Chapter 7: Chapter 6

Romeo ran his thumb under his lip as he looked out of the window. The rain was storming down again and he just couldn’t shake the feeling that something or someone must be angry at him for what he had done.

Instead of doing it in the usual spot, Romeo decided to go to Nicola’s place that was far away from school and fuck her. 

Her hand was running up his leg and torso wondering why he had just stopped after round one when Romeo could go on for days if he wanted to but they usually stopped when her vagina couldn’t take it anymore which she really disliked about herself.

She sat at an angle and kissed up his arm. He was brought from his thoughts and he looked at her. His face turned to a frown and he moved his arm away and got up from the bed.

She was baffled by his actions and looked at him confused while he was getting dressed, “Rome, what are you doing?”

Romeo pulled up his pants and looked at her as he answered, “I’m getting dressed.”

“I can see that but why?! We aren’t done here,” she said to him.

He stopped dressing with his shirt around his elbows and looked at her confused and said, “I am done here.”

“We have sex for much longer than this, why are you rushing out?” She asked him and climbed off the bed trying to stop him from getting dressed.

He pushed her with his elbow forcing her back on the bed and said warningly, “Girl you better watch it, what did I tell you about touching me when I don’t want you to?”

Nicola was surprised by his actions and asked, “Romeo what is going on? Did I do something to make you angry?”

Romeo continued getting dressed and when he was done with his shoes he looked at her and said, “Don’t call me Romeo, and what happens in my life is none of your business. I’ve given you what you wanted and this is the last time, don’t come looking for me again.”

He grabbed his phone from the nightstand and walked out. Nicola quickly grabbed a shirt and put it on. She ran after Romeo and got to him before he reached the front door and stood between him and the door. She looked at him with tears in her eyes and asked, “So it’s just over between us, you get pussy and leave?”

“You got dick didn’t you?” Romeo questioned her. She stared at him and could see that he had no interest in her and her antics and asked, “Is there someone else?”

Romeo raised a brow and asked, “What did I just say to you? Whether there is someone in my life or not, that has nothing to do with you now does it?”

“Romeo, I know you love me. I love you too and if we could just give this a chance we could be something great,” she said to him.

Romeo pursed his lips and asked, “Since when do I love you?”

Looking at his expression, she knew that she was backed up into a corner with her own words and couldn’t help but let her tears fall. Wiping them away she said, “It was never just sex between us and you know that.”

“Yes until you played games and thought you could get with Justin and Mason, I’m just giving you what you wanted all this time so why are you going on as if there are strings attached?” He questioned her with a bland expression that told her any answer she had wouldn’t be what he wanted.

Romeo stared at her as she looked at him and when a minute passed and she still gave him silence, he pulled her away from the door and left. Shaking his head, he climbed into his car and drove home to shower then returned back to school for class.

Romeo entered the packed cafeteria and saw that someone was announcing something very loudly, "Remember now, if you all want Valentine's packs, you can pay us a visit at our clubroom to fill in order forms. We'll put up the posters later today with all the items listed, there is also the option for you to pick and choose from the variety of things we'll be making and is stated on the order forms so just pop in when you can, myself or Halo will be around to help you all and payments need to be made before the end of next week. If you want, you can also directly deposit the money into Halo's bank account that will be on the poster and you'll need to bring proof of the payment as well, a printed out screenshot will do, but you need to fill out the order form." says the Foodies club President who is also part of his clique and jumps off the table.

Romeo walked over to the spot where they sit. Sitting down, he sighed and pulls out his lunch. Adrian pops up out of nowhere asking as he sat down beside him, "You not getting lunch?"

Romeo shook his head and pulled out the bag he got yesterday from Halo and his bottle of water, leaning back into the chair he pulled out a blondie and showed it to Adrian, "Nope, all set."

Adrian shrugged and started eating a hamburger, after a while Rachel came over and placed her phone down in front of him, "Please explain this?" She said and Romeo saw the messages from Nicola that she had sent her.

He frowned and pushed the phone out of his face saying, “That has nothing to do with you and you should be concerned with your boyfriend not her.”

She raised a brow and went to sit down. Adrian looked at her and asked, “What did you show him,” instead of asking Romeo what it was all about.

“He ended things with Nicola,” she said.

Adrian burst out laughing and didn’t say anything. Justin on the side said, “Things have been done between them, why does she still have feelings for him?”

“Because he hit it good,” Adrian mumbled making them all laugh. Mason looked at Romeo and asked, “We all know Romeo’s ass is loyal, does that mean there is someone new in your life?”

Romeo just shrugged it off and continued eating. Billie looked at what he was eating and recognised it. “Where did you get those blondies and brownies?” She asked.

Romeo looked over at her and remembered that she was working with Halo and said, “Halo gave them to me yesterday.”

Adrian’s neck snapped in his direction at the mention of Halo’s name as Billie continued questioning, “I didn’t know you two were close.”

“We aren’t I just gave him a ride home yesterday,” he answered and shoved the whole brownie in his mouth.

Their group knew who Halo was, in fact, the whole school knew who he was but as they knew him they also knew nothing about him besides that he was gay, good at cooking and always managed to get on Adrian’s last nerve. That and the loudmouth red-haired fellow that was either a boy or girl which no one could tell because he was always dressing like both genders and looked the part.

“Oh, so he the one you said you knew?” Justin suddenly said, peaking up everyone’s interests. Romeo nodded his head in response and removed himself from the conversation.

“Aight bro, so we still having that conversation or not?” Mason asked after he was done making out with his girlfriend and teasing Adrian.

Romeo opened his eyes and stood up. Justin jumped off the table getting ready to leave with them when Adrian stood up and asked, “So you are really not involving me in this?”

Romeo paused and looked at him. He could see that Adrian was upset about being left out and smiled. He looked at his best friend and said so only he could hear, “Usually when I talk to the two of them, it’s about my job and you should know that I do not want you involved in this. I swear this will be the last time okay, then you’ll have my full attention.”

Adrian rolled his eyes and sat down. Romeo shook his head amused and looked at the two saying, “Let’s go.”

They headed out to the back of the school where no one was and sat down in the shade. Mason looked at Romeo and asked, “So what’s this about and you know I want nothing to do with your hustle.”

Romeo scoffed as he looked at him and said, “Remember how you came to me and spoke about your sister-in-law?”

Mason sighed hearing him mention Alexandra but nodded his head.

“How is she doing?” Justin asked.

“She’s fine. Got a boyfriend actually now,” he answered as the image of his brother popped into his head.

Romeo raised a brow as he slowly nodded and said, “Anyways, this ain’t about her, this is about me. I’ve fallen in love.”

“What?” Both boys said in a mine screech.

Romeo started chuckling as Mason asked, “And you didn’t want Adrian in on this why?”

“Because it’s kind of complicated. Remember how you told me that I am always babying him and in some cases, it seemed like we were an actual couple?” Romeo asked.

Mason’s face grew sour at his words while Justin smirked, “I think I know why. Halo got me hard as fuck last night and this morning, if I did not hold myself back I might have ended up fucking him.”

“Wait what?” Mason said confused.

“So this is why ended shit with Nicola?” Justin asked.

Mason looked at Justin confused, as dumb as he looked, he was awfully clever and picked up on things like this quickly. Romeo nodded his head in response but Mason said, “Yo, you and Nicola were m.i.a and then you end things with her?”

“Truthfully speaking, I only agreed to sleep with her because I needed to nut. The whole time, I was imagining myself with Halo and if I actually went all out, she’d have guessed it,” Romeo explained.

Mason ran a hand over his face as he groaned. He lied down on the grass trying to process this all. Justin smirked as he looked at his friend and said, “Yo, if you are going to end up with me, hook me up with the red-head, I’m trying to lay my kids down but he won’t even respond on MyGram to my messages.”

Justin turned to Mason and said, “If we get with dudes, you have to get with Adrian too. I ain’t coming out as gay alone.”

“I’m bisexual motherfucker,” Romeo said with a smirk and dropped down beside Mason. Mason was glaring up at Justin who had a goofy smirk on his face but couldn’t say anything. For a while now, he was thinking of getting with Adrian and it seemed like a good idea.
