Chapter 12: Ch 12. History – Zodiac(2)

Glade opened the book he bought from library on the table in guest room. Currently, he was in a luxurious guest house in the Avalon Palace. The queen allowed him to use it due to his authority of being a saviour of the Gloria.

The room was more than just luxurious. Even in Earth, he haven't seen more beautiful room. The room was decorated with many artistic mana tools.

Mana tools are machines than work on mana that comes from mana stones. In simple mana tools, normal or small mana stone is enough. But more artistic and artifact needs more pure and powerful mana stone.

The king sized bed in the middle of the room with all fluffy materials. The mattress, blanket and pillows are just out of world. Even when Glade just tried to see if it is comfortable, he forgot his worries and sleep started to catch him. But just in time he controlled himself to get up to save himself from the heavenly bed.

From the glass window, the whole kingdom could be seen. And the orange red sky due to sunset could be seen. The fantasy world's beauty made Glade feel like he was in heaven.

The most best thing about the room was about the natural feeling it exudes. It made people feel like they in a middle of a green forest. The tranquility of forest made the sleep very comfortable.

But instead of sleeping soundly, Glade had an important work to do. He has an important mission. The quickly he completes his essentials, he has to leave. He opened the book he bought from the library.

"The story I am going to say might make you feel like a myth, but believe that it's true! I swore on my wings, that whatever I am going say is truth. Due to my lifespan, I was fortunate enought to see the chaos. I didn't want to make my future descendants, see it. But the knowledge must be passed on. To save the kingdom I am proud of, and for its safety. 

I am not a hero. But to save my kingdom, I wrote everything I could find about the beasts that changed the world. The beasts who made this unnamed world change into The World of Zodiac."

"Windsor!? Is the one who wrote this is a royalty?"

In the Kingdom of Gloria, the king's are not chosen by royal families descendants, but by the fate. The destined one is the one who leads the fairy race.

But even though, the kings and queens are not blood related, all of them have the same surname - Windsor.

To give respect to the first king of the Gloria, his surname is passed on to descendants of the throne. So, every king and queen change their surname as soon they are crowned.

"Pondering over the writer isn't going to bring me any merit. I shouldn't worry about a dead person."

Without thinking much about the writer, Glade opened the book's main contents.

"Zodiacs. The beasts of Chaos. This is best way to define them. Because they are literally made for creating chaos. 

When my kingdom was truly upto its name - Glory, these destructive beasts appeared out of nowhere. And they started to destroy everything in front of them.

Yes, it's "they". The Zodiacs is not a single apocalyptic beasts. It's a set of beasts that belong to same time.

"Zodiac" is an ancient world which basically describes 12 beasts of the sky. And we used this word to describe them because this beasts are really from the sky.

My Kingdom - Gloria was on the crust, when these appeared from the sky. I still vividly remember the beasts that flunged our kingdom to the sky.

The beast was enormous even bigger than the height at which the Avalon palace was made. The beast was full of browny fur with two big and sturdy horns on his head. With his four legs, it gave a very horrifying feeling. I was flying above it.... Watching what it is doing. 

The beast was a bull. But not a normal one. This bull was way more bigger than a normal dragon. Many of you may think that even if it is bigger, it's a bull. But there is reason why these beasts are called the beasts of chaos.

All beasts have a trait which is maximized in them. And this bull's special trait which was exceptional from other beasts it's overwhelming strength.

Don't think that others have lower strength. It's just Bull's strength is just way more than them.

In my sight, he with his angry red eyes walked which caused tremors in the Kingdom. He bowed a bit and dug the ground beneath the kingdom with his horns. And then, I saw the an unbelievable thing.

He threw it! Yes, he with its strength threw the kingdom with it's strength to the sky! I who was flying saw my kingdom in the sky and the high speed jet streams, didn't let it fall to ground. I quickly ran to my kingdom and later on made a mana tool to let the kingdom afloat. 

That day was a big incident for me. And later on, I descented to land and interacted with many people only to find that many types of beasts have appeared in different lands in the same day and same time. 

I searched more and found that there are a total of 12 beasts that appeared in this world. And from that day the people started making myths upon this beasts of apocalypse, the beasts of chaos - Zodiacs.
