Meanwhile, somewhere on the Palace, was the little boy in the roof of a certain room. He sat there and thought about the Princess’s cruelty. He began to regret agreeing with his brother, who claimed that she was his only path to freedom. Although the boy was freed from the Vision Realm, he was still stuck in the same place due to Montana’s request for him to stay, who knew well of the dangers he could cause.

On top of that, was the promise that he was bound with. The Second was then interrupted in his thoughts after hearing the commotion from the room below. Hearing this continue irritated him, to the point of aggressively ruffling through his hair. After a few minutes he reached his limit, the boy went past the edge of the roof, and landed on the railing of the Terrace below. Upon entering through the door, he was annoyed to see that the maids were the ones causing the commotion. They were in the Queens Room, supposedly administering the Queen with her daily medication. However, they were talking to each other and even laughed as quietly as they could while doing so, completely unaware of the boy who had just arrived.

The Second: Hey! Since yall are just talkin to each other…

Could ya leave and give her some silence?

Maid (1): I-its her Highness’ servant!

Maid (2): Where did you even come from?

The Second: Huh? Don’t get it twisted

I ain’t that blockhead’s servant

Maid (3): H-how dare you speak of the Princess that way!

Did your parents not teach you manners?

The Second: (How dare I?) You talk too much

Just leave (before I-)

Queen Elizabeth: Cough*cough* Now-now everyone, let’s not do something we’d regret

If you’ve fulfilled your duty, you are excused

The third maid then stumbled and held back her words as they bowed and left the room. It was only then did the boy realize that The Queen was observing them. In an attempt to leave, he felt the Queen’s gaze as he turned around. Despite the fact that it was through a curtain, he still felt embarrassed and decided to apologize for using such vulgar words. But he was interrupted before doing so when Sally, one of Athena’s trusted workers, came in. having thought of the situation, she bowed her head, apologizing to him. The boy then retorted, saying that she didn’t interrupt anyhing

Sally then presented the medications to him, proving that they were safe to use. The Second knew nothing when it comes to medicine, but was certain when looked at her eyes, where he saw her genuine purpose. Seeing that she wasn’t lying, he let her come to the Queen. He watches from the side, as per his promise with Montana. The promise was that whenever she wasn’t there, he was to accompany and protect the Queen from any sorts of danger. The Princess initially asked him of his abilities, specifically one that would heal the Queen with her curse. The boy knew well that he had no such thing so he told her, and with that discovery, Montana changed her request, telling him to protect her instead.

Over an hour has passed and Sally was getting close to finishing.  After a short while, The Second’s yawm abruptly came to an end as he suddenly felt something unusual. He scans the surroundings but didn’t see anything which made him consider a certain event. He was so engrossed in his thoughts that he failed to hear Sally calling out to him, who was confused of the boy’s unusual behavior. The Second then took a moment to collect himself, before responding to her.

The Second: Sorry… I was just thinking of something

Sally: Are you okay Sir?

The Second: Yes yes, of course

Forget about that, what of the Queen’s state?

Sally: A-ahh yes of course…

She’s fine, her vitals are looking well, but her fever still hasn’t gone down…

The Second: Is it because of the rain?

Sally:  Probably, she might’ve gotten cold during that time

The Second: How extraordinary… Even the rain can affect human health-

Sally: Pardon?

The Second then stopped, realizing what he had just said. He then apologized, and changed the topic. Sally then went with the flow, telling him of the Queen’s needed medicine. After she left, he heard a sudden voice which he recognized to be one of his Brothers, Gabriel. He spoke of the Eldest, and his  urgent summon. The First wanted to call for Montana as well, but knowing the current situation, The boy replied, informing him of the situation, only to be surprised that Gabriel already knows. He then continued, saying that they were to meet in a few minutes.

The Second was shocked by his words, thinking that he might’ve heard wrong. But seeing that he didn’t answer as he called for him multiple times, the boy started to think of a solution, while anxiously walking around the room. With no time left, he decided to give up, summoning Knights from left n right. The Knights were dark, similar to that of a shadow. The gaps of its armor had bloodshot red skin, which truly signifies the boy’s nature. He then came close to the Queen but decided not to open the curtains, knowing well of how he kept himself away from the Queen’s direct sight.

The Second: Y-your Majesty, I-I apologize from disrupting you from your sleep

W-well… Since you’re awake, ill uhm… Inform the King

Queen Elizabeth: Hahaha~ You don’t have to be formal my dear child

I understand, you’ve done your duty… You are excused

The Second: Th-thank you, Your Grace

If you ever have a need to do something, I’ve summoned my Knights to serve and-

Queen Elizabeth: Thank you dear…

Since you’ve done so much… Ill keep this between us

The Second: Th-thank you…

The boy then bowed which Elizabeth saw through the curtain. Upon closing the door, he turned his back glaring at the Royal Guards who were tasked to guard the door. Knowing very well, and little, of who he is the Guards backed off, asking if they’ve done wrong. The boy then closed the door, observing whether the Queen would hear them or not before he spoke. He says that if they were to enter the room, The Knights inside would kill them. Completely missing the point, the guards asked once more, only to be surprised by the boy as he summoned two Knights in front of them. Now that he’s shown a bit more of his power, the Royal Guards controlled themselves and listened to his instructions. Before leaving, The Second changed their role and duty. Instead of having them guard the door, they were tasked to block off the entire corridor, only allowing him and the Royal Family to past through.

The Second then left them, heading straight to Montana’s room where he began the incantation. With the spell casted, he entered the Vision Realm and went towards its end. After removing the seal like usual, he was able to enter the Void, and swiftly headed towards the Platform. When he reached it, the others were already there. Upon landing in the Platform, he was taken by The First’s power and was scolded for wasting his time. Gabriel tried calmed him down, adding that it was only for a few minutes. The First was still irritated, but decides to let go of the boy. He then turned his back and took his sword from the Pedestal, which moved the Platform. The First decided to break the silence and decided to tell them the reason of his sudden summoning.

The First: Something has escaped from my grasp

But knowing well of what that is, its only a matter of time before I catch it

Gabriel: And that is? What does this “Thing” have to do with our meeting?

The First:  That “thing” proves that there is a way to get him back

….Its possible

Gabriel was stunned, knowing well of that look he made while saying so. The First then turned his gaze to the boy, but hid it perfectly before The Second could notice. Gabriel, who noticed this, stopped him in his thoughts, causing Ren to stop as he forced himself unto The Second’s memory

Gabriel: Ren… You promised

The First, whose true name is Ren, was surprised by Gabriel’s words. He then thought for a second, how nostalgic it was hearing his name. It was during the time of the First King when someone heard it. Hearing this helped him control himself. The platform then stopped, which confused the boy who still had trouble understanding what was happening. Gabriel then felt the cold-like presence of his aura again, sighing after looking into the future, knowing that he cannot help this time.

Ren (The First):  But… That isn’t what I called you here for…

I… was disturbed by something

Gabriel: By something you mean?

Ren (The First): Somewhere with a sudden growth of power

Gabriel: Is it… That time?

The Second: W-what? what time?

Ren: During your descent… I sensed an unusual aura

So now that I’ve confirmed it, Ill have to take back what I promised

The Second: H-huh?! No! Im finally free,

You cant do this!

Gabriel: Im with him on this one Ren,.. But, I am certain that there is nothing wrong

If you worry for us… Then ill take responsibility

Ren noticed how he hesitated in saying those words. Knowing well of how he hated violence, Ren knew he must’ve thought of it well. He then looks at Gabriel in the eyes, who surprised him and didn’t back down. After seeing Gabriel’s resolve, he sighed as he ruffled through his hair, thinking of what to do. After an idea came to mind, he decided to give it a shot, calling for the two to come closer.

Ren: Your rings

Gabriel: Here…

After taking their rings, he infused them with his power. Only this time, Gabriel noticed how well it was concentrated in a particular way. When it was finished, he handed them back, with the only change being the writing on the inner side of the ring.

Ren: With this, you’ll be restricted, more in control

Gabriel: A spell… Binding?

The Second: It looks fancier

Ren: It’s similar… Your powers will be restricted when inside the ring, you’ll only be able to step into the Real world with the will of your Chosen Ones

Gabriel: Interesting… Will it be the same?

Ren: Yours will be, you’ve chosen to take responsibility haven’t you?

How will you do so without total control?

Gabriel: Im surprised you accepted it that easily…

Ren: I did it for you to prove to me that you can take on such a task

Gabriel: Pardon?

Ren: Now that, that’s done… You can leave… I will gather support, just stay in contact

Gabriel was confused of what he said. But knowing how dangerous the Void was. He called out the boy, who was still admiring his ring and was totally unaware of how it operates. Gabriel then laughs before leaving, watching as Ren hits him on the back of his head causing the boy to come back to his senses. After guiding him, the three waved at each other goodbye, ending it when Ren closed the portals.

After doing so, he turns around and quickly changes the mood. Countless roars and screeching were heard as he headed to a certain place. Countless towers of stone were seen with a height so great one wouldn’t be able to see its peak, where the source of all the roaring was heard. They continued to shout in anger after feeling Ren’s presence. Having passed through all of them, he finally gives in to the noise and turns his gaze, glaring straight to what cannot be seen. After silencing what was once loud and furious, he continued to walk, until he reached enough distance where the roaring can barely get heard.

In the empty void he floated, and chanted as he soared through the unknown. The emptiness of the void then appeared, revealing a small platform in which he landed. Upon reaching the ground did his eyes glow bright, showing the beauty of his golden eyes. He then looked towards his Throne caressing it with his fingers before noticing the seat beside his. Seeing as it was empty, he smiled knowing well of what was to come. He then sat on the throne, letting himself feel comfortable as something appeared from behind the back-rest. Beautifully toned arms appeared, embracing his shoulders from behind. From behind came a beautiful girl, who came to his side, and sat down on the armrest of his seat. Ren then watched as she turned to him, leaning forward, swinging one of her legs to the other side of the chair, locking him in place.

Ren: Expectin me?

(Unknown): Hmm? Why would I?

Ren: I… Have something for you to do

(Unknown): Hahahahaha~ What makes you think ill agree?

You’re always leaving, we haven’t even-

Ren then noticed the change in her tone, and controlled himself, regaining his composure

Ren: Ill give you something in return

….A “reward”

(Unknown): A reward? How foolish

I decline, for I have everything that I need

Ren: I can give you…

What you truly~ desire

He said so as he grabbed her by the chin. This surprised her, to the point of losing balance, falling straight to Ren’s side. It was at that moment when she realized what he truly meant. She stutters in an attempt to talk back. Ren, who found it cute, continued to tease her.

Ren: Well then?

What do you say Rey?

Rey: Well then…eherm… W-what do you want me to do?

Ren then smiles, thinking well of what her reaction might be

Ren: Nothing else but to flaunt your beauty
