While the young couple was on the mission, Liam kept an eye on the outside world. He had seen the world become pretty bad. He had seen famines wipe out millions, and bombs destroying entire cities. 

When you were in the business to save the world, seeing the destruction was pretty much the norm. 

But both Jake and Zoe were new and he wasn’t sure how they would take their first mission being to turn this barren ruin back into the real world. They both were very resourceful and he could only hope they were successful.

He had hoped they would get some more time, or maybe their first mission would be easier but it was what it was. 

He hoped they would fare well because when they returned he had a piece of major news for them and he wasn’t sure how they would take it.
