Kaede entered a house with its facade painted green, and a lollipop in her mouth, other than that she bought on her way home with money she 'borrowed' some clothes and a new pair of sneakers.
Walking barefoot in winter was not something she was particularly a fan of.
"I'm home.", Kaede's voice rang out, closing the door behind she slipped off her shoes and walked into the kitchen. Even after all she ate, she was still hungry.
Finishing her lollipop she threw it in the trash. She opened the fridge and took the cold but cooked chicken inside. Completely ignoring Eto looking down on her from above the said fridges.
"Nothing to say?", getting impatient the green-haired half-ghoul jumped off and said in a somewhat cold tone.
"No. No really. Are you angry or something?", Kaede said with a lazy wave of her hand as she cut apart the meat of chicken before putting it all on a plate in the microwave.
"No, absolutely not! On the contrary my dear~! Can't a mother worry for her daughter when she ate an explosion point blank and disappeared for a day?", Eto exclaimed dramatically, faking shock and sadness which earned a scoff from Kaede.
"As you can see I'm in perfect health, not even a scar was left on my skin.", Kaede half answered, not like saying dodging the part where she was will be useful since there was no way Eto didn't send someone to watch and report about her.
"Anyways… You don't seem to want to talk about that… The one little ghoul with a particular taste for human fetus found something interesting.", the half-ghoul trailed off, seeming hesitant to tell Kaede.
Taking out the hot plate with a vector Kaede sat and started to eat at the table. She stopped her fork and her stare told Eto that she wanted to know what the fucj she was talking about besides the strange pastime of this ghoul.
"The fetus had two horns eerily similar to your own, the fetus was female and had pinkish-reddish hair.", as those words left her mouth a pending silence set in and the air got heavier. It was one of the rare times Eto was serious.
"What?", Kaede said, rapidly understanding the implication and another thing, as if reading her mind Eto continued on.
"The soon-to-be-mother was a 17-year-old human named Anka Hitori, she is evidently not your biological one, too young. The father of this unborn child is currently being brought here. He is the double of Anka Hitori in age. And strangely enough, perfectly human."
'Huh… No need to make hasty assumptions Kaede. I don't even know my parents and if this guy were to be my father his free trial of living has ended.', Kaede thought and took a bit of the chicken.
It was kinda not really good but whatever. Food was food and she had worse, way worse.
"Oh! I nearly forgot. Catch!", Eto face palmed and threw a sizable blue hermetically sealed bag at the diclonius.
Catching it mid-air with a vector she put the half-empty plate away and opened it. Her eyes widened at the sight of an 8-month fetus with half of its belly eaten out.
She didn't like the sight of it, at all. It was sad and enraged a part of her that something dared to do that to this unborn child, there was no denying the fetus was in somewhat, somehow, someway the same species as her.
But also not the same, phasing a vector alongside its small nubby horn and brain she git a clearer picture that made her angrier.
It indeed was of the same species as her, the same extremely developed part of their brain, connection to the horn and she could very vaguely feel remnants of its infantile and fragmented mind. Particularly the pain before the fetus died.

Kaede felt that she was responsible for the unborn child and it confused her.
Sighing Kaede calmed herself down and closed the bag before delicately putting it on the table, she was going to bury the unborn girl. That's the least she could do.
'This is interesting… who would have thought.', Eto smirked from behind her sleeve as she observed Kaede's reaction. In particular how handmarks formed in the table as if it was compressed by an invisible force.
"This cut my appetite... Is the one who killed the mother and the unborn girl here.", Kaede asked, voice cold. This ghoul would do a wonderful punching bag.
"I see what you want to do and I support you. Unluckily for him, he will be here… Though he seems to have a bit of a food poisoning problem.", Eto answered and jumped off the fridges.
Her phone was in her pocket vibrating and the bell rang indicating the arrival of two potentially soon-to-be-dead men.
Five minutes later, in the basement.
"Plea-please what do you want? Money? I can give you all you want! Please let me go and nobody will know! I promise!", a muscular middle-aged man begged for his way out, a black tissue covering his face beside his mouth.
He was scared shitless and nothing was ever done to him beside the kidnapping part and a dozen other thing but anyway.
He was strapped on a pink chair by a dozen layers of tape. Effectively stopping all movement besides the one of his neck and the squirming here and there. The only light in the room was a half-dead light bulb.
"Hey human! Shut the fuck up! Miss can I go to the… you know.", a bald twenty-five or so ghoul told from behind Kaede. He was obviously sick and with a taste for human fetuses.
"You won't need Makato-san. I will take care of it.", Kaede answered, eyes half closed, and with a sickeningly sweet smile, Eto on side chuckled. He managed to anger Kaede even more.
Makato scratched the back of his head awkwardly, clearly not in his element. He didn't know who the green-haired woman nor the pink-haired teenager were but they made him feel unsafe and he was going to run as far away as possible.
He is a class-A ghoul that told a lot about how fucked his current situation is if he feels like talking to his executioner. Sadly it was only too late to back down, and he preferred to be here than to disobey Aogiri and an order from the leader at that.
'Yeah, never going back to Tokyo again… it's safer in the countryside… fewer doves and crazy bitches.', Makato thought, his heart beating and pumping nervousness-filled blood.
Kaede smirked, six vectors exploded out of her back and spread outward. Unseen by everyone, one of the six zipped to Makato, and a thin red line formed above his belly button.
All the ghoul could utter was a what of confusion, realization followed by a blood-curdling scream of agony as three other red lines formed. Making a perfect rectangle.
Kaede snapped her finger and a slab of meat of the dame shape fell to the ground, instantly followed by the now free three matter of ghoul's intestine. Of course, their digestive tracts would be different than that of a human.
A neat piece of information to know if it's a ghoul but by that point and to get there it would have been obvious enough what species the individual was.
On the side the human somehow cried even louder than the ddisemboweledghoul, this earned a chuckle from Eto and a comment.
"Hope that you are not the father. Pffft-hahaha! As if it would change anything about your fate."
