The System’s Era

Mana, essence of the universe, mystic energy, fuel of magic, and fantasy. How many of us have dreamed of wielding it? To become like our heroes, invincible and incredible existence standing above all.
Still, how far is the dream from reality? What if we were really given such an opportunity? What if a world barren of mana suddenly overflowed with it?
Will it be a blessing or a calamity? A beginning or an end?
The answer to those questions, Jay didn’t know them, nor did he care about them. As the world ushered into a new era, as he heard that cold voice asking him to survive, he couldn’t care whether this was a nightmare or a dream. All he could see was an opportunity.
The opportunity to finally find his purpose, to truly find a place he belongs to.
