Chapter 10: Author Note/ Explanation on Power System

Author Note: Hello Everyone it's Riz! We recently hit 1k views on Voyceme and that makes me so happy. But there's one big problem. 

We are entering Fighting Territory and I still haven't given an full explanation of the power system. Normally I would gradually show this over time, but I'm planning on relaunching the series during my hiatus period. 

So without that out of the way I brought Scarlet Blaze our beloved teacher to introduce the power system. 

"Hello Everyone! It's me Scarlet here to give the run down on The Power System. " 

Impurities are the biological power source or energy of a Esper, that resides in an individual that is produced by an biotherm genetic code known as Seed, It’s unclear the origin of the seed.  However there is an limit to how much impurities we can produce this is called Output. 

There are 4 seeds types: Elemental, Enchantment, Deviant, and Hybrid 

Elementals being able to grant the user elemental powers such as fire, water, wind, and earth.

Enhancers being able to enhance individuals physical abilities such as super strength, super seed, etc

Deviant being an category that retains to paranormal abilities such as telekinesis, ability to see the future, etc ‘

Hybrid being able to possess two or more types, as the more common to have elemental abilities mixed with enhancement. For example Superman/Spiderman would classify as a hybrid since they have multiple abilities. 

However if user exceed their impurity output it can cause damage to their body and in worst cases can kill them. So the government issue limiters that can serve as multiple things such as ranking system or an way to control your powers as an video game. It’s called The GRID SYSTEM. 

 Individuals impurities has an output. You know how in video games you have that line that incandite your power so when it’s empty you’re out of power. 

So say if your output is 30, you supposed to usually use around 15 percent of that output, but if you hit 30 that’s your limit and the limiter will shut off your power for the day.

 However some people found an way to bypass their limiter, but if you that person bypass 50 that will damage their body and could kill them as their body can only handle up to 30 % of the impurities in your body. 

 Epser are ranked on their Seed output 

10-30 is E-F class

40-60 C-D tier

70-80 is A -B tier tier 

90+ is S tier (This is my student Deus output >.<)

However there is an way for you to surpass and even output as seed go through evaluation.

Seeds goes through three stages 

Infant Stages(beginning stages) are the growing stages of your seed. The impurities are infant and is unstable and hard to rank potential.

Adolescence stages (Intermediate stages) when your seed start developing and in the middle ground in terms of power and potential can be scale. 

Prime Stages(Advanced Stages) The seed is fully developed and reach the prime in terms of power. 

The Prime Stage in particular is very special as it can be an form. You seen Deus use this in Chapter 6 and it's very powerful form. 

Let me give you an battle example. 

So let's say if we have an battle between two elemental for example lighting and wind. 

As some of you know Wind negate Lighting so the Esper with the lighting abilities will be at an disadvantage and won't have free range of his abilities. 

Same applies to Fire vs Water Elemental. 

But what about Enchaner. Enchaner can enhance thier physical abilities such as strength or speed, so they are more close ranged fighters. And be at disadvantage against long ranged fighters. 

What about Hybrid, Deus is classified as an Hybrid as he wield both enchaner and elemental abilities. They are really strong, but very rare. In your world Superman will be classified as an hybrid due to many powers he wielded. 

Deviant powers can range from good to useless depending on the abilities given. This can ranged from telekinesis or healing. 

Anyways enough of that. This is the short run through of the power system. As you can see this power system is inspired by World Trigger and other shonen anime in many way.

Anyways there only be two chapters remaining before I go on hiatus. So stay tuned I be taking this hiatus to review my series and improve upon it during the relaunched.
