Chapter 32: Usage of the Yeouiju

[Lee Jeong-Hun's POV]

After the raid on the Imoogi. I took the chance to secure a secluded area with no interruption to absorb the Yeouiju. The key issue of absorbing a material is absolute concentration and willpower. The moment someone else interrupts you or the moment you lose focus for even half a second, your entire body will collapse under the power and you die.

Taking out the Yeouiju with anticipation, I prepared myself for the pain and suffering that is to come while absorbing the orb. I had my other items all ready up as well, recovery potion, mana potion as well as some pills to keep my body at bay.

"Let's start." As I grab the Orb and crushed it. The result for crushing the incomplete Yeouiju happens to be a smaller orb appearing inside. I grabbed the small orb and swallowed in down my throat without any hesitation.

I quickly readied myself as I started meditation and Cultivation. It was not easy as out of nowhere a vast amount of energy worth at least 999 years was entering my body and I had to find a way to spread that energy out before it destroy me from inside.

The pain from trying to prevent any of the energy from running out of my body, started to take it's course as the 2 different energies met and are rampaging within. The blood vessels on my starts to pop out as I start coughing out blood still trying to keep them at bay. My body was in a constant ripping and tearing as the muscle in my body felt as like it's in the grinder being ruptured.

I used one of the Cultivation's Technique to spiral the two energies right near in the centre. Spinning it in the center works as the both energies are slowly but sure mixing with one another, overlapping each other the more it spins. However just turning one of them took a great huge effort as I checked my status on my health.

HP: 2333 / 4750 (Dropping)

I took a couple of health potion and gulped in down, hoping that there would be enough potion to last me through the night. As I continue to breathe and focus on overlapping both the energies.

After what felt like an eternity, it looked like the process was completed. It seemed like both energy have fused completely.

The effect was overwhelming good. In this time, I thought I was progressing my level at a rather fast pace but, taking this item cause my stats to be almost doubled.

I had a new skill on top of that. Dragonic Blood.

Extremely useful skill. On top of being passive, it can be continuedly used to level up as well. The title also gave me some extra effects that benefitted me well.

As I inspect the Status Effect even more. A Crow appears from the windows of my isolation room.

I grabbed my gears and head out of the room.

Looks like some of them found me. They were all armed as well. Judging by how they are geared at looked. They should be at least an B rank and above. There were at least 9 of them ambushing me. One of them starts casting a spell in Runic language as the rest charges towards me with Melee weapon. I unsheathe my sword and slash and hack my way towards to caster. Before I knew it, I went through 6 of them in less than a second, killing them all by cutting them in half.

Shocked by the increases in speed and power that I weld now. I slowly walk towards the caster.

The Caster started screaming:

"AIEEEERRHHGHH" in horror as all her teammates were cut in half in less than a second.

"Please.....We didn't know....We wouldn't have messed with you if we knew....Have Mercy on me. What do you want? Money? Power? I can get that for you! Let me go! Please!"

Without batting an eye, I swung my sword with no hesitation. Staring coldly in her eyes as her head got decapitated and drops on the floor. I looked at the blood and dead bodies around me, and with the help of Ifrit, I burned all of it until no trace of them could be found. 

 

[Level Up]

"Heh. Even the system recognized them as Monsters when killing them."

As I swung my sword to get rid of all the bloodstain sticking on to it. I stare at the Crow looking at me from afar, warning the person who was watching through the eyes of the Crow.

I warned:

"I'm coming for you next." before burning the Crow up with Ifrit's flame.

Leaving the woods, in the middle of the night. I continued walking forward under the view of a beautiful full moon.
