Chapter 5: Ch 5. Gloria

"Aargh! This headache..."

Glade woke up with a very bad headache. In a rush all the memories rushed inside him. He started to check his body only to find that he was not old as he was in his memories.

"I am certain that I walked for more than 40 years but why I am young as before? And where I am?"

Glade was currently lying on a bed with several medical needles on his body. The room was purely made of wood but it clearly was beautiful. More beautiful even from the castles from his world. He then saw a window. He came peeked over it. 

Then he saw a sight he will never forget. A city. A city so beautiful that can be considered as heaven. Many people with colourful wings are bustling everywhere. 

Glade who never knew about them looked at 

the city and the people in awe.

"Beautiful..."

"So you are awake."

A voice came from his behind which startled Glade. He turned and then saw a very elderly lady with a register on her hand. Like others, she had wings on her back. 

Even being old, she gave a very different feeling which made her unique. Glade couldn't figure it out, but he could feel it.

"From the condition, the body seems to be fine just the mental treatment is needed."

From her talk, Glade found that the old lady who called herself - Dr. Plume was a doctor. Apparently, the Queen of Gloria picked him up for treatment.

"But I clearly, remember the years that I experience. I was over 40 years old. How I am not damaged or even malnourished? Heck, I haven't even aged! What happened to me?"

Glade asked with a loud voice. He clearly remembered the challenges he suffered and knew that they were true. But his experience doesn't show on his body.

"About that, it would be better to learn it from our queen." Dr. Plum said in response.

"Queen?"

"That's right. The queen of Fairies - Her Majesty Silvia. Her majesty told me to bring you to her as soon you wake up. So, it's time to meet."

Glade reluctantly agreed and followed her. Even though he didn't wanted to meet the queen, it was not a time for his personal preferences.

He don't have any information about this world and he don't know where he is. After knowing that this country is of Fairies, the best insurance he could get was queen.

And if he can win the queen's favour, he could ask about the current world.

'I got into a trouble. Now I have to meet the queen. Hope, she is not short tempered. And my glasses are not turning on? When it will start?'

Glade knew that his travel was not destined to be smooth. That's why he created his A.I. glasses - Arthur to manage any information about this world in a more detailed form. But after his crossing, the glasses are fully blanked. For some reason it doesn't seems to work.

'For now, I have to concentrate for the meeting. This will determine my future path.'

Glade slapped his face to make himself more focused. For now, he has to pay attention to queen's talk.

Glade followed Dr. Plum as she walked from a corridor to another. The palace with was very big, even after walking for more then ten minutes both of them haven't reached to the Queen's room. Though the palace was huge, the astonishing fact was that it is made from a living tree! Yes, the walls, the doors, everything was very exquisite but all of these were made from living tree. It is very hard to believe. Living tree means, they haven't made it out of wood. Fairies have just carved the palace in an enormous tree and then made it a castle! Even Glade who just realised this was very shocked!

"This palace seems to carved out of a living tree, right?"

Glade asked as he somehow could see the green lights on the walls which made him feel that they are alive.

"Yes. You are very observant. This palace - Avalon, is directly carved in the Sacred Tree. You probably haven't seen because of your condition, but on the middle of the Gloria, a huge tree resides. The tree is so long, that its top can't be seen from below. And we all call it Sacred Tree. It is said in legends, that if someone reaches the top of sacred tree, he can get undefined power. But nobody have ever reached the top. By the way, we are getting close to Majesty's room. Better get focused."

Dr. Plum told Glade in a very clear voice to made him understand a bit of history of Fairies. Even it was nothing special from their point of view, for Glade it was very important. After hearing about Sacred tree, he was very baffled.

'Sacred tree! A tree that reaches so high that its top can't be seen from the below. And if one reaches the top of the tree, he can have unimaginable power. Sure enough, even if I don't want to believe, proof is in front of me. That I am is in a fantasy world. And in this world, I have to find Blossom. And for that, I need to have strength. Enough strength to topple anyone.'

Glade clutched his fist and made up his mind to become strong first in this unknown world for coming future.
