people made up the major part of the military strength of the Kingdom.

The Kingdoms stronger than Brixia were the Yumore Kingdom and the Shultis Kingdom. They both had over 20 Sword Lords and 2 Sword Kings each. If a war were to happen, Brixia would not even last a month in front of them.

Population- The exact number of the total human population is currently not known but it was certain that there were more than 15 billion humans on the Acheron continent while 4 billion of them lived in Brixia alone.

Area- The area in which Brixia was spread was as big as the Northern American continent. To travel through such a big kingdom, teleportation portals were placed in different locations.

A human alone could not operate the portals since the amount of mana required was a lot but it was made possible with the help of Mana Stones and Monster cores.

The Mana stones were mined while Monster Cores, evident from their name, were found from the dead bodies of the monsters.

On a certain day, right before the sun rose and the chickens made noise, declaring that it was morning, a boy woke up.

"It is time to go and train." The boy, Oscar said. He sat up on his bed and then carefully got off the bed while making sure that any of his limbs did not touch any of his little siblings sleeping in the same bed.

Oscar got off the bed safely and then looked at the clock lying on a table in the same room. The clock read 5:00 A.M.

Oscar raised his eyebrows and frowned a little. "I got an hour late today." He said and quickly opened his closet.

After taking out a tracksuit, he quickly closed the closet and walked out of the room. He changed his clothes in the washroom and freshened up a little.

Oscar walked out of his house and started running towards the field he used to train in every day.

As Oscar passed through the area, he came across many beautiful views of the river by his side and the mountains in the far covered in a layer of green trees.

He soon reached an empty field and stopped for a minute to catch his breath. Before his breath could reach back to normal, he jumped up, hung onto a tree's branch with his hands and started doing pull-ups.

"One, Two, Three, Four…

Meanwhile, Cedric lay in his bed, sleeping silently.

He suddenly started moving his legs and started struggling in his sleep. Sweat started coming on his forehead. His heartbeat started fastening again and his breathing also started getting faster.

Finally, he opened his eyes abruptly and jerkingly sat up on his bed.

"What the fuck was that shit just now?" Cedric said as he covered his eyes with his palm. He remembered what just happened in his dream.

In his dream, someone with the same face as him stood in front of a giant levitating figure.

The person who looked the same as him appeared to be very strong since he could throw fireballs the size of the sun at the giant but, the giant was not weak either. The giant continued to just stand in his place as he countered all the attacks aimed at him.

The giant continued to levitate in the same place till the end. The man had already exhausted all his mana and was injured with wounds all over his body, barely standing up.

"I shall appreciate your try as a mortal, but that is all it was, a 'try'." The giant figure said as it approached the man. The man was in no condition to dodge or even move, all he could do was stand there and wait for the giant.

"Any last word?" The giant asked. He extended his completely black hands with extremely sharp edges and no well-defined fingers. He picked up the man from his face.

"Haha, Fuck you, Bitch." The man said and laughed maniacally.

The giant nodded gentlemanly and then started applying pressure on his hand. At first, the skull of the man changed its shape and not much later, the man's skull exploded due to the immense pressure applied.

It was right at that moment that Cedric woke up from his sleep.

"Alright, it was just a one-time nightmare, get your shit together," Cedric said as he slapped himself on both his cheeks softly. He got up from his bed and then he also changed into a tracksuit after freshening up.

Cedric did not run to an empty field but rather, he went to the large garden of the mansion to start his training. Cedric, the same as Oscar, started the next exercise after running before his breath got to normal once again.

Cedric started doing squats," One, Two, Three…"

The sun rose by now and the people were woken up by their alarms. The knight training area was now full of knights sparring and the meditation area was full of mages discussing things peacefully.

While all this happened in their areas, Cedric stood in the middle of an empty area, drowning in sweat and making his whole upper body visible.

Even his face looked much better now. His light skin along with his blue eyes and sharp gaze would make most of the girls find him very attractive.

Cedric saw a small pool nearby and went to it after his training was over. He first washed his face, washed his hands and then drank some water from the pond.

He then looked at his face in the water, adjusted his hair and said," I have to meet that Lady Senna today, huh? I guess I should dress properly. I also have to search about the system in our records and then there is also the family breakfast which I have to survive. I got too much work, when will I even absorb mana into my body?"

Cedric once again lay down, this time in the grass and then looked at the white clouds moving in the blue sky peacefully.

"They have such a good life."
