Welp, if you guys couldn't already tell from the latest chapter of TVADE, I'm literally facing an existential crisis.

So, here's the scenario I'm depicting.

Warning: Don't continue reading if you don't want to question the purpose of life.

So, here's my existential crisis:

Alright, so, if you really think about it, the world is basically made up of stories, right?

It's like that saying where, if a tree falls in the middle of a forest, and no one saw it, did it really fall?

Because, if we don't know about something, it never existed in the first place.

Like, if we didn't know about atoms, and were living back in the time before they were discovered, did they exist? No!

So, now, we can all agree that the world is made up of stories, right?

And if we don't continue passing these stories on, then the "existence" of something will disappear, right?

So now, imagine that an infinite amount of time has passed.

Because it is infinity, a single story, it could literally be any story, has a 100% chance of being thought up again.

So like, if humanity went extinct, but life bloomed on another planet, in like, 10 billion years, they would have "discovered" atoms again, and atoms would, after suddenly being nothing, come back into the world of "existence".

When you think about it, it's crazy, right?

So, now, imagine another infinite amount of time has passed.

If nothing happens, this cycle will keep repeating itself, no matter how many dimensions, heat deaths, or big bangs there are, this cycle will always keep going.

So then, the only thing that can break this cycle is an entity that can live forever.

Let's say that this entity "discovers" this idea of "atoms", and will now remember it for the rest of their infinite lifespan.

And, let's say there are an infinite amount of these entities so that they can all remember the "story" of an infinite amount of "existences".

Then, after another infinite amount of time passes, they all still remember everything, and so existence is now infinite, right?

No, that's actually wrong.

You see, when you multiply infinity by infinity, is it bigger than infinity?

Well, the obvious answer is "Yes!", because for any dummy variable "a", a x a > a is always true except for zero and one.

Yet, what if infinity is like the number 0 or 1?

If that's the case, then let us do something weird.

Assuming infinity multiplied by infinity is infinity, like 1 x 1 = 1, we'll do some funny operations.

So, first off, we can all agree that 1^1 = 1, right?

Also, 1^infinity = 1, right?

If you plug in 0, it's the same thing.

But, what if you plug in infinity?

Is, infinity^infinity truly equal to infinity?

And the answer here is no.

Because, first you prove that (infinity - infinity) is not 0 or 1.

And that's pretty easy actually, all you need to do is to notice that, infinity - infinity is actually just any real number.

There's actual math to prove this, but I'm not gonna explain it cause none of y'all would probably understand it.

But, in layman terms, basically, because infinity is infinite, and the other infinity is also infinite, taking one infinity minus the other would equal to infinity.

So, infinity - infinity would be the range of all real numbers.

This proves that infinity does not follow the same rules as 0 or 1.

So, if we take infinity^infinity, it'll be a value greater than infinity.

Now, back to the situation.

Imagine the infinite beings that remember the infinite amount of "stories" to keep into "existence" an infinite amount of things.

So, what if an infinite^infinite amount of time passed?

Being greater than infinity, this would mean that this amount of time would now surpass the lifespan of these infinite beings.

So now, the infinite beings are dead after being subjected to a time skip of infinite^infinite amount of time.

First off, this is why immortality is impossible, and secondly, I just caused myself to experience an existential crisis.

After all, I just proved that an infinite amount of infinite beings remembering an infinite amount of stories controlling the very existence of an infinite amount of things can all shatter and become not infinite under a timespan of infinity^infinity.

So, I've just proven that everything, and I mean everything, dies in the end.

Even infinity.

So, what happens to us? What happens to our souls, or, are we just one time things that disappear after we die as our "soul" is really just a bunch of electrical signals firing?

I mean, even if we had a soul, they'd just all die in the end anyways, as proved above.

So, I'll let you ponder that yourselves, like I'm doing right now.

Anyways, that is the power of infinity and time.

It is, The Law.

A/N: I just realized that I just wrote a whole chapters worth of words in literally 20 minutes.

If only I could have the same work efficiency when I'm writing my novels.

I mean, I wrote this entire thing without my glasses, so I can't really edit any mistakes at all.

Anyways, it's about time I get to the regular stuff...
