Everything was going well. The landscape was starting to take shape and the construction of buildings was almost done.
"I never thought it would turn out this amazing!" Lillian says with a smile.
The three of them no longer needed to help as the Landscapers were now dealing with the difficult stuff.
The buildings they wanted were nearly completed and the day was almost over.
Kyoto was talking with a construction worker to see how much longer it would take to complete other buildings.
"We'll have to come back tomorrow, we only agreed on a day, but we don't like leaving things unfinished." The construction chief says.
As for the landscapers they said they would be done by tonight.
"Should we go check in on the Boss?" Pen asked Lillian.
"You go ahead I want to see the finished landscape once it's done." She tells him.
Pen nods and entered the newly upgraded base. Looks like the mechanic and computer engineer have been working hard because everything looks different.
The counters were gone and replaced with supercomputers. Along the walls were even more computers and with a bigger space, many types of machinery went with the computers.
On the left wall was a small staircase leading up to a room that had a long glass window. he learned this was the control room for the mechanic.
The room had equipment for the mechanic to make new things and an electric component for the base.
They were still working and finishing the blueprint.
Pen walked up to the cluster of computers in the middle of the room where E.C.S used to lie on a counter.
The tablet was now placed on top of the cluster of computers inside of a battery-like component.
There was a bigger computer hanging from the ceiling with E.C.S displayed on it.
"Boss, how are you feeling?" Pen asked looking up at the screen.
E.C.S: [It's a lot better than before. I have a better reach thanks to those two. I can feel myself being attached to the other buildings as well.]
Pen looked over at the left wall which had a long line of small tubes, "what are those for?" He wondered aloud.
Utan came up beside him, "they're for delivery, these tubes will lead to all the buildings to deliver things like tasks, items, and whatnot. It makes it easier so that no one has to walk to Center Base to receive their tasks and rewards." She explained.
Center Base? Sounds good.
"By the way did you come to check on the boss?" Utan asked.
"Yeah, but I can see the boss is doing fine." He answers.
"Just wait for the results, we are still not done, the mechanic and I." She says before walking away to work.
He glanced up at the control room where he could barely make out Mr. Rui through the glass.
Pen turned and exited Center Base.
"Yo, you're back. I want you to come to check this out!" Lillian waved him over.
He was now walking a path to a nearby building. This was the Food and Entertainment center, it was located thirty meters from Center Base.
Lillian stood by the entrance and grabbed his hand once he reached her.
"Let's go in, all the furnishings were just placed." She says dragging him inside.
They entered the building and he was taken aback by the retro decorations.
Lillian showed him the Common Room where the cafeteria and kitchen were located at the end of the hall.
They then turned back around and entered other rooms; there was a library, a game room, a lounge with a bar, and other activities.
They went back to the front entrance, "great, right?" She asked grinning.
The other finished building was the Alliance Hall, what they decided to call it, it was the biggest building on the land other than the Laboratory that was still being built.
"They are just finishing up the Male and Female Lodgings. Those should be done soon. Also, as you can see the landscapers finished the track field behind the Alliance Hall." Lillian says leading him to the Alliance Hall.
It was bigger than he imagined, and beyond the track and field was a huge plot of grass for other activities.
"Let's head inside the Alliance Hall," Lillian says to him.
The Alliance Hall was different from the Food and Entertainment Center. The decorations were more modern and the huge foyer led to different areas of the building.
"There are at least four floors, that's not including the underground training room and gym. On this floor, we have the reception and testing area. It's where the hunters are signed in and then tested," Lillian leads him to the front desk and then through the back.
Equipment for testing mana, strength, and endurance were set up in the back.
"On the second floor, there's a meeting room for Hunters to gather, come on I'll show you."
Lillian leads him to the elevators on the right wall where they went up to the second floor.
"Here we are," She swept her arm toward the wooden double doors which she opened and led him inside.

A long oval wooden table sat in the middle with many chairs. On the wall at the end was a large television, which he assumed was for briefing.
It suddenly powered on by itself.
E.C.S: [Greetings, welcome to the meeting room.]
Pen was shocked. Lillian laughs, "don't be surprised, you'll be seeing the boss being set up in other places and buildings as well."
"Ah, this is where you two were." Kyoto stood at the entrance of the meeting room.
"They're just finishing up the landscape, the path leading to the road has been completed. To keep anyone from entering an electric fence was built all away around the forest with a gate as an entrance to the road. Utan set up security cameras and door access where only those authorized could enter. Here the mechanic wanted me to hand these out." Kyoto held up ID passes that had security chips embedded into them.
Lillian held up hers to look at her photo, "Woah, when did I take this?" She asked.
"The image was captured and printed using a machine the mechanic made. For now on, if we want to enter most rooms, we will need these IDs." Kyoto says.
"Let's go check out the other two floors," Lillian told them.
"Sounds like a plan, I also want to see how things turned out." Kyoto agreed.
The three of them checked out the rest of the Alliance Hall. On the third floor of the Alliance Hall was where they each had their own workrooms and not just them but future subordinates as well.
Pen had his own Intel Agency Room, It was a room with long lines of desks for employees who will work under him.
Lillian had her own Recruitment Center. It's where the intel agency sends intel on possible recruits and the recruitment team will receive this intel to go recruit them.
Kyoto had a small office but that was it since he'll mostly be in the underground lab.
Other rooms were empty for now since they were no other people but the three of them.
The night finally came and the three of them joined the landscapers outside.
"It's finished! It looks great!" Lillian says excitedly.
Paths were led up to each building and there was a path that stopped halfway between the trees.
If one went that way they would be heading to the underground lab that was 2oo meters out.
"We closed in two hundred thousand acres of land, while we were out there we discovered three dungeons and two caves so we thought you'd want to close them in." Miss Kim states handing over the information on those dungeons.
"I didn't expect that kind of luck," Pen says receiving the intel.
"We'll have to show boss." Kyoto points out.
Pen nods in agreement.
"Well, we had fun with the blueprints. We would like to thank you guys for the experience."
They shook hands with Miss Kim, Kyoto turned to Lillian and gave her a signal.
"I'll lead you and your team out safely," Lillian says getting his signal.
"So once they leave out of those gates, they won't remember anything?" Pen asked.
"Nothing." Kyoto answered.
"Come on, let's leave that to Lillian. The night is about over I'm starving."
"The cafeteria?" Pen asked.
"Right," Kyoto answered. "You'll have to cook, though. We didn't hire any chefs."
The two of them walked to the Food and Entertainment Center.
"We do have food, right?" Pen asked.
"Of course, I had all the food ingredients delivered once the Kitchen was finished," Kyoto answered.
Meanwhile, Lillian was escorting the landscapers out. Just as Kyoto said, they forgot everything once they exited through the gates.
They had nothing to worry about. The gate closed on its own and she walked the two miles back.
