The taste of every bite felt different. It really was completely different from the food that a food processor. This... was the aroma of a woman.

Leo stared blankly forward, a little dazed.

Han Yanyan lifted her gaze to him and couldn't help but laugh. "Seriously, a full-grown adult still eating like this..." Smiling, she shook her head.

Leo quickly reached for his napkin, only to find his mouth covered in food and soup. He flushed, unable to help himself.

He had actually been taught etiquette when young, mostly through his mother's yelling. However, she hadn't actually been that interested in disciplining him - her bad temper had mostly just been set off by watching him eat sloppily.

Later, science and technology had made him rich. He had obtained his own ship and left human society to live in isolation. If the aide hadn't brought a fleet to threaten him in person, he wouldn't have seen another living human face-to-face in decades.

When alone, you could eat however you liked. Who was there to see if he had elegant table manners or not?

Leo's face had turned red when Han Yanyan laughed at him, and just when he was hesitating about whether or not to get angry, she suddenly picked up a napkin to wipe his cheeks. "Don't move..."

She was very gentle. Every stroke seemed to touch his heart.

He couldn't be annoyed. His anger dispersed, leaving behind only shame. Han Yanyan could clearly see him tremble every time she touched him.

What the hell was this?

Han Yanyan was silent for a moment. Then she loosened her fingers, dropped the napkin, and reached for Leo's face with her bare hand. He watched in horror as her hand drew closer, but his body was so stiff that he couldn't move, and she ended up touching him.

She watched him shake a few times as if he had been electrocuted, and then... smelt that distinctive fishy odor unique to men.

Leo fled. But the faint smell lingered in the air.

Even a woman like Han Yanyan was left completely at a loss.

Leo had said he was three times her age. Maybe a virgin of almost a hundred years old was more sensitive? But when she had beat him up the first day, she had been in much closer contact with him, and even naked. Why hadn't he reacted then?

Han Yanyan glanced at the dishes on the table... This really was what they called 'when fed and warm, lust arises'The full idiom is: "when fed and warm, lust arises; when cold and hungry, the urge to steal"..

Having made a complete fool of himself in front of Han Yanyan, Leo was currently wishing to die immediately so as to never see her again.

No woman had ever touched him like this before!

For as long as he could remember, his mother had hardly ever hugged him. More often than not, she had beat him instead. The pain of the stockings binding his hands and feet and the leather belt whipping his bare body occupied the greater part of his memories.

There was no need to even mention the girls at school. He had even happened to overhear the female teacher who had been very kind to him lamenting to the other teachers, "Leo Parker's such a smart kid. It's such a pity people don't want to get close to him because he looks so gloomy all the time."

Han Yanyan was the first woman in his life to have touched him so gently. When her fingertips touched his cheek, she had been cautious, as if he were very fragile.

Never, never had anyone else treated him this way before.

He really hadn't meant to make a fool of himself in front of her! But the feeling had been so electric that he hadn't been able to control himself.

Leo felt like life was now devoid of all meaning. He never wanted to see Han Yanyan again!

But just as he was writhing around on his bed like a fish being fried in oil, the alarm went off.

He didn't move. Han Yanyan had triggered the alarm so many times that he was quite used to it by now.

Soon, however, the alarm sounded a second time. This time, the system issued a warning. "Han Yanyan's vitality has dropped significantly. Her vital signs are weak. Recommendation: Immediate rescue."

"Where is she?" Leo asked in shock, springing to his feet. "What's wrong with her?"

He found her unconscious in the kitchen.

There were knives in the kitchen. Although she couldn't take them out of the room due to the system monitoring her, she could use them inside.

She had attempted to use the knife to break the dog collar around her neck. She had tried twice, but because the interval between her attempts had been too short, the collar had injected her with twice as much inhibitor the second time.

It was a highly concentrated injection, far beyond the usual.

When Leo found her in kitchen, not only was she unconscious, but she also had at least three cuts on her neck from the knife. Blood pooled all over the floor. Thankfully, she had not damaged any arteries, or not even the gods themselves could have saved her.

Han Yanyan was of course rescued.

When she opened her eyes, she was already back in her room. A man was pacing around the bed, exuding irritability.

As soon as she opened her eyes, the system prompted, "She has regained consciousness."

The man swung around. One arm was crossed across his body, and the other held his lips, biting his fingernails. It was none other than Leo Parker, mad scientist.

He stopped biting when he saw her wake, but stood next to her bed, not coming close.

"Are you an idiot? I told you that if you fiddled with it, you would get a double dose!" His face was black. "We're talking about a high-concentration inhibitor here!"

She had been saved and was back in good health. But a high concentration of inhibitor remained in her body, making her feel weak, and it wouldn't subside for a while.

Han Yanyan lay still for a while before she was strong enough to speak.

"Leo," she asked, "Do animals like dogs exist in your world?"

"No, what are those?" Leo snapped angrily. "I've never heard of them."

Han Yanyan closed her eyes and stopped talking.

"Hey!" Leo's anger hadn't dissipated yet. He still wanted to know why she had suddenly gone crazy and found trouble with the collar.

"I'm feeling uncomfortable. Let me rest a while."

A highly-concentrated dose of inhibitor undeniably caused discomfort and weakness. Leo knew she wasn't lying. It was his first time seeing Han Yanyan look so feeble. He wanted to scold her but couldn't express his anger, so he simply held it in, turned on his heel and left.

"Leo..." Han Yanyan suddenly stopped him from the bed. "There's still some soup in the pot," she whispered. "Don't waste it..."

Who cared about drinking fucking soup!? All he wanted to know was why she was fucking crazy!
