Yu XinYue woke up after a long sleep. She felt refreshed and full of energy. Stretching her body like a cat while yawning, Yu XinYue opened her eyes and looked at the thin purple silk that fluttered whenever a breeze blew.

Pushing herself up, Yu XinYue scratched her head while looking around here. Is there any clothes for her to change into? She wants to take a bath at the hotspring.

Yu XinYue saw cupboards and boxes were placed at the wall near the incense furnace. Maybe there are some clothes stored there?

Opening the cupboards, Yu XinYue saw no clothes inside, instead it was filled with jade bottles like those in the parlor. Yu XinYue opened the boxes beside the cupboards and finally found a few sets of clothes. Taking out one set of the ancient hanfu, Yu XinYue walked to the hot spring and washed her face and body in a room beside the hot spring before she finally soaked in the hot spring. Letting out a satisfied sigh, Yu XinYue closed her eyes.

I can’t stay in this place forever. I need to find a way to go back to my world. Don’t know how Zhi Jiu and LuoYe are doing right now? That lightning, I hope it did not inflict any harm to them.

Yu XinYue finished her bath in one hour and left the bamboo house, wearing a set of ancient clothes like those in xianxia dramas. Standing in front of the house, Yu XinYue was thinking how to leave this place before her eyes blurred suddenly and she was standing on the riverside.

Looking at her surroundings, Yu XinYue smiled when she found that she was out of that place. So she just needs to think about it if she wants to go in or out of that place. Yu XinYue was delighted with this, that place is her spatial space. It’s a good golden finger for a commoner like her.

Yu XinYue closed her eyes and tried to see the situation inside her spatial space. Yu XinYue doesn’t know if she could do it or not. Focusing her mind, Yu XinYue could see the situation inside her spatial space clearly. With her lips curled up, Yu XinYue tries to use her mind and think about the peach inside her space.

Opening her eyes, Yu XinYue saw a round big peach on her palm. Indeed, she could take out any items from her spatial space with her mind. It’s really convenient for her. But she needs to practice a few more times, since it’s not easy to focus her mind and take out items from her space while staying outside.

Biting on the peach, Yu XinYue walked towards the forest across the riverside. Yu XinYue needed to leave this place if she wanted to find a way to go back to her world.

Walking for almost an hour, Yu XinYue reached the border between the forest and the grassland. This forest looked normal from afar but why did it look so creepy when it was nearer? Yu XinYue gulped and took a deep breath before she walked into the forest.

This forest was covered by tall trees with lush leaves that hindered the sunlight from reaching the ground. It makes the temperature inside the forest lower than the outside and it feels damp. Yu XinYue rubbed her arms when she felt goosebumps rising on it.

She walked while looking at her surroundings in a high vigilance. The forest became darker and darker when Yu XinYue walked. Whenever the wind blew, Yu XinYue could hear the howling-like sounds. The situation right now was similar to the horror movie that Yu XinYue watched before. There won’t be a ghost or some serial killer appeared out of nowhere right?

Taking careful steps, Yu XinYue’s progress was not much even after she walked for half a day. When Yu XinYue felt that she got lost inside this dark forest, a light penetrated from the side of a tall huge tree. Yu XinYue’s eyes lit up when she finally saw a light.

With a large stride, Yu XinYue walked towards the light direction while pushing aside bushes in front of her. Not noticing her heartbeat increased because of her fear and hurried steps, Yu XinYue’s fast steps turned into a run. She felt like something was behind her and a tense feeling surged inside her heart.

Her back turned cold slowly while a layer of cold sweat appeared on her forehead and her back. Not daring to look behind her, Yu XinYue prayed that whatever was behind her would be gone when she was inside the light.

Hhhrrr…

With creepy sounds that made her throat tighten right behind her, Yu XinYue pushed aside bushes in front of her and finally reached the source of the light. The moment she stepped into the light circle, the cold feeling behind her was gone and her legs went limp before she fell to the ground gasping for breath.

Yu XinYue swallows her saliva trying to moisten her throat while she raises her eyes slowly to look at whatever is trying to catch her. The moment Yu XinYue raised her eyes, she looked straight into a black figure clad in tattered robes without a face. Only a hollow eye socket could be seen on the flat face.

Yu XinYue moved backwards in a sitting position while her eyes glued to that floating black figure. She doesn’t dare to let out any sound. The black figure was banging on the air like there was some barrier forbidding it to come in.

After trying to break the barrier for a while without any success, the black figure let out a shrill sound filled with anger before floating high to the sky and disappeared from that place. Yu XinYue finally could let out a sigh of relief.

What the hell is happening? What is that thing?

Yu XinYue though was in a mess after her short encounter with that black figure. Not knowing that she just brushed past a dangerous devil, Yu XinYue tried to stand up and looked at her surroundings.

This place looked like a platform used for some ritual. In the middle of this place, there was a round platform built with a white stone that was covered with grass and moss. It looked desolate and abandoned.

Yu XinYue walked towards the stone platform and noticed that the ground was full with colorful glittering stones scattered everywhere. Picking up one of the stones, Yu XinYue took a closer look. Inside the glittering stone was filled with fog that glows with color.

Turns out, the color was coming from the fog inside the stone. Holding the stone in her palm, Yu XinYue felt a warm current sipping into her palm. What is this stone?

Yu XinYue picks up all the stones scattered on this place and keeps it in her space. Whatever these stones are, Yu XinYue felt that it’s good stuff. Because when she held onto the stone, Yu XinYue felt her fatique was reduced and she felt the warm current circle her body before ending up in a place above her pubic.

Spending half an hour picking up those stones, Yu XinYue finally walked towards the stone platform in the middle of this place. In the stone platform, there was a round stone table with its center being hollowed up making it look like a bowl. Touching on the stone table, Yu XinYue felt the surface of it was uneven. Cleaning the grass and moss from the surface, Yu XinYue finally could see the ancient scripts carved on it.

Looking at the scripts, a thought appeared inside Yu XinYue’s mind. This is a ritual table? Opening her palm, Yu XinYue took out a gourd filled with the lake water from her space. Pouring the water into the hollow place, Yu XinYue looked at the sky.

Tonight was a full moon but the moon was covered by dark clouds. Yu XinYue could hear thunder rumbling occasionally. Using two gourds of water to fill the hollow place, Yu XinYue waited until the moon was clear from the dark clouds.

The moment the dark clouds were cleared, the moonlight shone right to the stone table and the water inside the hollow place glistened like a thousand stars. Yu XinYue could see with her naked eyes, the moonlight carried a soft blue light and the water in the table slowly turned blue.

Not knowing how long time has passed, Yu XinYue saw the water in the stone table slowly decrease while the color became deeper. When the moon went down and the dawn was here only then Yu XinYue came back to her senses.

Looking at the hollow place, a blue stone surrounded by bright particles like stars was lying there. Picking up the blue stone, Yu XinYue saw a galaxy-like light inside the stone. The stone size was as big as her fist.

This stone looks like a small galaxy. Is it the same as the galaxy that I know or is it just a magical item?

Yu XinYue looked at the blue stone for a while before keeping it inside her space. When the sun rose, the dark forest looked less creepy. Indeed, it’s a bad decision to go to the forest when it’s night time. Yu XinYue left that place and continued walking towards the north. Not noticing that her body is not feeling tired at all even though she didn’t sleep for the whole night.
