Two years have passed since I was released from the experiment.

Alea iacta est.
Leaning up against my cold kitchen counter, I felt warm red liquid dripping all down my face. Goddammit, I need to grab my anaemia medicine... where was it again? Fuck, why is everything going blurry; I need to get the pills! Breath after breath, I could feel the strength draining away from my body.
Feeling around the grimy, filthy counter, I felt my hand smear through layers of uncleaned dishes. The remainder of the curry I had a few days ago stuck onto my fingers, lathering them with a disgusting, soiled smell. God, this is putrid.
Spreading the remains of the last few nights' dinners across the granite surface, I finally felt something that seemed like a dosette box. Pulling it towards me, it suddenly fell off of the counter, smashing into the ground. Like a pile of leaves, the small red-and-white capsules spread all across the floor.
Ugh... I don't think I can hold out much longer.
The blood gushing out of my nose mixed with the various substances on the ground. I was basically sitting in a puddle made of my blood and various other... things. I tried to scoop up the little red pills. However, my coordination was completely broken. I couldn't even see where my hands were.
Escaping my grasp, the pills flew around the ground, scattering as I tried to pick them up.
Huh?
I heard my door swing wide open. For a moment, I thought it was going to fly straight off of its hinge, destroying my pitiful little property. Through the narrow gap, a tall man wearing dark, business-like attire walked through. Penetrating my slowly-fading consciousness, I could hear his loud, patronising footsteps.

"Look at yourself."
Before I could say something back, I felt my body completely shut down. Like the controller to life had disconnected, I couldn't feel... anything... anymore...
However, just before I completely disappeared, I saw the silhouette of a young girl standing behind the man.
I guess this was it...
How ironic. I bet this wasn't how the scientists thought I'd die...
Hahaha.
Take this as a message—you don't get to manufacture geniuses.
