As Nolin fell down, the knight looked down after him, but it was dark, and he could see nothing, so he walked back to the other man, who was just looking at him.

"Take care of the others."

Said the knight while he was still walking, and the moment he got next to the stationary man, he slashed the air with his blade, creating a small purple cut in it which then expanded until it was larger than him; then he walked straight into it.

The man stepped into a throne room of some sort. In it, there were ten pillars made of glowing purple crystals, which emitted a light aura, and were used for illumination. In the centre of the room, a long purple carpet was laid, going from one side of the room where the door was located, not too far from the knight, all the way to the other, where a throne was located. On the throne, a middle-aged man was sitting. He had long brown hair and purple eyes, and he was unshaven. He was wearing a majestic, mostly black, slightly purple gown with a golden helmet decorated with countless tiny pieces of gems, and at the top of it, there was a large purple gem.

"State your business!"

Declared the monarch with a powerful voice, and the knight instantly fell to his knees and stared at the ground.

"Your Majesty! I-I have come to report that I... I was unable to fulfil your orders... The one you assigned us to defeat and bring before you managed to escape."

"Escape, you say? I believe it was more like you were about to kill him, and instead of hitting him, you hit the ground, causing the ground to collapse, and he fell down! Don't you agree?!"

"Y-yes, Your Highness... It is just as you have said!"

"Search the area thoroughly! Also, I am sure he will be back... His friends will be kept as our hostages, and you are to stand guard and administer them from now on. If they escape... One of the other divisions will get the opportunity to feast on you!"

"Y-yes, your highness, I will not fail you! I will do my very best to fulfil your orders!"

"Tell your supervisor to come here; I have to have a word with him. Now go!"

"Y-yes, of course!"

Said the knight, stood up, bowed, then turned around and left the room. The moment the knight left the room, a slight smile appeared on the monarch's face.

"Nolin Wonderiech... You are a feisty one, aren't you...You have become quite interesting... It warms my heart, really... You managed to defeat my messenger previously, and now you managed to survive an attack from one of my trained underlings. Let's meet soon!"

Thought the monarch and was about to laugh out loud, but suddenly the throne room's door opened, and three men walked in wearing plated armour. One of them was wearing a black one with a black cape, the other had a red garment, and the third had grey equipment. The three of them walked closer to the ruler, bowed then kneeled down.

"My lord!"

Declared the three of them simultaneously, then they all looked up at their ruler at the same time, who was coldly glaring at the one in black armour.

"Black... I believe I have given exact orders regarding the newcomers, yet one of your subordinates failed to accomplish my desires... I do hope you realise what that means, and I do hope you are well aware of the consequences that are to come due to your incompetence."

"But, sire!"

Spoke up the one in red armour.

"Silence!"

Echoed the monarch's shout across the room.

"I... I am well aware, sire! And I accept any punishment that may befall me! It was I who sinned and failed to meet your expectation by not doing the task myself. I have foolishly entrusted the task to one of my men!"

"Don't fail me again... Otherwise, it would be quite hard to find someone suitable to be in your place... Also, I have other tasks for you, and if you manage to complete them perfectly, I will forgive you, but should you fail again... You know what will happen. Now go; I will send you the task later today.!"

"Yes, sire!"

Said the man in black armour and stood up, then left the room.

"As for you!"

Said the ruler as he looked at first the man wearing the red armour and then at the one in the grey armour.

"I was expecting you to come later, but it doesn't matter. I presume your tasks are going smoothly, right?"

"Y-yes, sire!"

"Good. Now, I hope the corruption is going just as perfectly as I have envisioned!"

"Although we have run into some complications, everything is going according to your plan."

"Excellent. Send someone to find Nolin Wonderiech and challenge him. I want to see what he is capable of! I want to see him grow. I want to see him mature, and then he can finally be harvested and used in my plans. Speaking of Nolin. How are things going in his world? What do you know about Blue and Yellow?"

"Sire... I don't know how they dare not inform you about it sooner! It seems they only sent us a message. They said that they have found out that there are four powerhouses in that world whose jobs are to maintain the balance. They said that they only managed to find four, but it is possible that there are more. Although they are powerful, Blue said you should be able to defeat them easily! "

"I see; in that case, they can start the corruption slowly. We don't want to rush it now, do we? You two should go and help them should they need any help. You can leave now!"
