Duel Monsters Online?

A young man was paralyzed, laying in a hospital bed. His grandmother wanted to give him the freedom to move and live a life. To do so she created Duel Monsters Online. The preliminary tests were perfect, however when the server went live everything crashed. All of the data was erased for some unknown reason, and her precious grandson seemed to die in the accident.

Meanwhile, he woke up in another world that seemed familiar but slightly different. The game was running perfectly! He never felt so free! It was so realistic, and all the menus were in working order! Except the log out button, and there were no other 'players'.
