"The end of an age! A new age of heros!

According to trustworthy sources, four young graduates from Hummings University worked together to make the impossible possible!

We just got fresh news from the hero association that, this last Frida-15 of May, a group of four Hummings University Alumni, the oldest barely over the age of 23, grouped up together with the sole purpose of Killing The S-Rank Hyper-Super type monster known as Hummingbird, saving the city of Monte Salva and fulfilling the wish their University had ever since it's creation.

Not only were they the first people to ever manage to guess the monstrous creature's target ahead of time, but they also somehow intercepted it on the city's north walls before it got to the center and most populated area of the metropolis.

For those of you that might have lived under a rock for the last 183 years and might not know how impressive of a feat it is or are asking questions such as: "Why didn't they tell the people to evacuate ?" or "Why couldn't anyone stop the Hummingbird before it reached the walls?" then, BOY, do I have news for you!

The following text is an excerpt from the Hummingbird wiki inside the public library database. Be aware that while the wiki got updated with the new class System, we, over in the office, decided to add in the monster's old rank to give you, readers, an idea of its strength and danger.

"Hummingbird, Super-Hyper Monster, class 3-rank S:

(Power's danger to government: class 3, Strenght rank: S, power type

Supernatural and Hypernatural)

Funnily enough, the monster named "Hummingbird" is neither a bird nor does it hum. Instead, it's a beast that resembles a Pteromyini (flying squirrel).

It was named Hummingbird because of its green and blue colorations, its tremendous speeds, and the sounds it makes when it flies at Hypernatural speeds, which are said to resemble a hummingbird.

...

Super Flight, Hyper-speed, Hyper-senses, Hyper-durability, and Super poison manipulation are a few of the many powers this monster is known to have.

While every power would be strong enough on its own, if one were to put everything together inside of a 3 tonnes body, then that someone would get The Hummingbird.

Yet, it's not this that makes it deserve a class 2, a class known for paralyzing whole continents' government bodies, but the fact that it is being protected and aided by the terrorist organization, The Perfected Ones.

It wasn't designated as class 1 because, while it possesses a high level of combat strength and is actively trying to attack human cities, it wouldn't have enough influence to destabilize the government bodies of every country on earth, only the particular ones on the continent it finds itself in.

..."

As seen from this excerpt, The Hummingbird resembled more an unstoppable force of nature, like a typhoon, than a monster. Too fast to stop before it reaches a city and too heavily protected to ambush, at least with our current technology and heroes.

These facts made every hero think humanity would need at least 3 S-ranks to work together to kill it, having required 2 to stop its attacks and repel it from the now-destroyed city of belse.

So, how did a team of 3 A-ranks and 1 B-ranks, in which no less than three members are from the logistics department instead of the hero course, manage to kill it? It'll all be revealed in tomorrow's newspaper or at Seven via radio during our EXCLUSIVE Interview with the four young adults."

Overly enthusiastic gentleman, 15 May 1983 - Reporter - Paper kept on the Heroes Museum, Disaster age section.
