Inside the sect hall

Lui Fen asked everyone

"Elder sister, can I?"

Lui Zhi Ruo raised her hands

Lui Fen shaped her head and replied

"You're too young"

Lui Qing Shan raised his hand next

Lui Qing Shan approach the capsule and opened it

"This thing is so meticulously created"

He praised before stepping in. Light flashes and a screen appeared on the back of the capsule for people to watch.

He wore the headgear and like down, the cover automatically closed by itself.

Once he laid down he felt everything around him shifting and soon he found himself on a white platform with a huge screen welcoming him

After that, another screen appeared with letters on the bottom and a line on the top

"A name. I can't pick a plain name, it must be great"

He then typed "Bone crusher"

The others watching from outside have weird expressions on their faces.

The world turned black and soon he found himself in a town with weird creatures in what appeared to be shops. There is even a tree with a big nest on top of it and below is a group of black Sparrows selling antidotes.

Lui Qing Shan looked around, not knowing what to do.

A screen then appeared in front of him. A status screen and another screen explaining things to him.

It is not the same attribute distributing system as others, instead of stats you have to put points on a body part. It is also possible to strengthen a property of mana, one can increase their mana but their skill damage will stay the same. They can increase the quality of their mana and their skill damage will increase, but their mana will not increase

He patiently read the introduction and the guide.

He looked at his body, he's not a warrior and certainly, he will not strengthen his body. He chose to increase the quality of his mana instead

He took out the glowing ball of light first and a screen appeared

He thought

Reading all the explanations, he picked a staff.

"To expect someone as great as me to use a piece of wood"

His face darkened when his weapon appeared. It is just a normal stick. He kept it in his inventory.

In the end, he decided to just to the library.

It's not that far away and so he arrived in no time. The library looks very old and dusty.

He entered and saw rows of shelves filled with books.

He took some and read them but he always received the same screen

He walked out of the town and arrived at a grassy area.

He changed his direction until eventually, he arrived at a forest.

He carefully walks deeper into the forest and readies his fist. He refuses to believe that he will be defeated.

Rustling sounds appeared behind the bushes. His eyes turned sharper. He stopped and become even more cautious, waiting for his opponent to show itself.

A dark figure crawl from the bushes. A human-sized centipede with a red carapace. Each of its legs ends with a sharp red crystal-like material same with its mandibles.

He can feel the threat coming from the beast

*level 15 fire centipede*

"A mere insect dare to blo-"

Before he can finish his words, his entire body was slashed into tiny pieces and turned into light particles. The centipede is now on the other side with its legs glowing red.

Having lost its interest, it crawled away.

He then respawned in the town a while later. His face is unexplainable.

'I'm just not prepared for an attack'

He thought to himself.

Outside the others are laughing their lungs out

"Never would I thought the hardened " bone crusher" will be defeated by a centipede "

Lui Feng Mian laughed once again.

"Don't tell him we can see what he is doing"

Lui Yu Yan said to the others.

The three nodded their heads

"Let's just pretend to not know anything when he comes back"

Lui Zhi Ruo said

"And bring centipedes into the conversation"

They all grin

Lui Qing Shan is like their senior who scolded them a lot in the past.

On the other side, Lily and Yen are watching him. Marlyn is snugly sleeping on the embrace of Yen.

Not knowing what is happening outside, Lui Qing Shan is still vented on killing that centipede.

The centipede crawls and eats some grass when suddenly it felt something hitting its back. It looked back and saw the familiar human punching its carapace.

"I got you now, let's see how you ca-"

The centipede didn't even bother checking if he is still alive, it just throw him away with its tail.

He hit his back hard on a tree full of thorns and ended up dying a second time.

Then he respawned again.

He grits his teeth and though

'One can cultivate through suffering '

He now insists on killing that centipede

Soon enough he died multiple times and even obtained a skill.

The capsule opened and he opened his eyes.

He stepped out and stretched his body. He can feel that his earthy energy increased in quality.

"Why do all of you have that expression?" 

He looked at them

"Nothing, nothing, how is it?"

Lui Fen just gave a wry smile

"It worked, I can feel my earthy energy getting more solid"

Lu Qing Shan replied

"Really?"

They immediately checked his body and they looked surprised.

"We need to get our hands on more"

Lui Fen said with a serious face.
