Marcel Gray is an heir to the wealthy Gray family, but his bloodline hides a very dark secret. Born in the thriving French metropolis of Devigne, dubbed 'the most progressive society in the world'- the city is closest to becoming a utopia, however the city hides a dark secret- the suicide rate is exponentially higher than any other place in the world, it can be assumed that the suicides are committed by people who buckle under the pressures that come with being residents of the high-standard city, this prompts the mayor of Devigne to create a special suicide unit to investigate the cause of these suicides led by Marcel himself - are these suicides caused by the pressures of society or something darker?
