Jane and Rose both averted their eyes when they noticed Professor Erika's gaze and sighed in relief when she scold them. The class started with Professor Erika giving a basic introduction to the subject as she moved around the class. 

The boys couldn't help but pay attention to her lecture cause whenever they were about to get distracted her two swaying mounds would help them get their attention back to Professor Erika.

Professor Erika was clearly aware of it but didn't mind it and continued on with her lesson. After lecturing the class about the basics and the procedure at the end of the class showed them a transfiguration example.

She took a small strand of her hair and then changed it into a needle similar in length to that of the hair. Everyone exclaimed seeing that. , Professor Erika smiled at the reaction and said "Pretty good isn't it? Well, you all will soon start to hate this because this is your task for this midester*.By the end of these three months if anyone of you is unable to covert a strand of hair into a needle that they would be considered failed.

The excited faces of the students soon lost their colours. Professor Erika chuckled getting the reaction she wanted to see and then continued "Well, worry not because if you all pay attention to all your classes and understand the concepts related to magic then it would difficult for you to not be able to do this.

On that note the class finally ended. It was time for lunch so the students started going to the dining area.

*Yawns*

Rose yawns widely while streching her hands upwards as she said "Argh I'm tired as hell. Let's go and eat something to refill our energy level Jane. The next class is 'Magic Application' right?" Seeing Jane nod Rose continued and said "It's a practical class so we should eat to our hearts content otherwise we would be exhausted to the point of dying.

With that Jane and Rose walked towards the academy dining area. Unlike the dormitory students interaction was promoted in the academy so they all used to sit in a large dining area and have meals together.

The whole dining area consisted of three long tables and if one followed the pathway in between the tables they would reach a platform where the Academy head along with other faculties were seated.

The table at the right from the entrance was for the final year students, the one in the middle was for the second years and needless to say the one at the left was for the first year students, it was also the table that was the most chaotic at the moment.

Jane was seated along with Rose on the first year table. She tried searching for Skyleane but was unable to because of the large number of students that were on the table. The greyish black robes which was part of their uniform made it even more difficult to spot a person in this already crowded place. She could only inwardly sigh in defeat.

Just like the other students Jane and Rose had also not started their meal because their tables were currently empty with no signs of food anywhere. On asking why, they got to know that the Academy head was gonna make an announcement before the lunch would officialy begun.

Few minutes later when all seats were finally filled, a sound of a clap came from the direction where the Academy head and the other faculties were seated while facing them.

Jane along with rest of the students turned her head towards the source of the sound which due to some unknown reason was audible to her even from a large distance in this chaotic environment. 

Seeing that she had successfully gotten the attention of the students, the Academy head cleared her throat and said "Good Afternoon to all the future magic practitioners of the Sterling Academy. I would like to keep this short so that you all can start with quelling your hunger. This speech is specifically for the first year students. I'm the Academy head of the Magic Academy of the Silver Kingdom, Professor Vini Silver..."

Jane looked at the Academy head who now was giving them all a speech. Unlike her expectations, academy head was a beautiful young woman...or maybe it was just something like an illusion spell? Anyways...she looked beautiful. Her long sliver hair were made into a bun to match with her formal appearance which further enhanced her personality as the Academy head.

Jane was quite impressed with the way the Academy head carried herself as a result instead of the speech she focused on admiring her the whole time.

"...That's it. So before we began, I would request the faculties and all the senior students to give a round of applause to all the first year students." Professor Vini said.

A deafening sound of claps rang in the hall along with sounds of cheers mixed in from a few excited seniors which made the first year students delightful and filled them with motivation to work harder and achieve their goals.

After the sounds of applause died down the Academy head snapped her fingers and all the lights brightened up, light music started playing and most importantly mouth watering delicacies conjured up in front of all the students.

Gulping their saliva the first years looked at the Academy head who did all this with just a snap of her fingers in awe. Professor Vini smiled seeing their reactions and the said "Let the feast begin." 

With that,tThe sound of the light music coming from God knows where, became a bit louder as everyone started focusing on satisfying their appetite.

Jane gulped her saliva looking at all the delicacies that were in front of her. The rich fragrance made her loose herself as she attacked the dishes with full fervor stopping only when a satisfying burp came from her mouth which made the surrounding students look at her weirdly. Rose chuckled seeing this and continued eating her meal in a dignified manner.
