Chapter 25: Ch25: A tattoo and a righteous order

Ryan stood in front of the manikin and place his leg a step behind to support his body. His motive was to take on the hits from the manikin rather than dodging them like the last time. It was a foolish act. That was the very reason why he was doing it. He wanted to see if he could really increase his rating by taking a foolish decision.

Ryan stood there and started taking hits by the manikin. He knew he was going to be badly injured, the manikin was stronger than him. Master Leo had purposely increased the manikin's strength for it to match Ryan's speed. Ryan was planning to skip class for a few days. He can stay in the infirmary to avoid class and roam in the city at night. With this, Ryan would even make his body stronger if he continued for a few days.

He was not getting beaten up for the first time but the strength of the pouches was unbearable. Just after a few pouches blood dropped from his mouth. Ryan's condition was deteriorating. Ryan could feel his organs getting crushed by the hits of the manikin. He didn't know how long he would stand and take on the punches. Max was staring at Ryan with curiosity and a little shock. He didn't imagine Ryan doing something foolish.

Even grandmaster Leo Albano was looking at him with awestruck eyes. No one was able to guess what Ryan was doing. There was no benefit of getting hit by an emotionless manikin. Only the hits and punches received by Ryan were heard.

At this point, He heard his master's voice. "Stop it, both of you"

Ryan collapsed and fell to the floor. Ryan was still in his conscious, he felt the pain of cracked borns. It was seriously a foolish decision, he told himself. Ryan saw Max crawling toward him and his master rushed towards him. The grandmaster quickly took out a portion from one of the square titles and undo the small bottle in Ryan's mouth. Ryan felt a hot liquid going inside his body. He felt tired and asleep and he went to sleep.

When Ryan opened his eyes, he felt a tickling in his right hand. He saw a tattoo on his right hand. It was between the wrist and elbow. It was just a symbol but he felt a layer of heat above his skin. It was surely not just a tattoo. He was asleep for a few minutes but it felt like hours. He looked around Max playing with the handcuff and the grandmaster wasn't there. He felt power and stronger, he didn't know if it was the syrup or the foolish constitutions which made him stronger.

"What happened after I went asleep?" Ryan asked

It turns out that Ryan had drank a recovery portion and the grandmaster had even shouted at sleeping Ryan for his foolish act. Ryan felt good when he realized that he had gotten stronger due to his foolish constitution. It was an easy way to get stronger but he would be in the infirmary if the grandmaster wouldn't use the healing potion.

It was useful and risky to use at the same time. The tattoo on the other hand was the entry pass to this place. The Dean had actually given them the entry pass to go inside and outside of combat building 10. Ryan could not believe it. He tried to apply his power to its status. It worked.

They can not take anything outside of the place. Ryan believed that the Dean had given them the permission to practice and get stronger. the Dean must have trusted them s they have the same constitution. Anyway, Ryan knew that he won't be able to steal inside this place with the level of strength and power he had.

"We can still check and try out the treasure and weapons kept over here," Ryan suggested to Max who was busy playing with the handcuffs.

"Try to touch a treasure or a weapon other than the handcuffs and the minikins" Max challenged.

Ryan gave a stare to Max indirectly asking what the grandmaster had done after he fell asleep. Max took a few minutes and then opened his mouth.

"Grandmaster has used a Righteous order on us. As per the order, we won't be able to touch other things in this place. You can try it for yourself." Max explained to Ryan. but was not willing to believe it until he checks the righteous order. he frowned for a second, it was not good for his future.

Ryan got up and started choosing a square to open and test a treasure. As soon he touched a white square, the square turned just like it happened when master Leo touched the wall. There was a bow kept behind the square. Ryan was a little nervous, he was interested in the order if it was really something that existed and was forced on him. He touched the bow and waited for a second and nothing happened.

Ryan lifted the bow with both his hands it was heavy. the bow was green in color and had designs carved in black color. He felt a little dissatisfied as he was expecting something to happen. He gave an annoyed looked to Max. Max looked confused.

Ryan tried to pull the string of the bow but he was unable to. On the other hand, Max rubbed his eyes twice as he didn't believe it was happening. When Max tried to touch something in the hall he got a frightening shock.

Ryan was checking out a weapon and looked cool and normal. There was something wrong. Grandmaster's righteous order wasn't working on Ryan for some reason. 'Maybe because he was sleeping when the grandmaster gave the order' it was just a thought in Max's mind. Max wanted to try touching the bow if the bow was an exception to the righteous order.
