Chapter 22: Interlude: The Strange Beast Girl

When I first sensed this girl enter, I somehow was in for an interesting encounter. I couldn't tell that this girl was a beast girl when I sensed her with my Sense Presence skill but when I saw her my hopes were dashed. She was a beastman. They aren't known for their magical prowess.

However, I didn't despair. She was kind even when I tried to explain that magic was usually taught. I was surprised but I used my disguise skill to hide it. 

 When she pulled out that staff.... I thought I was going to die.

All of sudden I'm in complete darkness. I can see a man chained to the floor.

"You know that already silly girl", he laughs a bit.

"I'm not a bad god. I only want to do what is necessary to make humanity advance. The world has grown stail. Those darn gods sealed me away because they didn't want to be forgotten. Pathetic." She cant help but shake in his presence.

"No time has passed. While I'd love to chat, I need to conserve my energy. Take care...." She is suddenly back in the room with the girl.
