Darell, Emma, Lilith, Eric, and Ariel arrived at the entrance of the dungeon. The name of the dungeon was written in brilliant colors which would make someone, who is unaware, think that they have arrived at a luxurious palace but people like Darell and the others who were aware of the history would never think that.

The entrance of the dungeon was closed by a huge metal door that was 5 meters wide and 10 meters tall. It had an engraving that depicted a  large weird idol with ruby eyes which sat on a platform in an alcove.

They pushed the door open and for a second, the ruby eyes of the idol shone but they quickly disappeared.

They stepped inside and were instantly teleported to the first floor of the dungeon.

The first floor of this dungeon was entirely different compared to what they saw in the Abyss of Scorched Ravens.

The ground was lush with green grass and numerous tall trees danced along with the wind. The sky was completely white, unlike the reddish sky they had seen in the Abyss of Scorched Ravens.

They were fascinated with the beauty of the first floor. They quickly shook their head when they realized they were inside a dungeon. This beautiful atmosphere was just a farce for what was hidden deep in this dungeon.

The dungeon they had entered was named Chambers Of The Forsaken Draathil.

This dungeon had been created by someone as a death trap. It was conquered by people thousands of years ago but at that time it was filled with undead creatures. Whenever they thought they had conquered the dungeon, they were proven wrong by the numerous undead that would spring back to life.

But, they couldn't let go of the dungeon as it provided them with exciting rewards.

This dungeon was located in the southernmost part of the kingdom. It was surrounded by a forest in which thousands of beasts lived.

A Draathil also lived among the beasts. It was a Light ability beast. Usually, beasts with Light ability would blind people who came in contact with them and run away or they wouldn't create conflict instantly.

The Draathil also showed this behavior but one day, it grew mad and attacked the nearby beasts and ate them. It went out of the forest and into the nearby towns where it killed hundreds of men, women, and children.

The King at that time with his most trusted allies decided to kill it but when they arrived at the town, the Draathil was alerted and ran away. They chased it through the forest and it accidentally entered the dungeon.

The King thought that the beast would die easily in the dungeon and left.

However, the Draathil, thousands of years later became the master of the dungeon and got trapped inside it. But, it would use its minions to bring the bodies of the people who entered the dungeon to it where it would feast upon them.

This dungeon was a rank 08 dungeon thousands of years ago but it became a rank 06 dungeon because the Draathil was a rank 06 beast. It had 20 floors and the Draathil was present on the last floor.

Darell and the others unsheathed their weapons and got ready to attack.

They saw 20 Light Goblins chopping down a tree. When they saw Darell and the others, they ran toward them immediately and Darell could see a bit of bloodlust in their eyes.

Darell unsheathed his new sword which he got from the weapons hall because his previous sword had been shattered during his battle with the Scorched Raven General.

Darell heard a notification from the system.

Darell smiled as he saw the new quest and pointed it toward the incoming Light goblins.

Usually, goblins had dark green skin but these Light goblins were created by the Draathil and had pure white skin and white eyes.  They were rank 02 beasts. These beasts weren't found in any part of the world and can only be created by a Light ability user. The Light goblins held axes in their hands.

Darell cut down the first goblin instantly. Darell could feel that his strength, agility, etc had increased. He felt a surge of excitement running through his blood. He cut down two more goblins as he used his sword combat technique Earth - Shattering Slash.

Lilith used her Ice skills to bind some of the goblins to chains and used her sword to behead them. She also used her Ice skills to freeze some of them and turn them into statues. She then killed them.

Eric used his bare strength to kill the goblins easily. As he had been killing the beasts in the Forbidden Forest, his basic stats were that of a rank 04 beast. So, he thought it wasn't wise to deal with a rank 02 beast by using his skills.

Ariel used her Sound skills to burst open the goblins' heads while they were far away from her. She was disgusted by the goblins and didn't want their blood on her.

Emma, on the other hand, wasn't doing anything and was casually standing among them. When they first entered the dungeon, Emma being a Light ability user could feel her MP growing. She realized that it was because the Draathil was a Light ability user and it had converted the dungeon entirely to provide it more prowess if someone challenged it.

She knew that all of them didn't have to participate in every fight.

As Darell cut down the last goblin, he heard a new notification from the system.

Darell smiled and turned around to look at his friends. None of them had any difficulty killing the goblins.

Since no portal appeared in front of them after killing the goblins, they realized that they had to find the portal themselves.

They had no problem with it because they also wanted to explore the beautiful atmosphere of the floor.

After a few minutes of exploring, they stumbled upon a beautiful lake whose water looked pristine which left them mesmerized by it.

They washed their clothes, swords, and themselves in the lake.

To be honest, Darell felt very happy and relieved when he saw their smiling and laughing faces in contrast to the tearful and sad faces that he saw when he woke up. He thought that it was some kind of luck for them in being chosen for this dungeon.

After a couple of hours, they were walking through the beautiful forest and they saw a green-colored portal ahead of them.

They unsheathed their swords and stepped inside the portal.
