In the meeting room, the oracle who had made the prophecy that gathers the gods here was recounting in detail what she had seen in her vision.

When she finished her tale the whole room was dead silent, the atmosphere was heavy and oppressive, so much so that if an ordinary god were present among them, he would have probably fainted on the spot, this is one of the reasons why only a few select gods were present at this meeting if you are judge lacking in any way such as rank, power, levelheadedness... you are excluded.

The one who broke this oppressive silence was Poseidon the god of the oceans who let out a sigh before saying

"So there's a new threat hanging over our head huh, again! I not even surprised..."

"We will overcome it, together... like we did all the others, That's why we are here!" said Zeus confidently reassuring everyone

"... Did something happen to your eyes, oracle?" while the others were focus on what they heard, Queen of the underworld asks

It was usual for an oracle to always have her eyes covered always her eyes covered with a mask or a blindfold so no one noticed anything unusual, but for her, who was often in contact with entities like Hecate who could read the stars or the sisters of fates something seemed strange with the oracle blindfold, so she decided to inquires.

Hearing Persephone's question the oracle displayed a surprised expression that changed to become a sad smile, she then removed her blindfold, and when she did, it incited variety reactions of from the gods present, going from shock, surprise, to disgust and even fear for others, and it was because when she removes the blindfold they saw two empty eye sockets with a terrible and disgusting scar going from the tip of the nose to her forehead exuding a devilish aura.

"Someone.. or rather something interfered with the vision that I receive, and this is the unfortunate result of that even! I am no longer able to do any prophecy, the same fate befell all oracles who tried to pry on the matter after me." she said putting back her blindfold

"You must already know that but any being able to stop a prophecy cannot be ordinary, be very careful" she ended

"Thank you for your services, you have done enough for us," replies Demeter with a gentle voice followed by the others before she was escorted outside to receive further treatment.

After the oracle left the discussions resumed with more intensity,

"If what he said is true, the situation may be worse than what we thought..." Zeus said

"Do any of you as an idea from where the menace is coming from?"

"It may be the work of a primordial!"

"They never involve themself in our business why would they begin now?"

"..."

A debate began with everyone contributing as he could, after a moment when the debate became heated Poseidon asked "It may be the work of Chronos, a titan of his caliber could do it, time is his specialty! Isn't that right, Oceanus!?"

Oceanus one of the elders' titans, didn't respond immediately and just stared at Poseidon for a moment before replying, "Yes, he could... if he were free, if he hadn't been cut into pieces, put in a box and tossed into the bottom of Tartarus… don't tell me that you've already forget!?" he asked with a tinge of exasperation and anger in his voice

"Oh, I was just wondering if you knew anything, after all, some of your people have been pretty active lately, haven't they, that's pretty suspicious," Poseidon replied.

"What do you mean by that?" he replied

"I mean, that you may know something that we don't!"

The face of Amphitrite at his side darken a little seeing his husband exchange with Oceanus, she didn't want to embarrass him by taking another side in public so she leaned toward him and tried to get him to refocus on the real issue at hand.

"We wouldn't have to be so active as you said if you were able to just control your children, and stop their chaotic escapade in my territory, you know I pity your people to be under such an incompetent ruler must be hard!"

The comment of Oceanus angered Poseidon greatly, to be honest, he was a little insecure about his position as king of the sea, that insecurity began after Athena defeated him for the ownership of the city of Athene.

Even though it was only a competition that he didn't take seriously after his defeat rumor began to spread about his ability if he wasn't even able to be a goddess of the younger generation and that Oceanus the old titan who still possess an enormous influence in the sea and who sill have a power equal to his in despite his great age was a better fit for the throne, and now this prophecy was transforming his little insecurity in a fear.

"That's enough!" said Amphitrite no longer able to support them "We are here to find solutions to the threat that weighs on us all, not for you to settle your old score"

Showing a king smile the old titan said "True, my lady, thank you for your intervention!" he then turned to Poseidon with a condescending gaze like he was saying 'she is a better ruler than you!'

At this point when the calm was about to return and the discussion the King of Gods Zeus said something that cast a shadow on all that

"In our situation, I only see one person who has the abilities, the power, and the resources to threaten all of Olympus by himself,"

Looking at his elder brother in the eyes he said firmly "It's you Hades!"

"Say hi to daddy"

Looking at the innocent baby in his hand and at his wife on the bed Argus felt his resolve wave,

'Maybe, I am wrong! Maybe it's my child after all' he thought, but nearly at the same moment one of the prestresses talked to him

"My king, the baby must be must be presented to the gods to receive their blessing."

That sentence was enough to erase all the incertitude that he felt, reality hit him hard again

"Of course, he must be presented to his real father and his family, right!?" he said looking at the prestress coldly

His sentence stunned everyone present in the room they were dumbfounded not knowing how to react in the moment

"Wh- why? What have you done?" said Myrcela finally grasping what just happen

He just looked at her with a smile, who made her shiver in fear

"Died!" at that moment the two prestress present in the room jumped toward him at full speed trying to kill him but before they reach him both of the prestresses were stopped by four warriors who burst into the room attacking them from both sides.

"Take her!" Said Argus walking outside, while playing with the newborn baby in hand

"Apostle! When did you become an apostle? Wait, don't touch me!!" scream Myrcela fighting with one of the warriors who lifts her and follow Argus outside.

"I know about your cheating.." he said as he walked

"If you know, then you must know who the father of the baby is! If you do anything to this child you will regret it even in death!!" she said with a menacing tone

Argus didn't know if it was her true nature or if she was like that because the life her child was in danger but it didn't matter right now

Once outside the scream of Myrcela stopped as she looked dumbfounded at the street where she could distinguish the body of prestresses laying lifeless on the floor and that certain places of the city that she recognize as the temples of the city of Argus were on fire

"As you can see my dear I can no longer afford to stop, not until Zeus is eliminated!"
