[At night, Kazuki and Kaya stand in the middle of the busy streets of the capital city of Gomma.]

    Kazuki - Hahhh...!

[Kazuki stares in awe at the gigantic buildings and beautiful scenery of Gomma city.]

      Kaya - So, how does it look?

    Kazuki - I...I've never seen

             anything like this

             before!

             Since when did

             buildings get this

             big?!

             It's insane!

             I mean, we've been to

             the city before.

             But that's nothing

             compared to this!

[A car drives drives past uncomfortably too close to Kazuki and Kaya.]

      Kaya - Umm, Kazuki?

    Kazuki - Now i see what Mira

             meant by Gomma city

             being a town of great

             wealth.

[More cars drive past Kazuki and Kaya.]

      Kaya - Kazuki?!

    Kazuki - I mean, this is really-

      Kaya - Kazuki!!

    Kazuki - Wah!

      Kaya - Exactly where are we

             standing right now?!

    Kazuki - Oh?

             Eek!

[Kazuki quickly grabs Kaya and runs out of the road right before a truck nearly runs over them.]

     Truck - Are you blind you

    Driver idiot?!

             Stay off the road, boy!

    Kazuki - I'm sorry!

      Kaya - You know, sometimes i

             get the feeling that

             you really are trying

             to kill me, Kazuki.

    Kazuki - I-I'm sorry.

[An enticing smell blows past Kaya's nose.]

    Kazuki - Oh?

[Kaya sniffs around.]

      Kaya - Ah!

[Kazuki looks to his side and sees a small stand selling selling smoked pork.]

[Kaya smiles excitedly.]

              A smoked pork stand?

             [Thoughts]

              Oh, right.

              I forgot how much Kaya

              loves those.

             Hey, Kaya.

             Could you wait for here

             for a second?

      Kaya - Oh?

[Kazuki runs off and leaves Kaya standing alone for a while, making her sad.]

    Kazuki - Kayaaa!

      Kaya - Oh!

[Kaya excitedly smiles as Kazuki runs over to her and tries to catch his breath.]

    Kazuki - Sorry it took so long.

             Those people DO NOT

             take cutting in line so

             lightly.

      Kaya - What do you mean?

    Kazuki - Here.

[Kazuki hands over a large paper bag to Kaya.]

      Kaya - Oh...

[Kaya gently opens the paper bag.]

      Kaya - Ah!

             Hahhh!

[Kaya smiles excitedly as the smell of smoked pork pours out of the paper bag.]

      Kaya - C-Can i really have

             them?!

    Kazuki - Oh...

             Of course!

             I bought them for YOU,

      Kaya - Ahaha!

             Thank you so much!

[Kaya begins to heartily eat the smoked pork, making Kazuki's smile grow wider.]

    Kazuki - Anyway, we'll need to

             find a place to rest

             for the night.

    Kaya - {Mouth stuffed with food}

             Mmm.

             Righch.

    Street - Umm, excuse me, Mister.

       Boy

    Kazuki - Oh?

      Kaya - Hmm?

[Kazuki looks behind him and notices a little street boy.]

    Street - Umm, i overheard saying

       Boy that you needed a place

             to stay.

    Kazuki - Ahh, that's right.

[Kazuki squats down to face the little street boy.]

    Kazuki - Can you help us out?

    Street - Sure!

       Boy

[The boy points in a direction.]

    Street - There's a hotel not too

       Boy far from here.

             It's high class but

             quite affordable.

    Kazuki - I see...

             Thanks for the info.

             We'll consider it.

    Street - No proble-

       Boy

[The street boy trues to walk forward but accidentally trips.]

    Street - Woah...

       Boy

    Kazuki - Look out!

[Kazuki catches the boy as he bumps into him.]

[Kazuki brightly smiles at the little boy.]

    Street - Ahh...

       Boy H-Hai...

             A-Anyway, good luck!

[The little street boy runs off.]

    Kazuki - Hmmm...

             "Affordable", huh?

             How much DO i have on

             me right now?

[Kazuki feels his pockets.]

    Kazuki - Heh?

[Kazuki thoroughly checks his pockets again.]

    Kazuki - [Thoughts]

      Kaya - Oh...

             Kazuki, what's wrong?

[Kazuki hesitantly turns to Kaya with a pitiful smile on his face.]

    Kazuki - Ahahaha.

             So, ummm, get this,

    Kazuki - It seems that little

             boy may or may not have

             stolen..all..our money.

[Later that night, Kazuki and Kaya sit on the ground at the side of the street.]

[A passerby throws something into Kaya's can.]

             button when i here it!!

    Kazuki - Would you knock it

             off?!

[Kaya groans in frustration.]

      Kaya - ...So what do we do

             now?

    Kazuki - ...I don't know.

      Kaya - ...You're telling me on

             our first night away

             from Mira, you lose all

             our money, leave us

             stranded on the streets

             in the middle of a city

             we know nothing about,

             and you have no idea

             what to do?!

    Kazuki - You seriously took that

[Kazuki and Kaya begin to childishly fight and roll around on the ground with eachother.]

Passerby 1 - Save that for home you

             weirdos.

Passerby 2 - So shameless...

Passerby 3 - Never mind them, dear.

             Just close your eyes.

[A mysterious, elegant looking carriage passes by Kazuki and Kaya. A beautiful, teenage girl inside notices them fighting and rolling on the streets.]

    Sophia - Ah!

             Stop the cart!

    Kazuki - Ngh...! Grrr...!

      Kaya - Ngh...! Grrr...!

[The girl comes out of the carriage and walks over to Kazuki and Kaya with her escorts.]

    Sophia - Ummm, excuse me.

    Kazuki - What?!

      Kaya - What?!

    Sophia - Wahh!

             I-I'm sorry!

             I just wanted to know

             if you were looking for

             a place to stay!

    Kazuki - Heh?

      Kaya - Heh?

[The girl behind them takes a curtsey as they face her.]

    Sophia - Allow me to introduce

             myself.

             My name is Sophia.

             Sophia Hamamoto.

             But you can call me

             Sophy.

             If you want, you're

             more than welcome to

             stay in family's

             mansion.

             It's just up ahead.

[Kazuki and Kaya suspiciously stare at Sophia.]

             than sleeping outside.

[Sophia excitedly smiles.]

    Sophia - Right?!

             Then it's settled!

             Guards, help them get

             in the carriage!

   Guard 1 - Hai, Sophia-Sama!

[At the Hamamoto mansion, Kazuki and Kaya meet Sophia's family.]

       Mrs - Hehhh?

  Hamamoto My, oh my.

             Looks like Sophy's

             strays.

        Mr - Honestly, what ARE we

[The girl blushes as her smile grows wider as Kazuki stands up. She then looks over at Kaya.]

[Kaya smiles.]

      Yuma - Is she your girlfriend?

    Kazuki - Eh?!

    Sophia - Ahem!

             Moving on...

             This is the youngest

             member of our family.

[Shiro, a cute, little boy from a distance, stands and stares at Kazuki and Kaya.]

    Sophia - He's a little shy, but

             to know him.

[Kazuki respectfully bows his head.]

             And this here is my

             twin sister, Kaya

[Kaya respectfully bows her head.]

    Kazuki - Thank you all for your

             hospitality.

             overstay our welcome.

             stay as long as you

             want.

      Kaya - Arigatou gozaimasu.

    Sophia - Well, now that we've

             gotten formalities out

             of the way, let me show

             you two around.

[A guard grabs Kazuki's Katana.]

   Guard 1 - Hold it!

    Kazuki - Oh?

   Guard 1 - Only us elite guards

             are allowed to carry

             weapons in the mansion.

             Anything other than

             that is strictly

             forbidden.

    Kazuki - Oh...

   Guard 1 - I'll have to ask you to

             hand that sword over for

[Kazuki looks at all the guards vigilantly staring at him. He then warmly smiles.]

             sword.

[All the guards quickly draw their weapons and prepare to attack Kazuki.]

      Yuma - Hmmmm?

       Mrs - Oh, my!

        Mr - Stand down, men!

  Hamamoto That's an order!

[All the guards slowly stand down.]

        Mr - Mr Kayne, i have no

  Hamamoto intention of taking

             that blade away if it

             really means that much

             to you.

    Kazuki - I'd really appreciate

             that.

        Mr - However, in return, i

  Hamamoto would like you to

             answer one question of

             mine.

             Would you be so kind as

[Kazuki smiles.]

    Kazuki - Only if it's within my

             knowledge.

[Sophia's smile grows wider.]

[Kazuki and Kaya stand up and begin to follow Sophia upstairs. Right as Kazuki walks past Shiro, he lightly grabs Kazuki's shirt.]

     Shiro - [Whispers]

              Run.

    Kazuki - Ah!

[Kazuki quickly looks behind him and sees Shiro walking off into his room.]

    Kazuki - Oh...

             [Thoughts]

              What was THAT about?

      Kaya - Kazuki, you coming?

    Kazuki - Oh!

             H-Hai!

[Kazuki quickly runs to Kaya and Sophia and they head off.]

[Much later in the night in their room, Kaya sleeps on a large bed while Kazuki stands at the window next to her and stares at the city.]

    Kazuki - [Thoughts]

              We really were lucky,

              weren't we?

              Being saved by such

              good people.

             [Thoughts]

              I wonder if the others

              were just as lucky.

[Kazuki gazes up at the stars.]

    Kazuki - [Thoughts]

              Koji, Sasha, Tsuyu,

              Anna...

             [Thoughts]

[At midnight, while Kazuki and Kaya sleep, someone quietly enters their room and slowly walks up to them. As the person reaches Kazuki and tries to touch him, Kazuki rapidly sits up and points his dagger at the person.]

    Kazuki - Ah!

[Kazuki sees Shiro standing in front of him with a frightening expression.]

    Kazuki - Sh-Shiro?!

             What are you doing here

             so late?

     Shiro - ...C-Come with me.

    Kazuki - Oh?

[Outside the mansion, Shiro and Kazuki stand facing eachother in the courtyard.]

    Kazuki - ...Why did you bring me

             out here?

             Does this have

             something to do with

             what you told me

             earlier?

     Shiro - ...You...

             Your sister...

             Right now...

             Your lives...

             ...Are in grave danger.

    Kazuki - Ah!

[Kazuki suddenly hears Kaya's scream from inside the mansion.]

    Kazuki - Ah!

     Shiro - Ah!

    Kazuki - Kaya!

[Kazuki begins to run off.]

     Shiro - Wait!

    Kazuki - Oh!

[Kazuki stops and looks at Shiro.]

     Shiro - I can help.

             If you can trust me...

             Then take me with you.

    Kazuki - ...Tell me everything

             you what's going on.

[In the mansion, Kazuki runs through a large, long corridor while piggybacking Shiro.]

     Shiro - Please help my family

             Kazuki-San.

    Kazuki - You're not making any

             sense shiro.

             Help them from what?

     Shiro - ...My family are also

             victims of the

             situation you find

             yourself in right now.

             Their fate, as well as

             the fate of your sister

             all hang on a thread.

             Because now their lives

     Shiro - A demonic creature

             calling itself "The

             One".

    Kazuki - "The One"?

     Shiro - It feasts on the bodies

             them, bone and all.

     Shiro - The creature offered my

             family a chance to save

             their lives as long

             they would agree to

             it's demands.

    Kazuki - Feeding it live

             children.

     Shiro - Yes.

    Kazuki - So what you're saying

             have a choice.

[Shiro sadly nods "Yes".]

     Shiro - They've done many

             wrong things since

             then, all for the sake

             of keeping me and my

             sisters safe.

    Kazuki - Kuh!

[In a large underground shrine below the mansion, Kazuki and Shiro come to large gate. Shiro climbs down Kazuki's back and tries to push the gate open.]

     Shiro - Hrgh...! Ngh!

[The gate refuses to open. Shiro then stops and breathes heavily.]

     Shiro - It's no use.

             They've locked it from

             the other way in.

[Kazuki walks over to the gate.]

     Shiro - Oh?

[Kazuki lifts one of his legs up and forcefully kicks the gate, sending it flying away in pieces.]

     Shiro - Hehhh!!!

             Ah...

[Kazuki begins to run in.]

     Shiro - Wait!

    Kazuki - Oh!

     Shiro - ...Prepare yourself for

             what you're about to

             face in there.

             I may have been the

             youngest member of my

             family, but i was

             always smart enough to

             always understand the

             situation i was in.

             Even so, i always

             behaved like the shy,

             naive child i should've

             been.

             Pretending to have no

             clue in what horrible

             acts my family were

             committing for years.

[Shiro sadly nods "Yes".]

             I really AM sorry for

[Kazuki smiles. He kneels down and gently pets Shiro's head.]

    Kazuki - I made a promise that

             i'd protect Kaya no

             matter what.

             Because she's the only

             family i have left.

[Kazuki gives his hand to Shiro.]

    Kazuki - Please help me save

             her.

             Help me save my sister.

     Shiro - Oh...

[Shiro smiles.]

[Shiro grabs Kazuki's hand and they both begin to run through a narrow pathway.]

[In a dark dungeon, Kaya slowly opens her eyes as she wakes up.]

      Kaya - Ughh...

             Where...am i?

             Ah!

             Kazuki?!

             Kazuki, where are you?!

             Kazuki!!

   The One - Shhhhh...

      Kaya - Ah!

   The One - Hushhh...

             My sweet sweet child...

[Kaya begins to tremble in fear.]

      Kaya - Wh-Who...Who's there?!

[A mysterious, humanoid figure in a dark corner steps into the light, revealing a hideous, horribly mangled faced and greatly obese xeno and slowly walks up to Kaya.]

   The One - Don't be afraid...my

             sweet child...

[The One gently places his palm on her cheek, making her tremble even more.]

   The One - Soon...you will go.

[The One begins to creepily pant and drool very heavily.]

      Kaya - G...G-Go?

             G-Go wh-where?

[The One's mouth opens as wide as Kaya's whole body, revealing a disgusting blood and teeth shrouded interior.]

   The One - To see Gooooood...!!!

      Kaya - Ahhhhh...!!!

[In a large corridor, Kazuki runs through while piggybacking Shiro in search for Kaya.]

    Kazuki - Shiro, where to next?!

     Shiro - I-I don't know!

             I've never made it

             beyond this point

             before!

[Kazuki gently puts down Shiro and kneels down. He then places his ear on the ground and carefully listens. He then hears some slight, muffled sounds.]

[Kazuki gets up on his feet with a serious expression.]

    Kazuki - Shiro.

     Shiro - Oh...

[Shiro quickly runs twenty seven steps away from Kazuki and closes his ears.]

     Shiro - What is he doing?

[Kazuki slowly unscabbards his katana and firmly grabs its hilt with both hands.]

     Shiro - A Katana?

[Kazuki closes his eyes and slowly inhales a deep breath, then slowly exhales. Thick veins begin to protrude on Kazuki's skin as a mysterious wind begins to swirl around him.]

    Kazuki - ...Moon Kinetic Arts.

[Kazuki opens his glowing, amethyst eyes.]

   The One - Ugh...

[The one's giant tongue slowly licks Kaya's whole body as she cries and begins licking her nether regions as he prepares to devour her]

   The One - I can already taste

             your fresh meat.

      Kaya - Ka...zuki...

[The one suddenly feels a horrible presence nearby.]

   The One - Ah!!!

[The one quickly pulls away from Kaya and begins to tremble, breathing heavily in fear.]

   The One - [Thoughts]

              What...was that?!

             [Thoughts]

              ...Was it just my

              conception?!

             [Thoughts]

              Or was someone-

             [Thoughts]

              Something was watching

              me!

[The one slowly calms down and menacingly grins.]

   The One - No matter.

             Nothing gets in the way

             of me and what i want.

[The one violently grabs Kaya's neck and begins to choke her.]

   The One - You should be happy.

             Once i devour you,

             you'll truly be one

             with "The One"!

      Kaya - Please...h-help...

[The one opens his mouth and tries to devour Kaya.]

      Kaya - Kazukiiiii...!!!

[Suddenly, the concrete ceiling above them blows up to pieces.]

   The One - Ah!

      Kaya - Ah...

   The One - [Thoughts]

              Wind?!

              Down here?!

             [Thoughts]

              That ground was over

              five hundred inches

              thick!

              What could've...

              Ah!

[The one quickly jumps a safe distance away as something rapidly lands in front of Kaya, making the dungeon tremble and clouding every with dust.]

   The One - [Thoughts]

              It's here.

[The one sees a mysterious silhouette with glowing, amethyst eyes menacingly staring at him in the dust.]

   The One - Ah!

[The one looks at the ground where he's standing and sees a pool of blood. He then horrifically looks at his arm which was choking Kaya and sees it's been ripped off.]

      Kaya - Ah...

[Kaya stands in awe for a while. She then slowly passes out and falls to the ground.]

    Kazuki - Ah!

             Kaya?!

             Kaya!

[After a while, Kaya slowly begins to wake up.]

      Kaya - Ugh...

    Kazuki - Kaya!

             Oi, Kaya!

             C'mon, wake up!

[Kaya fully wakes up being cradled in Kazuki's arms. Kazuki warmly smiles in relief.]

    Kazuki - Thank goodness you're

             alright.

[Tears begin to flow down Kaya's face as she\ tries to hold herself back from crying.]

    Kazuki - Ah!

[Kazuki horrifically looks down at Kaya's beaten up and saliva soaked body.]

    Kazuki - ...Kaya...

             Tell me what happened.

[Kaya tells Kazuki about everything the xeno did to her.]

      Kaya - Uwahhh...!

[Kaya fails to hold herself back any longer and bursts into tears.]

    Kazuki - ...I see.

[Kazuki warmly hugs Kaya.]

      Kaya - Oh!

    Kazuki - ...That must've been

             very painful.

             I had no idea.

             I'm so sorry Kaya.

             Please...don't let it

             get to you.

      Kaya - Oh...

    Kazuki - He'll get what he

             deserves.

             They all will.

             Just leave everything

             to me.

      Kaya - Kazuki...

[Kazuki hands slightly tighten around Kaya as veins protrude on his face.]

    Kazuki - Everyone will know that

             someone as pure as you

             should never be

             touched...

[Kazuki expression becomes demonically menacing.]

    Kazuki - By such filth!
