Han Yanyan was no longer weak. She had been a warrior for decades, and some things had been carved into her very bones. Although her body now was far inferior to that of the Matriarch of the mecha world in both speed and strength, she was not lacking in terms of skill alone.

Leo had been turning away from her, so when she suddenly pounced on him, he was so shocked that he simply froze in place. Han Yanyan threw him to the ground and brought down the sharp piece of glass upon his carotid artery.

A flicker of light flashed across Leo's body. Not only did the glass in Han Yanyan's hand fail to penetrate the artery, it even glanced aside.

The pain of being thrown to the ground finally got Leo to react. Upon seeing Han Yanyan once again raising the sharp glass, he broke into a cold sweat and grabbed fiercely onto her wrist.

"Han Yanyan! Are you mad?!" With great effort, he threw her off him.

The glass was released, and Leo immediately pressed forward, holding her wrist down and shouting, "What are you doing, you crazy woman?!"

Han Yanyan made fists with both hands and struggled to break free, only to find that she couldn't. No matter how strong she was in the simulation, here she had no spiritual power, and her physical strength did not seem to match Leo's.

Without hesitation, she kneed Leo hard between the legs.

The flickering light shield covering Leo's body was actually an invisible set of body armor. It was mainly used to protect against laser weapons, and wasn't very good in close combat. It mainly decided whether or not to defend based on the physical shape and kinetic energy of an incoming projectile. Just now, Han Yanyan had stabbed an artery with a sharp piece of glass, which it had judged to be 'lethal' and 'highly dangerous' and prevented. However, her act of 'cutting off the children and grandchildren' was judged as 'non-fatal', so it had failed to erect an effective defense.

When the blow hit, Leo's eyes instantly bulged. His mouth opened wide, like a dying goldfish, but no sound came out. Han Yanyan headbutted him on the nose, making it bleed, and the force of the impact caused him to fall powerlessly off of her.

Rolling over, Han Yanyan put all her weight on his back, knees against his ribs, grabbed an arm and twisted. Leo let out a scream. Not only was he unable to exert any strength with his arm twisted behind his back, the more force Han Yanyan exerted, the more pain he felt.

He shouted something loudly. Before Han Yanyan could respond, she felt a blow to her torso and fell to the ground, paralyzed.

She laboured to turn her neck and eyes and saw a small drone suspended in mid-air, its muzzle pointed straight at her.

"Fuck..." Leo squeezed out through gritted teeth. Teeth clenched, balls covered, nose bleeding, and one shoulder joint in severe pain, he relied solely on the strength of his legs to shift back, shifting, shifting... until finally he leaned back against the bed, panting in pain.

From the time Han Yanyan had smashed the mirror until now, less than ten seconds had passed. Truly, just like 'the rabbit rises up and the falcon swoops down'Idiom for fast and agile movement, it hadn't taken him long to go from healthy to disabled!

The attendant had said she was weak. Weak, his ass!!!

There must have been something wrong with his brain to believe that soldier's brainwashing! He's the one who should be refreshing his definition of strength and weakness! That fucker!

While simultaneously greeting the eighteen generations of the aide's ancestors in his heart, Leo cursed Han Yanyan, gasping. "You da-damned woman... you, ssst, what the hell is wrong with you?!"

Completely paralyzed, barely unable to lift her face, Han Yanyan glared at him fiercely and said, "You lied to me! This isn't the 'real world', this is a simulation!"

"Bullshit! "Leo's face was twisted in pain. Baring his teeth, he cursed, "This is the real world!"

Han Yanyan didn't believe him. "My body and appearance have both changed!"

So it turned out that this was why. "You country bumpkin!" Leo scoffed. "Have you ever heard about gene therapy? You fucking got a genetic improvement blend that I prepared myself! You don't even know your blessings when blessedTo live in plenty but not appreciate it!"

Han Yanyan paused. She scrutinized Leo, and Leo glared back.

"Then am I... really out?" She asked, disbelieving.

"If this were a simulated world, do you think I'd let you beat me up like this?" Leo said from between gritted teeth, "Wouldn't I have set myself to invincible mode?"

Han Yanyan's anger and courage both suddenly vanished. Her stubborn support of her body disappeared and she tumbled down.

"I'm out! I'm really out!" she cried, alternately weeping and laughing.

The woman was crazy!

If this really was a simulation, then what even was the use of killing him, let alone attacking him? She really was crazy, no doubt about it. She had completely lost her mind.

But she had originally been... a very clever, calm, rational woman.

Leo had not really understood when the attendant had spoken about Han Yanyan's despair. But at this moment, observing her madness, he had some sense of it.

A rare pity arose in his heart - a trace of pity mixed in with the pleasure of control, of looking down from high above.

That pity was quickly washed away by pain. Leo wondered if Han Yanyan had broken his balls just now, and hated her so much he wished he could kill her.

Han Yanyan had been a woman with a good foundation, and after genetic optimization, there was almost no trace of excess fat on her body. At this very moment her jade-like body was on full display, but alas, sexual desire in humans always comes after food, clothing and safety. Right now, Leo's balls, nose, and shoulder hurt. No matter how beautiful Han Yanyan was when naked, she could not arouse his interest. Her femininity no longer threatened him - he was currently much more afraid of her strength.

Sure that he wouldn't be able to stand, Leo gave instructions to the air. The central AI that managed the spaceship immediately received his command. A minute later, the hatch opened, and a rectangular metal board floated in.

Upon reaching Leo, the board lowered its height. Leo rose with his legs pressed together and his balls covered. It made for quite a wonderful sight. Blood was running from his nose and dripping everywhere, and with glass shards mixed in as well, he was a mess.

"You fucking-- hsst-- calm down!" he said bitterly, "Stop going crazy at every turn! If you do it again, you're going back into the hibernation pod!"

After that, the floating board carried him smoothly out of the room.

Han Yanyan had already stopped crying. Her glistening eyes followed Leo out the door, their jet black pupils as deep and dark as a cold pool.

It was the real world. Han Yanyan had considered gene therapy when she felt the absence of the scar, but she hadn't been able to rest assured without testing it. How real was a simulated world? So long as the logic was sound, it was impossible to distinguish between reality and illusion.

Unfortunately, she had failed to kill Leo Parker. She should have known that people like him who shrank behind screens while manipulating the lives and deaths of others were often the ones most afraid of death. Sure enough, he had taken protective measures.

The door to the room closed and opened once again, allowing the entry of several cleaning robots, which slid in and headed towards the blood stains and broken glass.

Han Yanyan's paralysis had subsided slightly by now. Propping herself up, she crawled forward on her hands and knees...
