Han Yanyan took a bath and then stood in front of the mirror, looking at herself.
She had always been a handsome woman, but one who was past her best years. Leo's genetic enhancer had not only improved her appearance, bringing her body closer to the golden ratio, but also given her back her youth.
Han Yanyan observed herself in the mirror. The unparalleled beauty that Leo had refused to give her in the simulation, he had bestowed upon her outside it.
It was just that the beauty in the mirror was wearing a round metal ring that looked like a dog collar around her neck. The sight was quite jarring.
She had come out of the hibernation pod naked, and when she woke up from her coma, she had still been naked. Leo had not even given her clothes to wear, but had taken the time to collar her. Even if you used your knees to think about it in place of your brain, you would know that this was nothing good.
Han Yanyan touched the metal ring and found that it circled her neck very closely. Leaning into the mirror, she narrowed her eyes and tried to break it off with brute force.
There was a sudden stabbing pain in her neck. A cold, weak feeling spread throughout her body and Han Yanyan collapsed onto the floor of the bathroom.
Inhibitor!
"Han Yanyan! What are you up to now?" Leo's voice rang out from the internal comm. "You just triggered an alarm. Did you touch the injection collar around your neck? Let me warn you, there's a very concentrated inhibitor inside. So long as you don't move around, it'll be a single dose, but if you try and fight it, it'll give you double. Your choice."
After a pause, he added, "This piece of equipment is used to control convicts in prison. It's military grade, so don't even think about trying to destroy it. Hah!"
The chill in her body subsided, and Han Yanyan regained enough strength to stand up. It seemed that the inhibitor not only suppressed her spiritual power, but also debilitated her body.
Leo's defenses against her were truly flawless in all aspects. What a guarded bastard.
This is a bit troublesome, Han Yanyan thought. This had not been reflected in 'The Autobiography of Leo'.
She put on the dress and shoes that Leo had prepared for her and sat quietly in the room.
The room had been cleaned while she was taking a shower. Even the mirror over the desk had been replaced with a new one. Han Yanyan sat quietly by the bed for a while, but Leo did not appear again.
She raised her head and called into the air, "Leo? Leo?"
Leo didn't answer, but the spaceship's central system responded, "Han Yanyan, do you need something?"
"I'm hungry," she replied.
"Please wait a moment."
A short time later, she heard the sound of Leo's voice saying, "Follow the green light."
The cabin door opened, and Han Yanyan walked out of the bedroom, following the green instructions lighting up on the floor. At the end of the lights, she found the mess hall.
It was smaller than she had thought it would be, much smaller than the dining hall of an average spaceship. Han Yanyan was familiar with spaceships, thanks to the mecha world, and she could see that this one had been modified. There was only a single table in the entire hall.
Leo Parker had no intention of dining with anyone else or living with anyone else. He was prepared to stay away from others, living alone for the rest of his life.
"What do you want to eat?" Leo asked.
He was wearing a shirt, his hair a little messy. His nosebleed was gone, but she could see that his nose was slightly bruised. Standing face to face with him from such a near distance, she realized that Leo was quite tall, and stronger than she had thought. No wonder she hadn't been able to break free when he had held her arm.
It was the first time Han Yanyan had calmly observed him. Leo felt uncomfortable all over.
On the Internet, he had a great deal to say and could out-geek anyone else, but when it came to going on a date with a girl in real life, it was as if his mouth was sewn shutThis sentence used the delightful saying of 'three blows wouldn't even get a fart out of his mouth' hahaha.

Fortunately, Leo had been beaten up by Han Yanyan not long after having met in person. He no longer felt any sort of opposite-sex tension, at least not to the point of being mute. Pulling a holographic screen from the air, he swung it to face her. "Choose what you want."
Han Yanyan pulled out her chair and sat down, scrolling through page after page on the menu. "What have I been eating for the last half month? Nutritional supplements?"
Leo snorted, pulled out a chair and sat. "Nutritional supplements, my ass. The dormant cabin contains my very own exclusive formula of body culture fluid. You lucked out on a huge bargain."
Han Yanyan didn't bother to address such shameless words. She chose something that looked like steak and a few other sides.
After turning off the holographic screen, she raised her eyes to him. "Once I've eaten this meal, will there be another?"
"That depends on your performance," Leo sneered. After having been violently beaten, he was no longer afraid of her. Her spiritual strength was suppressed by the syringe around her neck, and her physical strength was inferior to his. Although she was skilled at hand-to-hand combat, he was the master of this ship, and defensive weaponry was everywhere.
No matter how you looked at it, at this moment he was strong and she was weak.
Food was quickly served by a robot. The thing that looked like a steak was definitely not steak. She wasn't sure what sort of animal it was, but though its texture was quite good, the taste was average, as if a bad cook had ruined a good ingredient. Considering Leo's solitary nature, Han Yanyan guessed that these foods had been made by a machine. No wonder they tasted mediocre.
She had even ordered herself some wine. How could one have meat without wine? Who knew if there would be another meal after this one, so she had to at least eat well.
It seemed as though Han Yanyan was taking full advantage of the moment to enjoy herself.
Leo was pleased. Taking huge bites of his own meat, he munched away. His table manners were much worse than Han Yanyan's, who had now been an Eldest Miss in two worlds, worse even than Yao Chen, who had studied to ape the manners of the upper class. Her strict Eldest Miss gaze could pick out no less than ten things he was doing that were inappropriate.
But she just sipped her wine indifferently, looking completely uninterested.
Leo ate his fill. It had been a long time since he had actually sat down at the dining table to eat. When he was alone, he ate wherever he wanted, sometimes not even bothering to eat but just drinking a tube of nutrient solution. He did not indulge in food or clothing, housing or transportation, and had little in the way of material desires.
"Let's get to it." Leo wiped his mouth with a napkin, threw it aside, and rapped on the table. "As long as you stop going crazy, I'll let you take a break outside once in a while. After you've rested, you can get back to work."
"Where's that great, noble Duke?" Han Yanyan asked. "Aren't his people holding your little life in their hands? And what about that person? I remember seeing him back then. Where has he gone?"
"He went back. With you in this state, unable to do any work, why would he stay here? He headed back for now," Leo said.
"Back?" Han Yanyan asked, stunned.
Leo's face turned black at the mention of the aide. "Outside," he pointed.
Han Yanyan looked in the direction of his finger and saw the porthole on the wall. She hesitated, then stood, walked to the porthole, and looked out.
In the quiet, dark universe, stars flickered and faded amidst the dazzling nebulae. Through the small porthole, Han Yanyan saw that they were surrounded on all sides by battleships, top and bottom, left and right.
The jet-black battleships were still, quietly reflecting the light of the stars in the silent universe, their sharp lines gleaming with an icy sheen. Their looming cannons pointed toward Leo's spaceship, poised to turn him into dust at any moment.
Han Yanyan has experienced the world of mecha and was no stranger to spacecraft. It was precisely because she understood and was an expert that she was so shocked.
To have a fleet of warships arrayed like this, their sharp, cold killing intent spreading throughout the quiet universe, a fleet that had clearly experienced the baptism of war - who could such a powerful force belong to?
The answer couldn't be clearer.
Yao Calande, Duke of Kline.
