After the whole ordeal was over. I created another beef stew for myself, Lena keep peeking out of the bush drooling. Even the system willing to give me SC if i gave it the beef stew. Well i reject it first, I need to regain my strength for the next wave. We finally sleep inside a makeshift hut i made. Lena still have a big ball on top her head from my fist earlier. It look funny to look like really. 

"Bro. You are a meanie"

Lena face was grumpy.

"Well if you only hasn't ate the whole soup!"

"But bro. It was too delicious! I can't resist the temptation!"

"Whatever. Let's go to sleep now. We need to regain our energy for the next wave."

"Yeah yeah. Sure"

We both sleep very soundly inside the makeshift hut. 

[When are you guy gonna marry?]

The next day came. I was so refreshed from my long sleep. I stretch my body and gather the necessary equipment now. I went outside to see Lena was already awake and preparing her trap again. I don't know what will the next wave monster will be. So we need to be extra cautious. My level increased by 1 from the food, Making me to level 52. And my physical strength is upgraded to B rank. It was noticeable on my appearance with me way more taller and a bit bigger. Some of skill rank was upgraded. Most of them has upgraded to D rank and C rank while my enchanted aura is upgraded to B rank.

Lena was able to get 3 level from the food due to her stealing my whole pot of stew. Her magic was stronger now and her mana capacity is increased. She got a new skill upon hitting level 40.

It a perfect skill for Lena. I don't really use magic alot so i have many mana stack up. With this Lena can use spell frequently.

Finally the second has started. As usual 2 new monster was detected. And it was more powerful than the last wave.

There are way powerful for me to handle it alone. They are like the mini boss of this wave. The cerberus has 3 head with each head can use magic. And the sand worm like to burrow underground and has the appearance of a worm but it was creepy with it big mouth on the front. 

I charge against the weaker horde with all my buff active. While Lena continuously use magic to kill the backline. I tried to kill the goblin and the jackal but they were blocked by the boar and undead. They knew i was going for them and protected them from any damage. This is gonna be a annoying battle.

It was still not a problem because they were killed instantly with a single strike from my dagger. All of the monster now going for me. I decided to use fireball at the clump of weak monster and explode it near them causing blazing scene. 

[67/150 Monster Left] 

We were able to kill half of the monster. The cerberus began moving while the sand worm watch the scene. The cerberus roar loudly at us. It lowered my strength down and making me slower, Lena was unaffected because she was far away from the roar. 

"Be careful bro! I will take care of the rear enemy! Reward me with the stew okay when we are finished! "

Lena shouted from faraway. Until 

The cerberus jump in the middle of the battle field and rush to attack me with it head using the magic. The left and right head began to use poisonous breath and poison spit on my direction. I dodge it pretty easily however the weaker monster will find any chance to attack me while i was dodging making them annoying. The middle head mouth began to light up with flame and dash toward me ready to bite me. I was pretty distracted by the other monster so i didn't notice until system warned me.

[Sebas! Behind you. Watch out!]

I crouch narrowly avoiding the lethal bite. As the cerberus flies over my head, While i was crouching i was hit with the poisonous breath and spit. 

[You have been poisoned! You will take damage over time and your movement are slowed down. The more time untreated the more stronger it get. Way to cure it: Purifying Skill and Specific Antidote]

Argh god damn it. My wound start to become purple in my left arm. My movement has become slowed too. Lena was able to clear the rest of the smaller monster that is after me. 

[2/150 Monster Left]

So it was between me and the cerberus. I prepared my dagger and dash forward as fast i can. The cerberus dodge every of the slice until Lena grab it attention using her spell. I was able to take this chance to slice it middle head. 

The other head was shocked to see it middle head fall off. As they became enraged seeing the head fall down and using every magic skill it can. The head cast the Flame splash skill causing flame appearing on the ground i standing at. I jumped seeing the floor became engulfed in flame in matter of second. But it was a feint all along and the main body cerberus charge at me in mid air and knocked me in mid air

*Hardened Scales!*

I was able to minimize the damage from the fall. The cerberus charge at me again without letting me breath. Lena casted me a shield and shoot out icicle for toward it eye. The icicle was able to strike the left head eye making it roar in pain. The other head was annoyed by this and tried to cast a spell toward Lena. I interrupted it by using my Enchanted Aura spear to finish it off to the heart.

A large explosion happened at the body of the cerberus making it roar in pain. And it finally died from the pain. I was exhausted maybe it was me using a bunch of buff or i was poisoned. Huh why didn't it say finished?

A loud rumbling from the ground was heard closer and closer to me. 

[Avoid it! It the earth worm]

I can't stand up because of the poison. Until a big silhouette appear infront of me! It was the earth worm!

"BROTHER! WATCH OUT"

[Sebastian! Wait for the last defence skill to activate!] 

Lena was screaming her lungs out when she saw the worm in front of me. The worm jump toward me with it mouth open ready to swallow me. As i stare at it big mouth coming for me. Is this where i will die today? I was swallowed inside the mouth.

"NOOOO!!"

 It was sticky and smell super bad inside. I can't even move my body due to the poisoned. Until my body began shining brightly. I opened my eye to see.

[Last Defence activated]

[All injury are healed. Your body defence is increased by ten fold. Your strength is increased by five fold. Last for 1 Minutes]

My fatigued was gone in matter of second. I can feel the power coming to me.

[Oh my gosh. I was scared to death thinking you will die.]

I was super scared aswell.  Eventually focused on slashing the worm from the inside. Making it body wiggle violently from the pain. 

[Kill it now!]

I switched out my dagger for a spear and focus all of my strength on a singular point which is the mouth. And strike it with enchanted aura on multiple time nonstop. The worm finally died with 14s duration left on the passive skill. 

I walked out of the mouth without a scratch as i hold my spear to the sky with victory. My body smell really bad from the inside of the worm. In the distance Lena was running to me with tear all over her eye. Lena hug me tightly with her crying uncontrollably.

"You are alive! I thought you were dead when you were swallow by that big worm. Please don't scare me like that again. Do you have any idea of how worried i am?"

"Yeah i know, I was scared too. Thank for caring for me. "

Lena was still crying.

"I will repay you with my special beef stew. Don't cry anymore"

Lena sniff and eventually stop crying altogether. 

"Yes big bro!"

Lena was smiling again with tear still visible from her eye. We went back to our base with monster body littered everywhere. 

[Give me some stew too !]

I also gained 3 level from the whole battlefield. Making me level 56. I obtained a new skill aswell.

There was a lizardman from the Black Claw tribe.

*No way did the weakest tribe able to finish the second wave that easily? Not to mention it was the fastest of all the tribe. I need to report this to master!*

The black lizardman vanish into thin air once again.

* Back to Lena and Lacertus*

I bought Lena some mana potion to recover her mana. Her mana was exhausted. Lena drink it without caring where it came from. I made two pot of beef stew this time. For Lena and System. I served the pot to Lena and put the other pot to the inventory.

"Thank for the meal!"

I looked at Lena with a smile. It was overjoy to see her smile again. I ate a fine portion of my beef stew far away from Lena.

And so another day where i almost died. What the hell is wrong with this world! If i almost died from the second wave then just how powerful is the boss monster exactly? I guess i will find out about it the next day.
