Now that I've taken some time to think about everything. I've decided to act with the knowledge I have of the future in mind. Or rather, against it.

I'm going to save my brother, even if I have to act against fate itself!

This is my resolve.

‘Right about now should be the time when Josuke and Keicho finally stop Fighting. They've been at it for a while. I'll head back upstairs and have a look.’ I thought, as I headed for the stairs again.

*Boom*crash* I heard loud explosions as the fight headed for the climax.

‘Shit! they just blew a chunk of wall off my house! Fuck there are cracks, holes and debree all over the second floor!! I live here dammit!! Who's gonna clean this up?’ My heart ached for the place I lived in. I knew it was a dump, but at least it was livable! Now the whole thing's falling apart!

*BOOM* Suddenly, There was a final massive explosion, greater than all the ones before, in one of the rooms upstairs.

After the fire died down a bit, I saw a figure limp out of the room. It was my Aniki, Keicho!

He was heading in the direction of my father's room.

Seconds later, I saw Josuke and the short white haired kid come staggering out of the same room. Instead of keeping the chase, I saw them stop for a moment to catch their breath.

‘Are they not following him?’I wondered as I drew closer, and listened in.

Josuke called out to the boy, grabbed him by the shoulder, and stopped him from going any further. "It's really dangerous here Koichi, let's get the hell out now, while we still can!" He whispered, with his brows arched upward.

‘The little guy he just spoke with looks like he’s in much better condition now. When I saw him earlier, he had an arrow in the chest and foot in the grave! His name should be Koichi Hirose. If we're still going by the script.’ I thought as I analyzed the situation. ‘Koichi would go on to play a pretty important role in the original story, but he's pretty much useless at the moment, since he has no Idea how to even use his stand.’

Koichi looked back at him with a raised eyebrow. "What about the bow and arrow? shouldn't we go in and look for them?" He asked.

Josuke took a breath and frowned "I'm hurt pretty bad, I don't think I could last much longer in a fight. Also remember, I've barely managed to fight the Nijimura brothers to a draw, but they also have a dad. I have no Idea what his ability is and I don't know what would happen if we fought. Let's head back for now. I’m begging you."

But in response Koichi frowned and tried convincing him otherwise. "Listen, because of your healing I'll be alright, but what if they hurt someone else? They could easily kill them! We have to stop them from using that bow on anyone else!" he argued

Josuke shook his head "I agree, but we shouldn't do it now, I'm not in any condition to fight and you still haven't awakened your stand properly yet. We can't fight like this."

Koichi's expression wasn't good. "They could easily escape and disappear with the weapon while we're gone! And right now, Keicho's in much worse condition than you anyway. We should stop them now while we still can! Who knows how many people they'll hurt if we don't stop them here and now."

Josuke's brows tightened "I already made my point. We are heading back. Now." He said, intending to end the argument.

Koichi finally realized he really wasn't gonna change his friend’s mind and decided to act on his own. "Fine! You stay here, I'll go back and grab the arrow."

Personally, if I was in the same situation, I would have preferred a temporary retreat.

I didn't realize this before when I first read the manga, but Koichi was actually quite a reckless guy at the start of the story. He was a 5'2 manlet trying to take on a 5'11 behemoth with superpowers.  (Well, my brother isn't actually a behemoth, he's just tall and muscular. Koichi in comparison almost looks like a child though)

He hadn't even unlocked his stand's abilities and yet, he still charged into danger in order to prevent other people from suffering just as he had.

If anything, I couldn’t help but admire his bravery. That’s probably why Josuke ended up changing his mind too.

After hesitating for a moment. "...Dammit!...I'm coming with you." Josuke rellented and followed after his friend.

After listening in on their argument, I stealthily followed them as they explored deeper into the dark mansion. They followed a trail of blood  apparently left by my brother. It led up to a dark and gloomy room, which was somehow even darker and gloomier than all the others in this wretched house.

It looked like Keicho had entered this room before them. They slowly and carefully pushed the door open but instead of finding my brother inside, they found themselves face to face with a living nightmare.
